Fated Mates Anthology! Hole mole!! You guys, you really get your .99 cents worth!! We are talking full blown stories!!! A lot these stories have over 15 chapters! That’s huge!! Usually Anthologies have short stories and prequels but most of these are full blown stories!! Squeek!!*girl fanning*!!! In no order, I read my first story, and I will update as I read.

This story takes place in a world where the shifters are the minority and hiding from humans. The humans have agency’s that hunt shifters and cage them to masters for a good amount of money. We meet Lorelei a beautiful but deadly siren who has been searching for her long-lost love Keegan over 3 yrs and finally gets to find out he has been cage again. She sets on a mission to free him but things are so different now. First of all Keegan is not Keegan anymore but Aiden. As a Phoenix shifter you will reborn at a very crucial timing and all your past memories will be deleted as it never existed. IT was sad seeing Aiden/Keegan struggle especially when he doesn’t recognize Lorelei. There’s a lot of shifters characters that are part of the captivity world who are hiding and looking for sanctuary. Douglas is one of my new fave’s, a kelpie and Mel sassiness is hilarious. I love the bickering between Lorelei and Mel, and Aiden’s new love interest is Xander another phoenix! Things get awkward, steamy and dangerous for all of them! This story will continue!! Leaves on a cliffhanger but don’t fear! Book two Sanctuary is almost out!! Can’t wait!

Sassy and Hilarious! We meet Sierra a cayote bounty shifter who is tracking down her next target: Remy Black. Once she finds him things get crazy. Two additional love interest appear for Sierra and the shenanigans begin! She starts this emotional connection and sexual relationship with both of them. Kolya and Grisha educate her what and who they are and where they come from. There is an altercation with Kolya and some other shifters like them and is reveal that Kolya is outcast for being bisexual. Elaina will have none of that and challenges the Alpha for respect and his position! omg! its sets her on a journey on how to become a shifter herself, love and self discovery. Get ready, there is a new Alpha in town and shes ready. She wont take no for an answer! Her goals are set and her boys are right next to her. Speaking of boys, she does add a new love intereste Grisha~the snow leopard shifter! sexy as hell! i freaking loved it!! it has a sweet epilogue that sets the events for the next book in the series. i pre-order book two!!

The jungle book harem! raawr!! It was fun and intriguing from the beginning. Nadia is the only human raised in the jungle by a pack of wolves shifters. She loves it even if she cant have the one person who makes her swoon; her adoptive brother Rhet. Things even get more interesting when two additional shifters Gage (panther) and Xander (bear) come warning Nadia about the dangerous tiger Khan looking for for her. Things get super hot fast between all three. Rhet finally makes a move! yaaaz! 😘 No cliffhangers, just happy delicious ending!

Whilst on a trip to Siberia Elania gets lost exploring. Frozen and close to death shes found by Gavri & Kolya. Little does she know that apart from being two hot guys they are also wolf shapeshifters. They enlighten her on a world she knew nothing about. She has to decide if she wants to go back to her old life or if she wants to pursue a life with these two new guys. This book started off slowly (which i liked) and i initially thought it was going to be a shifter love story and that would be it. Yes its has that in it but its more than that. Theres also family, acceptance, loyalty, friendship as well as love. It makes for a fabulous book that i cant wait to see where it goes? I hope to a series or at least a follow up book?

I read Captivity by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. The story is a fast paced read, and it's packed with magical creatures. Both of these authors are new to me, so I don't know if this world they've created is an existing one or something brand new, but it's certainly intriguing. I love that so many creatures I don't normally come across in paranormal romance are included here. I wasn't quite sure where everything was headed and was actually having a hard time with fated mates angle, or what I considered a lack of that angle, until things started to click into place on the romance side of this tale. I'll definitely be checking out whatever comes next for the terrific characters that we're introduced to in this story. This one does end with a cliffy, so be forewarned. Even so, I do recommend the story.

Somehow, I had completely missed the possibility of gryphons as a shifter race. And now that I’ve been entertained by the possibility, I’m left wondering why there aren’t more books about them. I really liked seeing this take on Fated Mates with Callie and Nick. Callie’s world has just been turned upside down and she doesn’t understand what she’s feeling. Nick’s been ordered to resist the pull of Fate and he’s discovering that’s a lot harder than it sounds. That situation made for lots of wonderful angsty drama. Add in all the political intrigue, Power of Three, and bound sisterhood, and I wasn’t anywhere ready for this story to be over when it was done. I’m hoping we’ll get to see more stories from this world in the future.

