This is an exciting crime/romance story by Leigh Fleming. This author is very talented and builds an exciting story quickly and yet develops the romance naturally and slowly. It’s very well written with a page turning plot.
Vanessa Barczak is a reporter for a local paper in West Virginia. She’s doing articles on old courthouses and other mundane things to have a job. She was fired for exposing a Senator’s ring of sexual favors for hire in Texas without enough proof. She hopes to get back to the big city and more exciting assignments someday.
When a young girl is abducted right in front of her, the FBI is called in to help the local police find the girl. While she was filming the courthouse, she inadvertently caught the abduction.
Special Agent Bo Azar is supervising the investigation. The attraction between the two characters is immediate, but neither of them wants to admit it or handle the complications of a relationship, at this time. They verbally spar and the sparks begin to fly.
The case continues and then the plot takes an unexpected turn, in true Fleming style!
That’s the setup, I won’t spoil this wonderful story for you. Just be sure to grab a copy to read for yourself. You won’t regret it, it’s thrilling and marvelous with a lot of unexpected revelations! Enjoy, I certainly did!

Kept Hidden is the second book in the Hidden series. I am really loving reading about these top notch FBI agents falling in love while desperately trying not to. Vanessa is a reporter who is looking for her next break. She is an eyewitness to a child abduction. Bo is the FBI agent assigned to the case. Their first meeting is less than cordial, but the sparks of attraction are obvious. Both are investigating the case from their respective jobs, often intersecting on clues. Vanessa is able to get bits of information from Bo that propel her investigation. As the facts twist and turn in the case, the relationship continues to grow. Through all of the emotional turmoil Vanessa struggles with, Bo is there strong and powerful. Bo is smitten and realizes a relationship with a reporter is going to be difficult, but his heart doesn’t want to listen. Thank you Leigh Fleming for another amazing story!

Scary romance
I really enjoyed this suspenseful nook. Sexy FBI agent,
mixed with a desperate reporter, trying to get a key story, is a great mix. Love the romance, tension, and intriguing storyline. The main character, Vanessa, is fun, sassy, and full of spirit, but gets herself into lots of trouble. I like being in the center of FBI action , especially when they are handsome and single. Great job Leigh Fleming ; can't wait to read the next one. I did this as a free book from the author, and an giving a honest and unbiased review of this book. I recommend this as a fun and exciting read.

This was a great romantic suspense novel. Vanessa witnesses a kidnapping and Bo is the FBI special agent on the case. She is sassy and flirty with him and he doesn't know quite how to deal with her. Great character development and unexpected twists in the story line. Loved this book and looking forward to more.
