Chicago Defiance Box Set Part One is a collection of the first three books in the Chicago Defiance series, Resistance (Torque/Heeley), Penance (Sensei/Ayla) and Deviance (Trax/Mylee). Each book focuses on one couple of the MC at a time, but all of the books intertwine with one another. With no cliffhangers. I highly recommend reading them in order!
I loved every one of the stories in this box set. Each book is told in a way no other MC book I have ever read. They still have some violence and action in them but not overbearing and the back and forth between each couple just keeps you turning as well as some laugh out loud moments. Each main couple have strong men with women that can stand on their own, but are better with their men beside them. The banter between the characters is fantastic. I highly recommend reading this box set and I will definitely be looking for more in the Chicago Defiance Series , as well as anything K. E. Osborn writes and you should too. Thanks for honor of reading and review this great box set!!! This was a first time read of the author and WILL not be my last!!! Simply fantastic series!!! Happy reading.

1) Resistance
Ryan “Torque” O’Shea is the President of the Defiance MC. He has been avoiding relationships since his wife Zoey was killed six years ago and he also knows how dangerous his life can be. Lately his MC has been running into trouble with the Andretti group and he is hoping to avoid a war with them.
Heeley Fox owns a Froyo store with her family and is shocked with Torque and several others members of his MC enter the store looking for a place to hide. Her attraction to him was immediate but is she prepared for the lifestyle he leads?
As things heat up between Heeley and Torque so do things between the Defiance and the Andretti’s. Can Torque keep Heeley and his Defiance members safe from an upcoming war?
This is a great introduction to the Defiance MC and I really like where things are headed!
I thought Torque was a great President and through the book he managed to act with his head and not fly off the handle and rush into things like his brother, Trax, wanted to do. Although things were heating up he knew he had people to protect and therefore had to act carefully as he wasn’t prepared for a war and didn’t have the man power to do it.
Heeley was a great girl who wanted to become a doctor and worked at her family business to earn enough money to pay for school. She really wanted Torque but was unsure of she really wanted to be involved with him due to ethical reasons and she wanted to stay on the right side of the law.
The sexual tension between Heeley and Torque was through the roof and it was worrisome that she could become a target in the war between the Andretti’s and Defiance.
There were a few MC scenes that were extremely intense and you didn’t know who was going to make it out ok. I was freaking and was definitely mad at the Andretti’s for what they were putting them through. I was shocked at a meeting between Enzo and Torque with everything that was revealed. Not expecting that at all!!
The very end was awesome but things with Sensei look like they are just getting started!
2) Penance
Raiden “Sensei” Maki believes he has just seen his biological father, Aiko Ishikawa, after never meeting the man before. Now he must keep his family safe from the man and the Yakuzza who may destroy everything close to him. He vows to protect his brothers in Defiance MC and they have vowed to protect his family.
Ayla “Spanner” is the opposite of Sensei but when they meet over a bike sparks fly. Spanner is the complete opposite of Sensei but there is something about her that draws him in, even with all of the danger around them.
With tensions mounting between the Yakuzzo and Definance MC where will loyalties lay?
This is another great book in the series and it is getting more intense with every book!
I loved Sensei in the first book and this book was even better for him! He is such an intense character that is completely loyal and honorable to those he believes in. He was extreme in his torture methods and I would hate to be on his bad side!
Spinner was absolutely awesome and I loved her spunk and forwardness. She had such a great personality that you could see getting her into trouble at times but at the same time she could get away with so much when it came to Sensei but in a good way. Her chemistry with Sensei was through the roof and I loved the two of them together!
I had no idea how the Yakuzzo seemed to gain so much power when the powers that be did not want them in the US yet the still managed to pay off certain officials to get what they wanted around town. They were also very ruthless and would bring down anyone that crossed them.
I was shocked at one of the events at the garage and I was very grateful for Spinner’s brothers!
I liked the two police officers Brody and Grier and I hope we get more of them through the series.
The end was incredibly tense with the events between all of the groups and I was so mad at one turn of events until we learned the truth!!
Such a great read and I am looking forward to the next one!
3) Deviance
Konnor “Trax” O’Shea belongs to Defiance MC but struggles with his temper and the fact that he never got over his heart being broken.
Mylee Bannerman is the daughter of Crest, who is the President of the Notorious Knights MC and she is in need of protection and Crest has come to Defiance as a last resort.
But for Trax this is something he is struggling with since Mylee left him without a word and never gave him a chance to help her with her struggles. Can Trax protect Mylee from Everett Scott, a man she met while hospitalized and whose father is a Senator with a lot of influence.
Can Trax and Mylee get over the past before it causes them more hurt?
This was such a great book and I loved the twist with Mylee’s health and how it made things a little different which I really liked!
Trax was super interesting as he had a huge temper and could lose control of things so easily and it caused his club a few problems because of it when they were trying to obtain information from certain people. He was passionate but he still needed to figure out some things and he tended to get his anger out and had a lot of trouble controlling it. He was so bitter about what happened in the past with Mylee and I knew he had to figure out a way to get past it before it destroyed him.
Mylee had her own issues and she was terrified that her diagnosis would literally destroy her. She wanted to stay away from Trax in fear that she could hurt him or eventually he could lose her to herself. She worked hard at fixing herself but during her hospitalization she meets Everett who becomes fixated on her.
There was so much chemistry between Mylee and Trax and the two had a past that was taken away from them when Mylee was unable to handle the news she was given. The two had to work hard at overcoming the past but I had my fingers crossed that the two would find their way back together.
The twists and turns were awesome and you could tell at certain times that something was coming but you weren’t sure what or when it would happen. I wasn’t surprised at one point and I really wondered if Ace would be able to do his thing when it was apparent how prepared another character was.
The end was awesome but there were some surprising ties between certain characters that I was not expecting at all!

