Overall, this was a very bad collection. It turned out that the main reason I bought the book (the Asher story) was the best of the bunch. Besides that, there were maybe three or four more that were worth the price. The rest were either poorly written, had a fell-of-the-cliff ending, or were just plain bad. I think the main issue was that the majority of authors were first-timers or were still "finding" their voice. Avoid this unless you _have_ to read everything Asher writes (like myself).