This review is for CAPTIVITY by Molly Zenk. It is part of the FATED MATES ANTHOLOGY. CAPTIVITY is about a reborn phoenix shifter named Aiden that recently escaped from his owner, Madame Faberge. He is being sought by a siren named Lorelei that is an agent at the Phoenix Location Agency. Lorelei knew Aiden is his previous life as Kegan.

Lorelei and Kegan have a fascinating history. When Aiden is reborn, he struggles to remember his previous life. My heart went out to Lorelei for all she went through to find Kegan and to have been forgotten. CAPTIVITY is an appealing story with interesting twists and unexpected outcomes. The characters had a lot of depth.

This is the first story that I have read by Molly Zenk. I enjoyed her writing style. CAPTIVITY ends with a cliff hanger. I am interested in reading the next book to see what happens. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I love shifters! This is going to be a phenomenal boxed set of PNR stories! I just read Julie Trettel’s book, "UNDER A HARVEST MOON" :D This fan-freaking-tastic must read is the awesome backstory for this author’s series, the Westin Pack, that fills us in on the Alphas & Pack Mothers and successors over the years :D A wonderful stand-alone story that explains about ‘Fated Mates’ & their Pack of family and friends, plus the almost enviable life and loves in a peaceful community! ... With larger than life, relatable characters that practically jump off the pages, witty dialogue & fantastic attention-to-detail, plus surprise twists & turns, readers will be engaged & turning pages like crazy, like I did! :D ... After release day comes soon & I've received my own verified purchased Kindle box set, I will read the other stories & then come back to update this review :D ... Even tho I volunteered to beta read this author's installment in advance, it was without any outside influences, and these are my honest feelings! ... Plus, I had already preordered my own Kindle book set to keep forever :) So yes, I highly recommend this to all adult fans of fiction! I can't wait to read more soon!

All kinds of stories with a wide range of stories to choose from, with enough difference in plot lines and characters that you don't feel like you're reading the same shifter story over and over. There’s also varying levels of how explicit the individual stories are, so all readers will find something that appeals to them.

For instance, WOLVES OF THE WEST by Crystal Ash is a high heat, MMF story with graphic but light-hearted sex between all three mates, including MM contact, while Aria Adams’ HER RAVEN MATES has more heart (and mystery) than heat. There’s no real sex shown to the reader. It’s more focused on getting to know each other. If you’re used to how scorching hot Adams’ books usually are, keep that in mind so you aren’t expecting something that isn’t there.

I like the unusual shifters in HER RAVEN MATES. The three brothers are raven shifters and Eileen is a swan shifter. It’s cute, but some story-line conflicts bothered me, such as, what Eileen should and shouldn’t know. Since age 7, she’s been a swan for 23 ½ hours a day with no other contact than her stepmother. Being a human for only 30 minutes per day doesn’t leave time to learn about the world around her. She knows things she shouldn’t. For instance, she’s never been past 4th grade and doesn’t know what peanut butter, jeans or bagels are, but she can recognize when someone is doing an imitation of Sigmund Freud and grasp the meaning? Also, the way magic is used out in the open, how don’t humans see it? All this took me out of the story. The parts are there, but it left me feeling flat.

MOON MIST goes into interesting directions with vampires. A dying cop is turned and there’s all kinds of fall out. Two years on, her family isn’t giving up. They’re doing everything to find her and have the military background and connections to keep the pressure on. It gets into how Becca, and other vampires, must navigate a modern world with DNA, facial recognition, and cameras—all that high tech and CSI stuff. Meanwhile, Becca struggles with her new undead life. Is it worth it without the people you love? How DO vampires and shifters keep from getting outed when there are so many cameras around?

There’s more to these stories but there were just some of the things that caught my interest.

Eileen is an orphaned 18 year old who was raised by her step-mother since she was 7 years old. Bran, Vir, and Morwain are three brothers who happen to be raven shifters. An evil magic user has placed a curse upon Eileen, who has to remain in her swan form for 23.5 hours a day, and Bran, Vir, and Morwain has to remain in their raven forms daily from dawn to dusk.

When Eileen runs and errand for her step-mother, she comes across 3 mortally and magically injured ravens, whom she can't help but save. While the warlock continues to elude the 3 brothers, Eileen always finds herself in time to continuously save the ravens. When Eileen's life is in peril, Bran, Vir, and Morwain come to her rescue. Once the spell is broken, Eileen, Bran, Vir, and Morwain are all able to remain in human forms and change shape under their will. Eileen is still in danger from a previous deal. The more time Eileen and Bran, Vir, and Morwain spend together, the more their lives are entwined. Will the three brothers find a way to break the contract looming over Eileen or will they lose her forever?