I cant get enough of K.E. Osborn and her stories. I can get so caught up in her stories with her characters that make you feel like you have known them or that maybe they could be your friend that lives down the street. I always make sure to get my hands on K.E. stuff because it is so good.

I knew I wanted to read this set because I love MC Romance. Although this was the first books from this particular author I was more than eager to give them a go.
This is a three book set that will get you started on the series. The first book Resistance is Torque (the club president) and Heeley's story. They could not be more different and I think that is what makes their story so great. I love when they have the opposites attract in the MC world. It just added a little something that made the story that much better. This was the perfect start to this series.
Penance, the second book is Sensei (the enforcer) and Alya's (better know as Spanner) story. Sensei is really intense but I loved this one as much as the first. These two had chemistry that was simply off the charts.
Finally there was Deviance which is Trax and Mylee's story. It was also the most emotional of the three books in my opinion. They had a past that left them broken. I also thought that the issues with Mylee's health made this story so much more than your everyday romance read.

Book #1: Resistance
I freaking loved this book. I am a huge fan of MC books and when I read the blurb I was like really, a froyo chick as a potential old lady, is this going to work? Heck yeah it is going to work because Heely is so much more than that and this book was pretty legit!
Characters:
Heely- Froyo legacy working in her parents froyo shop while she dreams of becoming a doctor and helping people. She is fiery, loyal, has a huge heart, and likes to live a little on the dangerous side.
Torque- FREAKING SWOON! He is seriously an amazing man who hit a bit of a rough patch for the past few years. He is President of the Defiance MC and is a super smart guy.
Supporting Characters- a bunch of sexy, surly, super bad@ss bikers, what is not to love about that?
Plot:
Great premise. I loved how the author took a random spin on this (I am still talking about freaking froyo store- I love it!) and how everything played out. I do not think that the story line moved too slow or too fast throughout.
Steam:
Slow burn at it’s finest, but there are definitely some hot moments before the two do the deed. Let’s just say that the heat is just right!
All in All:
5 outta 5, loved the romance, plot, characters, and dangerous aspect (because hello, they are an MC) that was thrown in!

If I thought the first book in this series was great, this one blew me away. The story line was epic and so was the romance. I am a huge fan!
Characters:
Ayla- sassy mechanic that acts more like a guy than some guys out there! She can be super brash but you can see the layers underneath.
Sensei- Smoking hot member of the MC that is known for his enforcing abilities. He should be a super scary dude, but his father taught him how to channel his emotions, even if it does not mean that the fire is out. Unfortunately, that has made him become a little stiff in his life. He needs someone to shake him up a little…. in a good way.
Plot:
WHAT A FREAKING PLOT THIS IS! It is deep and altogether pretty darn awesome. I am not going to go into detail in it, but wow I am still blown away by it. Also, we get a new baddie in town which definitely deals with Sensei, which is gonna rock his world…. not in a good way.
Steam:
This was pretty constant the whole book. I liked how both Sensei and Ayla struggled over emotions having never felt that kinda way before. The chemistry between these two are pretty freaking great.
All in All:
Can I give 6 stars?
This book was a freaking amazing roller coaster that I enjoyed being on and reading about. I loved how deep the characters were and how everything came together.
READ THIS BOOK if you want an awesome MC story!

