What Kindle Reviewers write about her:
"Wow hot at every page. Heart stoping, fear raging, mind blowing wonderful."
"I'm a true fan of Ms. Cardello. I ran on to her first book a few years back and have been hooked ever since. I could go on and on about the story like of this book, but I'm not. All of her books are total page turners, unique, heart wrenching, and I love them all. There isn't two alike in the bunch and I feel like i know the characters personally. I personally read 97 authors books. And I buy every book they put out. This author is in my top 10. Great job and keep them coming."
"Love this series. Got me to start reading again. I look forward to the next book. Thank you for giving me the love of reading back."
Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then came full circle and moved back to New England. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.
She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm or connecting with her readers online.

This kept my interest for the most part. It was much like a soap opera or Lifetime movie with a rushed ending. Julia was sweet, but Gio was a bit of an ass. I'm hoping the next book will be better.
3 stars for this one 🌟🌟🌟
HOME TO ME: NICK
Series is getting better, but there still are some inane aspects. Cousin Maddy is a little immature, and it's hard to believe a player and screw-up like Nick can change, but his and Rena's story has quite the sizzle. However, it's the secrets and treachery surrounding the mother of the Andrade brothers that is helping make this series more interesting, and I find myself wanting to see how everything plays out with the rest of this family.
Close to 4 🌟🌟🌟🌟
MAXIMUM RISK: MAX
Most of this book is good, but there are parts that continue to be somewhat unbelievable, which caused me to give an eyeroll or two. Just like his brothers, Max is an ass, who is reformed by Tara, and their relationship goes from 0 to 100 in record time, as does the heat between them. In the last chapter here, part of the mystery surrounding the brothers' seemingly cold-hearted mother is revealed, leaving the reader with the need to get the full answer, as well as seeing how the remaining two Andrade siblings play into the story.
Again, near 4 🌟🌟🌟🌟
SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY: LUKE
Consistent with this series, Luke and Cassie's story was good, but still had aspects that were unrealistic, most notably, the instant love between these two. More is revealed about the mystery surrounding the Andrade brothers' cold-hearted mother, but there still appears to be more, so for me, on to the next book in order to get the entire story.
3+ stars 🌟🌟🌟
LOVING GIGI: KANE
No surprises here with this couple... instant attraction, he believes they shouldn't be together, but of course they can't deny the chemistry. A lot of back and forth before they predictably finally get together.
3 stars 🌟🌟🌟
GENERALLY THIS BOX SET is a series about rich brothers with commitment issues... nothing new, right? Instant attraction and sizzle 🔥. There's a very similar pattern in all the couples' relationships: the guys are all a bit arrogant and asses in the beginning, the women are for the most part sweet and smart, and the guys realize they have never had to work so hard to get a woman before... must be love?
While all the books held my interest, there were aspects that were unrealistic, making this more of an adult fairytale, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but which kept it from being great. The "big family" thing was fun, but also a bit over the top at times.
It was disappointing that the secrets surrounding the brothers' mother weren't fully resolved and it was never revealed who actually caused her demise. This was an interesting part of the story and was the root of the problems among the brothers. It was just dropped and not even mentioned in the last book.
All in all this was pretty good, just not quite up to earning a 4 star rating.
3.5 stars. Overall enjoyable and kept me entertained. I totally recommend reading the prequel RECIPE FOR LOVE before starting this box set. It sets up a lot of what happens later in this series. A various mix of characters with the heroes all wealthy and mostly used to getting what they want. The heroines are a mixed bunch with some I loved and others who were too immature or just not what I wanted. The overall ethos of this series is the family strength and love that flows through, even with the fact some of these people are flawed. Lies, deceit and plain spite are part of their lives but humour, fortitude, family strength and the with the love of the right person by their side, it will be able to be dealt with. I first read a fair few of this authors books through my library many years ago but all my reviews posted from then are no longer available. Finding this author has joined Kindle Unlimited, I am treating myself to a reread of the box set.
I love the premise of this plot - family is everything. And the way to bring family together is through love. Each of the Andrade boys, whose dad was George but has passed, and his daughter with another woman find love and discover strength they didn't know they had, because of family. Patrice was truly evil incarnate, though. And the mystery around the ricin never really got explained. I am very interested in the next group of cousins. I WILK say, though that Maddy can be difficult to like at times - she really needs to listen to the words and feelings of others and not just her own.
This is a collection of stories that will stay in my head for some time. There were many situations that provoked thought. The bitterness Patrice held onto for so many years was so tragic. The experience destroyed Patrice to the core. I believe hatred mostly distroys the individual who hates and is not worth all the pain that it causes them, or the people around them. The hate she displayed throughout each story was destructive to the lives of her children. However, despite everything, they all developed beautiful relationships and lived fulfilled lives because they focused on love and forgiveness. Throughout this boxset of stories, there are memorable dialogues. The doctor's actions towards Patrice remain unclear, however, which disappoints me.
