The summer of 1980 has not ended well for the small farming community of Meyer’s Knob in Central New York State. Four friends now stand as witness to the deadly powers of the curse of The Witch’s Backbone.Despite all their efforts, the curse lives on and their darkening nightmare is not nearly over. But even in the midst of their grief, they continue to search for salvation, a search that takes them not only to their local parish priest, but deeper into the world of witchcraft.Meanwhile, the budding teenage witch who tried to help them before, finds herself being watched by an increasing number of crows and begins to suspect the murder is acting as the eyes and ears for the evil hag’s spreading curse. She too must act and find a way to save not only herself, but her family and friends from further bloodshed before all of them meet a murderous fate.

i enjoyed this book a lot - a very good follow-up to Part 1: The Curse. There were a lot of twists and turns for the cursed kids. Every time I would think surely she isn’t going to do this in the story - yep she went there ! I felt like I personally knew the characters, i was very invested in their outcomes. See what lengths the kids have to go to in order to attempt to break the curse. I hope we hear more from the people of Barnesville ! If you like good storytelling and a supernatural element, this series is just for you !