I absolutely LOVED this book! Seriously, where has KE Osborn been all of my life? She comes up with the most amazing story lines but still within our fav MC sub genre. I was so happy to finally get Trax’s story after reading about him in the other books, I was not disappointed at all!
CHARACTERS:
Trax: Bad-A MC member, brother to Torque the Pres, and has a massive temper and way too many emotions rolling about inside of him. Loves Mylee and has for years but is so hurt that she “chose” to leave him 2 years ago.
Mylee: MC Princess, grew up in the life of the MC since her father was the Pres of a different club. She has a freaking good reason for why she left Trax all those years ago, and still has to overcome that issue before she will truly be good with being with him.
PLOT:
Oh it was a good one! Trax and Mylee are reacquainted because she has a freaking crazy guy after her and her father thought they would not be able to trace her to a different MC and knows that Trax would protect her with his life. But that is when all of the fun begins. Can Trax get his life and his emotions together to give Mylee what she needs? Can Mylee get her freaking life together to give herself and Trax what they need?
You just gotta read it to see, but trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed!

Oh definitely there! These two lovers know each other like crazy and the sexual tension is just wow!

This is a great value box set containing eight great books - forget your TBR list as this will require your complete attention.
#1 - Resistance - 5*
Torque is the President of the Defiance MC whilst Heely is a medical student who works in her family's Froyo store to both help them and have some kind of an income. They would strike you as two sides of a coin until they meet and there is an instant attraction. However, he has 2 problems to handle - the club owned by the MC is having issues with the local mafia (Andretti family) and the second one - the fathers of both families have a historic feud over the city too. Can their fledgling relationship survive such an atmosphere? Can Defiance and the Andretti family pull back from out and out war?
I loved this story. It had pretty much everything you expected from an MC romance book and then some. There were battles, injuries, healing, emotion, brotherhood, compromise and passion in this story. It was well told by the author and it was easy to empathise and feel the thoughts and emotions of the characters in the story. I'm looking forward to the next instalment in their story as I feel quite attached to them.
#2 - Penance - 4*
Sensei is surrounded by drama - his family is hiding from the Japanese Yakuza (an organisation that wants to buy and control everything), his club is at war with them (they want to control Chicago and push everyone else out) and then he meets a woman called Spanner who is the shining light in his world (even though now isn't really the time). She is the complete opposite of him but it's like he is an addict and cannot stay away. You would think it would never work but in a bizarre way, they complement each other completely. Can everyone survive when it seems to all relate to what happened in the past because bloodshed is definitely coming - it's just a case of who is going to pay penance for the sins of the past?
This was a story full of drama, danger and passion. It was lovely to see more of the human side of these MC members that seem to always be there breaking the stereotypes we all have in our heads. It was also great to realise that Sensei is not the robot that he seemed in the first book but is human, has feelings and his connection to Spanner should continue to soften his harder edges. Well written and easy to read and understand I loved the way the story developed from a more localised problem to something quite personal
#3 - Deviance - 4*
When Mylee walked away and the shock of that made Trax what he is today. However, when she renters his life under threat he is the only one who can protect her even if it means that they all find out why she left. This story is going to be a wild ride which will also be a perfect example of Defiance.
This was a great story that had so much drama, twists and turns that it almost made you a little dizzy with it all. Tremor is a prospect in the Defiance MC Club but is also in love with Neala (Lala) - however, she is the Torque the Club President's little sister and has basically told him to stay away from her. So he feels he has a choice - the Club or her? There is also some betrayal on the way - can they all survive it and can he get the girl he loves as well as the patch he desperately wants?
Wow - there were so many twists, turns and lots of drama in this story. Granted there were times I wanted to bang some heads together and try to make sense prevail but they did eventually get with the program! The betrayal was definitely a surprise in several ways but that in itself was charming and a welcome antidote to some misconceptions. Well written and a great read it was perfect for anyone who likes sassy women and strong men who are not afraid to show emotion.

This is the story of Chains and Bex. In it, we look at his early life and the friend he left behind before Bex and her family took him in. This book is all about lies - those we tell ourselves as well as manipulation, deception, abuse and hurtful thoughts/actions. So where are the allegiances going to lie at the end?
OMG - this was just SO good. It started dramatically, got worse, then changed tack and got even more dramatic before the finales for each of the two tacks that were unrelated but equally as dramatic. It was like being in a washing machine, going through one segment of the wash cycle, then emptying and going through the next wash cycle segment. There were times when I was horrified, times I was just angry, times I was thrilled and times I was completely heartbroken and crying (I had to stop and wipe my eyes so that I could see to read!). Throughout were the common themes of love, loyalty, sacrifice and vengeance. Well written, easy to read, feel and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content, violence and sexual violation.

