This book in all its simplicity, is one of the most empowering books I’ve ever read. I’ve purchased and sent copies to no less than 6 people. Ms. McElhaney writes about the delicate balance between the hard and the soft, the struggle and the peace and it is a beautiful thing.

This was awesome!
"I am the clutter in your dreamcatcher, the shadow creeping in your peripheral, the tapping of nails against darkened windowpanes. I am the reminder that around here, your dead never stay buried for long." This quote right here is life itself, sounds like the blurb of a book or a movie.
There are parts of this collection that moved me and that I could completely understand, that explained some of the pain I have experienced. Others like the quote above make for exceptional reading and are phenomenal.

This collection of poetry is really great and wonderfully written. I loved how the poems took the ancient Greek mythological women and gave them all stories and showed them as the women we can all become. I loved all the female power in this collection <3

A bit trite
These poems are a bit trite for me, though I do enjoy the sentiment, "The moon said to me, 'You do not have to be full in order to shine'."

These poems spoke to my spirit. I will recommend this book to anyone interested in the witchy and feminine.
