He won’t let anything stand in their way…not even her.
Alison Garrett doesn’t do relationships. Especially with a younger man. After her heart’s been trampled on in the past, she’s reluctant to give the handsome Navy SEAL she met a shot at anything other than friendship. A barbeque with friends, couple of beers, and rock-hard abs aren’t enough to change her mind. Even if he does ooze sex from his pores.
Navy SEAL Evan “Flip” Jenkins is used to getting any woman he wants. Except her. The strawberry blonde beauty he meets at a party catches his interest, yet eludes him. Their innocent flirting can’t conceal the way he wants her—big time. He’s down for the thrill of a chase, but what if she doesn’t want to be caught? When Evan’s SEAL team is dispatched on a hostage rescue mission in enemy territory, Evan is critically injured, never letting Alison know his feelings. Will he get a chance to return to the woman he’s fallen for? And more importantly—will she have him?
SEALed with a Kiss, a stand-alone romance, is book two in the Alpha SEALs series.
This is the 2nd book I read by Makenna Jameison. I loved ❤ this book's storyline. I loved ❤ the hot & steamy scenes. I loved ❤ Alison's character. I felt sorry for Alison, because I could relate to her. I loved ❤ Evan's character. I felt sorry for Evan. I loved ❤ the ending. Awesome job Ms. Jameison.
This is about the youngest of the team. Our hero has met the heroine a few times since his boss met his girlfriend. Since then, he's had a major crush on her and can't get her out of his head. Once he starts to make his move, she deflects and doesn't want anything to do with him. One of the major reasons why she doesn't want anything to do with him is his reputation as a lady's man. The problem with that, is since he's met her, he doesn't want anyone but her.
Our heroine wants to get married, get a house and have a few kids. However, she feels all these SEALs she's been around only want one thing - sex. She wants more than that and the young one dogging her heals just proves her point - even after he tells her he wants the same things - but she thinks he's just too young.
However, after a few times of him helping her out of some tight situations, she starts to realize what he's been saying is the truth. However, will she keep pulling away or will she finally admit they want the same things in life? When our hero's injured during a mission will the push them together or pull them apart even more?
This was another great book in the series. You really did feel for the hero because no one took him seriously. I know from experience, because both my husband and I don't seem to age much, no one takes us seriously. However, the stubbornness of the heroine does get on you because what she does, keep walking out of situations with the hero, does get old after awhile.
Other than that, the plot keeps going and there are some surprises. Well done to the author and can't wait for the next one.
Finished my second Makenna Jameison SEALS novel and it was just as good as the first. Continuing on with the same SEAL group as #1, this book is about the youngest of the group, Evan, who at 27 yrs old, gets ribbed by the other guys about being the "baby" of the unit. He finds himself uncharacteristically attracted to Allison, who is the best friend of his squad leader, Ice's woman, Rebecca. His attraction is different as he finds himself thinking long-term which is just out of character for this love 'em and leave 'em SEAL. Unfortunately she had her heart badly broken 2 years earlier when she was madly in love with a man who was younger than she was. He had told her that she was the "one" for him only to turn about and decide that he needed to see the world before settling down and for her to not wait for him. Evan is 3 years younger than her so she is adamant that they would never work out even though she is very attracted to him. She guards her heart while he patiently chiseled away at the walls she tries so hard to keep up. It's a beautiful story to watch unfold but it's not until he is critically injured on one of their deployments that she realizes that she loves him enough to overcome her age difference fears. Any of you that love Alpha heroes and steamy romance won't want to miss this series! Me, I'm starting book 3 as soon as I'm thru writing this review!