She is the complete opposite of him but it's like he is an addict and cannot stay away. You would think it would never work but in a bizarre way, they complement each other completely. Can everyone survive when it seems to all relate to what happened in the past because bloodshed is definitely coming - it's just a case of who is going to pay penance for the sins of the past?
This was a story full of drama, danger and passion. It was lovely to see more of the human side of these MC members that seem to always be there breaking the stereotypes we all have in our heads. It was also great to realise that Sensei is not the robot that he seemed in the first book but is human, has feelings and his connection to Spanner should continue to soften his harder edges. Well written and easy to read and understand I loved the way the story developed from a more localised problem to something quite personal

However, when she renters his life under threat he is the only one who can protect her even if it means that they all find out why she left. This story is going to be a wild ride which will also be a perfect example of Defiance.

The Chicago Defiance MC will take you on an intense, sexy, unpredictable, all-consuming ride.
Resistance: What do you do when a group of bikers chooses to hide in your store? Heeley surprises the men by not being scared of them and defends her turf which has Torque all twisted up. Torque is the president of the Chicago Defiance with huge responsibilities. When he found himself in a no-win situation with their rivals, the Andretti’s, he lands in a frozen yogurt store to hide. What he doesn’t expect is to find a woman full of sass and confidence. Heeley is studying to be a doctor so when Torque pursues her, she has some big decisions to make. How does she become a doctor while being connected to a MC? The interactions between Heeley and Torque are wonderful to experience as Heeley pushes his buttons yet there is a balance between them. Add in the drama and suspense of life in a MC and this was a beautifully balanced romance that kept me interested and wanting more.
Penance: Diving back into the Chicago Defiance MC is full of intense drama. Sensei realizes that the new threat to the club may be because of him and his family which puts his whole family in danger. As they work to figure out how to handle the Yakuza, Sensei meets Spanner, an auto mechanic and is blown away by this sassy woman with incredible skill. Spanner, aka Ayla, is a great match for Sensei. He maintains this stoic exterior and she truly gets to him and helps him loosen up which lets us get to know him. Their chemistry is off the charts and they definitely know how to heat it up in the bedroom giving a great balance to the drama surrounding the club. I also enjoyed that we get to interact with all the club members, seeing how past couples are doing and learning more about other members and what may happen for them in the future which has provided a great world that I want to learn more about.
Defiance: Intense, electrifying, sexy, second-chance romance. The Chicago Defiance MC family always takes me on an incredible journey. This is a family that will do whatever it takes to protect their own. Trax has been an interesting character, very intense and oftentimes making me uncomfortable with the choices he makes. When Mylee returns to their MC needing protection, we start to learn what pushed Trax into his unpredictable ways. Mylee left Trax 2 years ago and broke his heart as she sought treatment for her bi-polar disorder. Trax knows he will do anything to protect her but can he trust her with his heart again? Mylee never stopped loving Trax but her illness scares her, she feels she is in a better place, can she get Trax to trust her again? Or will the person obsessed with Mylee get to her first? Each brother’s story takes me on that crazy, emotional roller-coaster that always has me guessing. I love that the entire club is involved in the stories allowing me to experience how past couples are moving forward with their lives together.