I am in love. Larger than life. Hard to resist. Impossible to ignore. The Andrades are delicious reading. I have read every book that has been published in the Andrades series and like a fine wine, they keep getting better. Ruth Cardello keeps my ereader burning up with her great characters.
Loving Gigi - Loving Gigi is a beautiful story of acceptance, family and love. Gigi stole my heart from the very first page. Her yearning to finally have the family she always craved broke my heart. I just wanted to hug her and tell her everything would work out fine.
Gio, Nick, Luke, Max and Gigi were children of a father who left his 4 boys with their odious sociopath of a mother (his wife) to go to Venice, Italy and start a new life with his lover and daughter. This is their stories. They were all brainwashed and traumatized to hate their fathers side of the family, the Andrades. With the love of 4 extraordinary women and the brother of one, the siblings were brought into the light and the loving arms of the Andrade family.
This was an excellent boxed set I loved every story and enjoyed all the brothers As they found true love for themselves Even though they had to face some hard truths about their mother they found that family is important and it should come first The author gave realistic views of people even if you are billionaires you can live a troubled live but love can overcome it Great storylines foe each brother and their sister You don't go wrong with this box set It is a page turner
THE ANDRADE SERIES contains stand-alone stories with interconnecting threads. Each story is as good as the next and I'm honestly not sure which story from this family is my favorite.
Each book has well developed characters, great plot lines and of course sexy times. I would classify each as a classic romance.
I absolutely recommend this author and this box set. Ruth Cardell is absolutely a "one-click" author for me.
What a great collection, hot sexy billionaires all just waiting for the right woman to turn their lives around. All these men need guidance and love to change their lives and each find it in the most unlikely places. This collection is great each book as good if not better than the last, there is always a lot of background story going on not just the romance to keep you interested.
This was a great series. Loved every one of them. If you love rich men getting together with not so rich sweet women you will love this series. The rich men come from a BIG Italian family and the women come from different walks of life. Ruth Cardello is a great author and I am still questioning why it took me so long to pick up her books again.
This terrific series has fed my addiction beautifully. As each book began I was filled with anticipation and as each epilogue came up it was satisfaction personified. From this you must realize that I highly recommend this series and happily give it 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Each book is a stand alone but don’t do it read from book 1 to book 5 in order!!!!!!
time consuming set of books but, if you are all about love and family and hea's .... these will be right up your book alley... this series i will say is full of hope for a family brothers to find the loves that match them and the desire to be brothers who find their way back to being brothers who care and show their love .... very good read ... but as i said time consuming to read..
Each storyline got better. My enjoyment in the characters and their interactions with each other made me laugh and sometimes shout with disappointment when they made predictable decisions. I read nonstop until I finished all five books. I was sorry to leave the Andrade's family.
I wasn't sure I wanted to read 5 stories about the same family. Each story was unique as the brothers are uniquely different characters and so are there To be wives. I really appreciate it the humor Between The 4 brothers Especially some of the lions in the last story.
Another great series about the Andrade family in the US. Each book follows romance of one of the four brothers, and their half sister. Continuation between stories so read in the order given in this box set! Thoroughly enjoyed each one and the revelation of the back history of this group of brothers, their deceased father, and their “ evil”, manipulative mother!
Liked all books except Luke and Cassie 's first half .. Luke being compassion in nature shouldn't get someone like so childish trait as of Cassie... It gets ok after she comes to NY
Rest all books are captivating.. waiting for next series to somehow connect the Andrade Clan
I love romance series and this is an excellent collection! I enjoyed each book. I wish more stories came in a collection like this! These stories and steamy and charming and totally 5 🌟!! Can't wait to move on to the Barringtons next!
This was a great set of books that I would recommend to anyone. Each book was a great read and I looked forward to finishing one and starting the next. I kept thinking the books couldn't continue being better than the last but I was not disappointed. Characters from previous books were seen throughout each book. Very well written.
I love love loved this collection. Such interesting characters with an amazing storyline made this a must read for me. Well written and entertaining Stories which I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.
There is nothing I love more than a family that gets matched one by one and this was full of twists and turns. Some people like to read self help books. Some love to read for fun. I am glad I am the latter and glad I have books like these.
Love this whole big family! All the matchmaking, the years and the laughter. I can't wait to read on with the other characters and hear from some of the old ones too.
Fascinating, intriguing and additive to read. Thanks you for the series. The worst part is when the last book ended. I would have like to see the exchange when all the retrieved item return to Gigi and her mom.
I had read all the books in this series earlier but they were just as intriguing the second time around. My heart still went out to the brothers and I understood the anger and pain of the sister.
They grew up in a dysfunctional family and need to get to know their brothers. You find out their secrets as they find the love of their lives. The characters just all seem to go together including their sister.
I couldn’t put this series down! I loved reading about each one of the brothers and their journeys to find love. Lots of twists and turns and just pulled me in! Another great series by Ruth! Can’t wait to read the next one .