Sealed with a Kiss (Alpha Seals Book 2) is by Makenna Jameison. It is a cute little book that makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. It is very realistic and the characters are like people you meet every day. Evan “Flip” Jenkins was a 27-year-old Navy Seal. He was at his SEAL team member’s home for a picnic. Patrick Foster and his girlfriend Rebecca were hosting this get-together. Evan was watching a beautiful redheaded friend of Rebecca’s. She was just the girl he was looking for, or so he hoped. Evan was tired of the one night stands life he had been living. He was ready to settle down and get married and have children. He just hadn’t found the right girl yet. Alison was the redhead. She was thirty and not into younger men. Her latest boyfriend had been younger than she was and he had taken off to see the world. She figured Evan was younger than she was and just knew he was still in the one-night-stand mode. Alison was a nurse and owned her own townhouse. She definitely did not want a man who didn’t want a house and children. She decided to steer clear of Evan. Was there any hope for the two of them? This book is a great read.
Sweet and hot in a great story with characters that are real. Makenna has a style that shows the vulnerable side of the strong Alpha male. Makes for a great read and panty dropping sex.
Book 2 is just as awesome as the first one! Ali and Evan are sweet and perfect! Great story line (who doesn't love a hot SEAL), romantic and plenty of sexy time! Can't wait to read the next book in the series!
DNF!!! I simply couldn't. At around the 59% mark,on my kindle, I thought we could finally move forward.......but ohhhh! Noooo.....the heroine had to go back onto her ' he is to young' wagon......and on and on she went..
Pretty good, but it took WAY too long for Allison to pull the stick out of her arse and get over the whopping 3-year age difference. Repetitive at times and lots of inner thought monologues brought the enjoyment down for me too.
Alison is an ER nurse who is done dating younger men who aren't ready to settle down, yet Evan (a SEAL from Patrick's team) sets his sights on her. Evan is done with the singles scene and wants the stability he could see with Alison, yet she's too busy running for them to discuss it. Overall, I really liked this book but I was frustrated that they Unlike book #1 of this series, this one did have an epilogue. But I still wish A nice thing about continuing with this series was we had little glimpses of Patrick and Rebecca's continued dating life (Book #1). I read the ebook, which I got from Lendle. I look forward to more in this series. 4/5

I really liked the first book in the series, which was free, and I'm really glad I got this second book for free. Evan was great, Alison was a moron. I understand that in romances there tends to be some sort of misunderstanding/miscommunication that is somewhat necessary to move the plot along and usually both parties are at least partially culpable for the confusion. 3/4 through the book and I was waiting for something to happen; a real, actual problem to come up, but it never does!!!!! The "problem" is all in Alison's head and this entire plot could be taken care of with one simple, not even awkward or problematic discussion. Alison just needed to have one mature, adult, conversation with him and there would have been no issues. So, that's not enough to drive a story line for me.
In SEALed with a Kiss Navy SEAL Evan “Flip” Jenkins finds Alison Garrett the perfect combination of sexy woman and full of challenge. She is relationship shy due to a previous bad experience.
The chase is full of sexy fun and determination as Evan keeps accepting friendship to get close to Alison. It takes an unexpected deployment, an injury for Alison to realize how special Evan is and for them to find a happy ever after ending.
She had her heart broken. She was going to find an older man but he was so good looking and charming. She had to get him out of her mind but he kept doing nice things for her. Then she let him make love to her and pushed him away. Then she almost lost him but he came back and she found out younger guys aren't all bad.
Alpha Seals book 1&2 are great reads. Would like to have Chris' and Brent's stories. Easy to follow plot, not slow. Good balance of dialogue and character thoughts. Highly recommend.
Ali and Evan's story was good. I love reading these books but sometimes want more from the author. I feel she leaves things out but it could be me wanting more.
I do love the series and its characters. I will continue to read the,
An emotionally fabulous book. Leaves the reader wanting more. Meeting the perfect person for you is always the hardest part of looking and finding. You always have one person that likes to be a matchmaker. Come find out what the Seals do.