When Tremor’s father reappears in his life, this puts several people in danger but it also is a wake-up call for Tremor. He has secrets that have to be revealed to allow the MC to protect everyone. At the same time, while these two struggle with how they feel, we get to experience the daily drama that happens at the Chicago Defiance MC. I love how the entire crew is part of the story which allows us to know how characters from prior books are continuing on their own journey while they help shape what happens for Tremor and Neala. Another incredible story that pulled me in and wouldn’t let go.
5 – Acceptance: Exciting forbidden romance or is it? Chains has found his family with the Defiance MC but the family that saved him all those years ago is still the core of his being. His connection to his foster sister, Bex, has always been natural, comfortable and consuming. When he finally acts on all these feelings, will he end up pushing Bex away? Or will he be kicked out of the family? Bex is an amazing woman, a doctor that takes on the MC crew with confidence. When she first met Chains, she was shocked by the state this young boy was in but his eyes captivated her. She is shocked when Chains kisses her, he is her brother, but is he really? As these two navigate the chance for a relationship, Chains embarks on a quest to save his friend Luc from the insane world he grew up in. Learning Chains past was heart-breaking but uplifting to see how he came out of all this horror an incredibly strong gentleman. Will these two allow themselves to accept what they have always felt?
6 – Balance: The Defiance MC always deliver an exciting and intense experience. Just when you think life will be quiet at the club, trouble seems to find them. Even though some of what happens makes me squeamish, what I truly love is the devotion these guys have for their Old Ladies and families. This pulls me in and keeps me reading, hoping everything crazy that happens works itself out.
This time it’s Ace’s story, will he finally find a woman to love and that loves him for his nerdy-self. Cindi has her first big movie role and Ace is tasked with checking on her to make sure everything is ok on set which allows him to meet Neve, a confident, successful woman that lives her passion, acting. The best thing, he doesn’t know she is famous which is a huge turn on for Neve since typically everyone she meets wants something from her. But Ace breaks that mold and just sees this incredible woman. Now, dating a biker isn’t the best for Neve’s image but they can’t fight their attractions. I am a huge fan of this MC crew that starts with Torque and Foxy, the president and his wife on down to the Lift, the prospect waiting to get his cut. I love that these stories always provide different viewpoints to help deliver all the amazing emotion that is happening to that character and how it impacts life in the club. This is a hard review to write since I think everyone needs to dive in and experience all the unexpected craziness that unfolds and has your heart in a vice as you experience this journey.
8 – Allegiance: The Chicago Defiance family always takes me on an intense, unpredictable ride. Vibe and Lift become the focus in this installment. Vibe has been hooking up with club girl Hayley for a while but hasn’t made her an old lady yet. Then one night, Hayley is attacked which sends a shift in the club since her attacker gets arrested, not how they prefer to deal with the situation. At the same time, Lift meets Lily and finds an attraction he never expected but both of them hide who they really are to each other. Then their two worlds collide when Lift finds out Lily is representing Hayley’s attacker. Lily has worked tirelessly to become a named partner at the law firm but meeting Lift has her reevaluating this singular focus. When she finds out he is connected to her latest case, a man she doesn’t want to defend, where will her allegiance fall? A new threat enters the picture against the club in the process that puts another brother at risk. This journey kept me guessing and had me tied in knots needing to know how this family would survive these latest challenges.
I read these books when each was published individually.
1 - Resistance: What do you do when a group of bikers chooses to hide in your store? Heeley surprises the men by not being scared of them and defends her turf which has Torque all twisted up. Torque is the president of the Chicago Defiance with huge responsibilities. When he found himself in a no-win situation with their rivals, the Andretti’s, he lands in a frozen yogurt store to hide. What he doesn’t expect is to find a woman full of sass and confidence. Heeley is studying to be a doctor so when Torque pursues her, she has some big decisions to make. How does she become a doctor while being connected to a MC? The interactions between Heeley and Torque are wonderful to experience as Heeley pushes his buttons yet there is a balance between them. Add in the drama and suspense of life in a MC and this was a beautifully balanced romance that kept me interested and wanting more.
2 - Penance: Diving back into the Chicago Defiance MC is full of intense drama. Sensei realizes that the new threat to the club may be because of him and his family which puts his whole family in danger. As they work to figure out how to handle the Yakuza, Sensei meets Spanner, an auto mechanic and is blown away by this sassy woman with incredible skill. Spanner, aka Ayla, is a great match for Sensei. He maintains this stoic exterior and she truly gets to him and helps him loosen up which lets us get to know him. Their chemistry is off the charts and they definitely know how to heat it up in the bedroom giving a great balance to the drama surrounding the club. I also enjoyed that we get to interact with all the club members, seeing how past couples are doing and learning more about other members and what may happen for them in the future which has provided a great world that I want to learn more about.
3 – Deviance: Intense, electrifying, sexy, second-chance romance. The Chicago Defiance MC family always takes me on an incredible journey. This is a family that will do whatever it takes to protect their own. Trax has been an interesting character, very intense and oftentimes making me uncomfortable with the choices he makes. When Mylee returns to their MC needing protection, we start to learn what pushed Trax into his unpredictable ways. Mylee left Trax 2 years ago and broke his heart as she sought treatment for her bi-polar disorder. Trax knows he will do anything to protect her but can he trust her with his heart again? Mylee never stopped loving Trax but her illness scares her, she feels she is in a better place, can she get Trax to trust her again? Or will the person obsessed with Mylee get to her first? Each brother’s story takes me on that crazy, emotional roller-coaster that always has me guessing. I love that the entire club is involved in the stories allowing me to experience how past couples are moving forward with their lives together.
4 – Sufferance: What’s a prospect to do when he falls in love with the Pres’ sister? Tremor walks away from Neala, choosing getting his patch over her. Neala is beyond frustrated with Tremor. When Tremor’s father reappears in his life, this puts several people in danger but it also is a wake-up call for Tremor. He has secrets that have to be revealed to allow the MC to protect everyone. At the same time, while these two struggle with how they feel, we get to experience the daily drama that happens at the Chicago Defiance MC. I love how the entire crew is part of the story which allows us to know how characters from prior books are continuing on their own journey while they help shape what happens for Tremor and Neala. Another incredible story that pulled me in and wouldn’t let go.
5 – Acceptance: Exciting forbidden romance or is it? Chains has found his family with the Defiance MC but the family that saved him all those years ago is still the core of his being. His connection to his foster sister, Bex, has always been natural, comfortable and consuming. When he finally acts on all these feelings, will he end up pushing Bex away? Or will he be kicked out of the family? Bex is an amazing woman, a doctor that takes on the MC crew with confidence. When she first met Chains, she was shocked by the state this young boy was in but his eyes captivated her. She is shocked when Chains kisses her, he is her brother, but is he really? As these two navigate the chance for a relationship, Chains embarks on a quest to save his friend Luc from the insane world he grew up in. Learning Chains past was heart-breaking but uplifting to see how he came out of all this horror an incredibly strong gentleman. Will these two allow themselves to accept what they have always felt?
6 – Balance: The Defiance MC always deliver an exciting and intense experience. Just when you think life will be quiet at the club, trouble seems to find them. Even though some of what happens makes me squeamish, what I truly love is the devotion these guys have for their Old Ladies and families. This pulls me in and keeps me reading, hoping everything crazy that happens works itself out.
This time it’s Ace’s story, will he finally find a woman to love and that loves him for his nerdy-self. Cindi has her first big movie role and Ace is tasked with checking on her to make sure everything is ok on set which allows him to meet Neve, a confident, successful woman that lives her passion, acting. The best thing, he doesn’t know she is famous which is a huge turn on for Neve since typically everyone she meets wants something from her. But Ace breaks that mold and just sees this incredible woman. Now, dating a biker isn’t the best for Neve’s image but they can’t fight their attractions. Resistance - We meet Torque, Lift, and Trax at the beginning of this book. When Lift and Trax do something stupid, what is it? Where do we meet Heeley , Ari, and Xav at? Who are they? I have to say, I loved Surge! Oh Boy! Torque, Trax, and Sensei play merciless games and then show mercy! Dang! I love Heeley! Jury is out on Ari and Xav. OH MY GOD! Heeley is Sooooo Perfect for Torque! What happens with the Andretti family is interesting as well. What happened between Enzo and Torque's fathers? Why? Will we find out? You'll have to read and see! Enjoy this book. I know I certainly did!
Penance - I love that we get Sensei's story in this second book of the series! I love Sensei's road name AND his birth name! Scratch is a hoot at the beginning of this book, mainly because of what happened in Resistance. I enjoyed and chuckled at the description of SPanner. Spanner's habit of calling Sensei by another name is so funny to read, especially Sensei's reaction to it. Spanner's relationship with Bowie and Heath as siblings is a riot. OH MY GOD! Wha thappens with Spanner and Sensei and then Sensei's mom walking in was HILARIOUS! You really don't want to miss the girl's night out that happens in this story. Hoooo boy! When Sensei loses his cool....well, crap! Man does this story get INTENSE as you get towards the end. Read and see what I mean!