As the first. It's seldom common for the second book in a series to be as good as the first when the premise is somewhat different. This author has overcome that issue and I'll be continuing this series asap
SEALed with a Kiss Alpha SEALs, Book 2 By: Makenna Jameison Narrated by: Sophie James
I enjoyed this sweet & spicy romance, it is well written with interesting storylines that grabbed my attention right from the start and held it right to the end. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored Evan, he know what he wanted and he was determined to get it. He is tired of playing the field and is looking to settle down with one girl, he only thing is the one he has his eyes on doesn’t want to get involved. But he is up for the challenge and the chase. Alison does not want to get involved with guys who are players, she has learned her lesson, she needs guys who are on the same page as her, ones who are in it for the long haul. She meets Evan at her friends house but he is too young for her, but he does not see a problem with it. I liked how everything plays out in this book, it is plotted out nicely and there is never a dull moment. There is plenty of drama, angst, a thrilling and suspenseful moment, heartfelt moments and once Allison got past her issues the start of a wonderful romance. Makenna Jameison thank you for this great story & the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Sophie James is a talented narrator and voice artist. She does a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work, she captures the characters emotions and projects it into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧
I felt bad for Evan. He did everything he could to win Alison over, but she was so stuck in her "he's too young" mindset, she couldn't appreciate it. By the last third of the book, I wanted him to move on to another woman - who would appreciate what a great guy he was.
She never even asked him how old he was. Not that there's a huge difference between 25 and 27 (or 30, for that matter), as a Navy SEAL, Evan likely experienced more than most men twice his age. The fact Ali led him on time and time again, only to toss him aside because he was "too young" began to piss me off.
And leaving after they'd spent the night together because she heard a phone message? Without even asking him about it? Ali was the one who needed to grow up.
I agree with other reviewers in regards to the excessive exposition and inner thoughts. Ali blushed/face flushed every other page and the constant reminders of his desire for a wife/yard and her concern of his age were repeated far too often.
I won't be continuing with this series.

SEALed with a Kiss Alpha SEALs, Book 2 By: Makenna Jameison Narrated by: Sophie James
I love a good military romance and if you add in a taboo, it's all the better! Evan is home on leave. With his friends finding their soulmates, he is now seeing what he is missing in life. When Alison comes around, he knows in an instant, she is his forever. Alison, being older than Evan and knowing his playboy reputation is not interested in his attention. But the more he pursues, will she be able to resist? And what will happen when he leaves? Is she willing to risk her heart? I love Makenna Jameison's style of writing. Her heroes are swoon worthy, and Evan is hard to not fall for. Alison's hesitancy is something I can understand and her immediate reactions to all situations realistic. Their banter and Evan's persistence is endearing!
Sophie James just enhances this great story with her fabulous narration. I love her voice, so easy on the ears and so many distinguishable voices. She is a wonderful storyteller brought this book to life!
First book was okay to good. This one was a disappointment. I lose interest Fast when the woman is whiney insecure and...This won't work but lets a sleep together then this won't work, thanx for the big I but I. Hanged my mind n u have to go. Not all woman are this pathetic and the ones that are, aren't usually written about. I will give this author one more chances cause the first book was descent. I'll let you know what I think of book #3.
He's a sexy junk and looking to settle down, she's a hottie that doesn't believe that he's mature enough for her.
How do you prove that you are the one for her? He's got his work cut out for him, and that doesn't even count the missions he and his team get sent out on. It takes a near death experience to solve his problem.
This is another great story by Make na Jameison. The intensity of the two falling in love was awesome. I enjoyed this book very much and would recommend it to anyone.
I usually liked these types of books but this one so missed the mark. 75% of the book was no story line. Every point of view from Ali was I can’t see him, he’s too young (2-3 years btw), no no no then jumps to conclusions and ugh. She was terrible. Don’t bother.
Good ,hot and very sweet. Alk the best things in their story. Getting burned by her ex. Ali wasn't sure she wanted to go down that road again. But the alternative was losing flip.
What a good read this is. It has just the right balance of romance, intrigue, action and sex scenes. I hate when a book is over done with any of these. This one is a hit.