We get to know how he became the broken, angsty man we have come to wonder about in the first two books of the series. Who is Mylee? What happened with her? Well, guess what, you get to find out in this story!!! Woot! Find out what happens when Crest, the President of another MC shows up at the gate to the Defiance Clubhouse with no word that he was coming. Who are Malcom, Everett, Jason, and Miller? Read and see how they play their parts in this story! This book was certainly full of action, sex, romance, and suspense! See what happens with Enzo and the Andretti's in the middle of it all! Enjoy the read! Cannot wait to read Sufferance!

Resistance (Chicago Defiance MC #1)

I loved this story. From the moment I started the characters just grabbed my attention and the story held my interest right to the end. It was fast paced, and full of surprises which kept me guessing. The tough guy Torque had all the usual MC alpha male traits and more which made him a very interesting character and Heely’s a “good girl” but no pushover, she worked as a med student and makes extra money at her parents Froyo store.
I enjoyed how this story came together. There was twists and drama, serious angst and grit and of cause plenty of steamy action to heat up the pages. The addictive storyline was terrific and we meet many prominent secondary characters, I’m looking forward to their stories. I highly recommend this book!

I couldn’t wait to read Sensei’s story, he seemed such an enigma I desperately wanted to know some of his secrets. We’re introduced to his family and he’s thrown through a hoop when an unexpected Mafia turns up, also he’s having trouble coping with his feelings for a sassy tomboy named Ayla/Spanner. At first he’s expecting a guy mechanic, but she soon put him in his place and as the saying goes “opposites attract” and Sensei and Ayla have a lot of - pushing and pulling, snapping n’ lazy bantering before they find a middle ground and settle into a hot n’ steamy romance.
Lots of extra exciting action going on which I don’t want to spoil. But Penance is a worthy addition to the Chicago Defiance MC series. Can’t wait for more.

I absolutely LOVE KE Osborn's writing so much, as she's simply brilliant & extremely addictive in whatever she writes. This Box Set is made up of 3 Books.
#1 Resistance:
This is Torque, the President of the Chicago Defiance MC, & Heeley's story. He's got some serious baggage & had some bad years when he meets Heeley, a feisty med student. They're totally opposites, but they have chemistry in spades though it's still a slow burn situation. So their journey is no walk in the park.
#2 Penance:
This is Sensei, the super scary enforcer of the MC, & Ayla's story. This story was off the charts intense, as both to them had emotions that they buried deep down, but I could still feel them simmering below the surface. Their chemistry was off the charts as well, so I knew they were perfect for each other, but like the first book, their journey wasn't a walk in the park either, but there was even more chaos involved with them in my opinion.
#3 Deviance
This is Trax & Mylee's story, and this one tried to bring me to my knees to be honest. Like my emotions were absolutely messed up with the realistic feel that Ms. Osborn brought to the table with Mylee's struggles. These two had a past, and with that past, they had broken hearts that had to be healed on top of new threats, so the twists were big, and f-bomb worthy. Plus, their chemistry never died, so there's that. I can't say enough about Deviance because I truly felt the pain seep out of my kindle, that's how powerful it was, so I wish I could have given this one 10 stars for real!

As president of the Defiance MC, Torque was always under pressure to keep his MC family safe. They constantly fought the Chicago Mafia still in a long-standing feud begun by the former President, his father. His brothers were his family along with his actual blood relations. Heeley didn't have much private life. Working in her family's Yogurt store and pre-med school kept her pretty busy. About the only time she had for a man was in her dreams. Until Torque and a couple of his brothers burst in the store hiding from...someone. Tatted, leathered, huge hot guys. Were they real or was she sleeping? It didn't take long for the two of them to hit it off with her sass and his alpha ways.

His life is good. As president his club is on top, his heart belongs to his woman and all is good—until some low lives try to take it away. They may succeed but he'll find them and make them pay.

This is an amazing box set which is well written and I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. This box set consists of the following:-

This is the first book in a new MC series from this talented author, and what a fantastic introduction it is. Torque is the sexy President of his MC, and Heeley is a feisty med student. These two are absolutely total opposite, yet the chemistry between them is intense, and they are perfect for each other.
#2 Penance
This is the second book in this phenomenal series, and is Sensei and Ayla’s story. These two are total opposites, as Sensei is always so cool and collected, and Ayla is a feisty tomboy after bring brought up by her dad and two brothers. Ayla / Sass certainly keeps Sensei on his toes, and when the past comes back to haunt his family, will he be able to protect them all?
#3 Deviance
This is the third book in this phenomenal series, and is Trax and Mylee’s story. In the previous novels Trax is becoming more and more dark, angry and a broken man, and now we are told why. Resistance
Torgue and Heeley's story was a fun read. Although Torgue is a softer biker than I usually like he did have his darker side. As an introduction to the MC this was a good start. We are thrown into all the troubles that are affecting them and we meet all the other guys. I'm looking forward to the continuation of the story in book two.
Penance
Sensei was an intriguing character in the previous book definitely a quiet mysterious guy. I knew it would take a special woman to catch his attention and Ayla was his perfect partner. There is more betrayal more mystery and more danger. I loved the feeling of family that is coming through strongly in the books.
Deviance
This is my favourite of the series so far, it has an emotional depth that blew me away. Trax and Mylee are a couple with a very twisty past. As a character Mylee blew me away. I don't say what her struggles are but it so well written. I enjoy the way each book is linked and how each book flows from one to the next without feeling like you'd missed something.

We are thrown into all the troubles that are affecting them and we meet all the other guys. I'm looking forward to the continuation of the story in book two.
Penance
Sensei was an intriguing character in the previous book definitely a quiet mysterious guy. I knew it would take a special woman to catch his attention and Ayla was his perfect partner. There is more betrayal more mystery and more danger. I loved the feeling of family that is coming through strongly in the books.
Deviance
This is my favourite of the series so far, it has an emotional depth that blew me away. Trax and Mylee are a couple with a very twisty past. As a character Mylee blew me away. I don't say what her struggles are but it so well written. I enjoy the way each book is linked and how each book flows from one to the next without feeling like you'd missed something.

Excellent collection of the first three books in the Chicago Defiance series, Resistance, Defiance and Deviance, bringing us ongoing stories, but focusing on one main couple at a time: Torgue, Sensei and Trax.
Each story is complete, but with threads that continue and develop alongside the romance building between each couple.
I love this collection. The tales are told with a warmth not always present in some MC books. Don't get me wrong! There is some violence and the stories bring action into play, but that does not overpower the character development and the insights provided into the men and women of the club. Each main man, is matched with a strong, interesting woman with a mind of her own, Heeley, Sass and Mylee.There is also great banter between the characters, and a sense of the past, present and promise for the future, in these well written books. This collection will send you to find more stories of the Chicago Defiance, and other books by this author.

This one is a gem of a deal with getting these all in one set. When I read them the first time I had to do it waiting for the next one. So I wanted to experience the slide into the next one right away with this. The club gives you some exceptional alphas that will each have their own dilemma and story. The woman that capture their heat are matches to what they need the piece missing and vice versa. The emotions that each one pulls on and fills are the best part with the romance that fills the need. When the wars erupt you will sometimes loose your breath. Love will be the victor though in each one.

K. E. Osborn has quickly become one of my favorite MC writers! I've already read several of her standalones in the Chicago Defiance series so this was a bit of a look back. I loved seeing the beginnings of some of my favorite couples, club Pres Torque and his Foxy lady, wise Sensei and his ball of Sass and hot-headed Trax and the woman who both broke him and put him back together, Sparx.
All three books were loaded with sweet heat and tons of the requisite MC drama but there was such heart in each. Definitely a must read collection for any MC fan!

This has the first 3 books in the series Resistance, Defiance, and Deviance,
I have loved each and every one of these books getting to know who they are and what they are about.
Torque and Heeley’s story is the first one and they meet at her family's frozen yogurt shop.
Then we have
Sensei and Spanner who are total opposites but are perfect for eachother.
The 3rd book is I have to say my favorite one
Trax and Mylee she is the daughter of another mc's president and she needs protected
You can not go wrong with this MC !!!!

This a three book set that will make you start with the series. I love this series. The MC world is so well represented.

When they say opposite attract well they couldn’t have been more right with these two! Their chemistry were perfect!

Otay y'all this box set covers the first three books Resistance, Defiance and Deviance. Seeing these three bada*s bikers all fall in there on ways is so much fun... I really thought noone could beat Heeleys mouth but when you meet Spanner you know from the jump. Mylee is a little more reserved too me but just as good as the other two. Torgue, Sensei and Trax all deserve the love they get from these ladies and its so worth the read.

This box set is the first three books in the Chicago Defiance series, and was my introduction to this author. I found it to be a wonderful way to meet the characters of the series. I found myself drawn into how they live their lives through Love, Loyalty, and Brotherhood. I look forward to reading more by this author.

The Chicago Defiance Series is hands down one of my absolute favorite MC Series! Full of ALL the alpha goodness, some seriously strong females && so much drama! Its one wild ride that will have you white knuckling your kindle & swooning all over the place 😍. I honestly couldn't/can't get enough of this series! I cannot recommend it enough❣

Loved each one of these 3 stores! The Defiance MC sucks you in and you never want to leave. There’s so much going on that you don’t want to put the book down until to get to the end. Love, Loyalty, Brotherhood

This box set includes the first three books in the Chicago Defiance MC. The club members are brothers loyal to each other and the club. The painful pasts and troubles some of them have to overcome make for a great story. I enjoyed this box set and recommend it.

Reading this box set was my first time reading this author. I was not disappointed!! I loved all three of these stories and I loved her writing style. I will definitely be reading more of her books!!