I received and arc from Ms. Adams, and this is my honest review. I highly enjoyed this short story. All of the characters were filled with depth and emotions (whether for good or evil). i found Eileen to be an innocent young lady who believes in honesty and integrity in others. Bran, Vir, and Morwain are well-rounded brothers who work together as private investigators. Eileen's step-mother is conniving and very deceiving. The story was engaging and held me captive until the end. Ms. Adams weaved a tale of love, lost, innocence, and evil. I found her Raven Mates to be the beginning of a wonderful tale or series. Even though this is a RH tale, it was very clean. I highly recommend this tale to those 18+ due to violence and some sexual content. Thank you Ms. Adams for allowing me to read your story. I look forward to reading the remaining of the stories in this book.

While I did preorder this book, I received an ARC for Her Raven Mates by Aria Adams in advance so my review is for that story.  As with all my reviews of ARCs, I won't include spelling/grammar/continuity errors as I expect them to be fixed before publication.

Her Raven Mates is  very loosely based on the Swan Princess story.  It is set in the current era, but in a world where all the myths and monsters are real; kind of like Supernatural.

Eileen, the heroine, has been cursed to live the majority of her day as a swan.  She only gets 1/2 hour each day as a human.  She lives with her stepmother who is obviously evil and made a pact with a demon.  Eileen rescues 3 ravens from a magical attack, but leaves before they reveal themselves to be human too.

Vir, Bran and Morwain, the heroes, are 3 cursed raven shifters.  While they are definitely brave, these three aren't completely Alpha material either; it's often a conundrum of Aria Adams/Katie Douglass stories.  These three know they want to help, have magical powers, but they also worry a lot about food; it had me laughing a few times.

The resolution of the drama is actually kind of anticlimactic, but again made me laugh so it worked.

There is no sex in this book, however I'm going to put a trigger warning due to the demon molesting Eileen and an attempted rape; the fact that it's a smoke demon doesn't negate the need for the warning.

There is very little language and no actual sex in the story.  There is no OW/OM drama and a happy ending.  It is an odd (not a bad thing, just different from what I expected) little story that I read straight through and enjoyed.  I recommend it.

I received the opportunity to read Her Raven Mates by Aria Adams. Her Raven Mates is a reverse harem, paranormal romance. Eileen is only human for a half hour each day, but the day she saves three ravens is the day her life will change. When she realizes the ravens are male shifters who only want to help her, she gains freedom from her stepmother like she’s never imagined before. But now her nightmares are threatening to tear everything away. Can Eileen be saved before her nineteenth birthday?

This was really a lovely romance with a few twists, a darker edge, and a fascinating love. Eileen, Bran, Morwain, and Vir have a strong connection, and they all have different strengths that they need to defeat the darkness that they encounter. Eileen is sweet, innocent, scared at times, but she’s still brave and wants to fight for herself and her ravens. I loved that each of the males had a different magical strength, had a curiosity that helped them find answers, and were completely drawn to Eileen. I loved that danger was after the four of them from lots of different directions, I loved the darker and twisted aspects of Eileen’s nightmares, which contrasted delightfully with the sweetness of their budding relationship! While this is a stand alone now, I would love to see more from these four characters!
While this is the only story I’ve read in this collection so far, I look forward to reading more of these amazing authors!

In this loosely-based adaptation of The Jungle Book, I met Nadia, a very naive virgin. But I get it. After all, she was literally raised by wolves (shifters) in the middle of nowhere.

But what I REALLY liked about her was that even though she was naive and innocent, she was no pushover nor a shrinking violet.

Enter two visiting traders who take a special interest in her, and she with them.

BUT, Nadia already had strong feelings for one of her packmates, Rhet, and he for her...but neither one knew how the other felt...isn't that delicious?! I LOVED that!

However, the writing with regard to Rhet and Nadia was a little too good...their emotions and love were SO well done that I almost wanted her to send the travelers away and tell them she was already taken.

I would LOVE to read more stories about other characters in this book...maybe Malik could get some redemption...?

Either way, this writing team is AWESOME and I'm a BIG big big fan!

A loose retelling of Jungle Book as a Reverse Harem
Nadia is a human raised by a wolf pact deep in the Jungle. She wondered into pack territory when she was only 3 and raised by the Pack Alpha and his mate a their own. Rhet is her adopted older brother, three years older than her. He has been her friend and protector. Nadia has been having very unsisterly like feelings for him that she has kept to herself.
Thaira is her adopted sister and they are best friends.
Malik her other adopted brother, he is cold and cruel to her.
Elman the pack Alpha and Nadia's stern but loving adopted father. Her adopted mother has passed on.
Traders come to their territory bringing goods, stories and news. Kahn, a tiger shifter has been looking for the human living deep in the jungle. He has had a dream that the human would be his down fall. Gage, a panther shifter and his best friend Xander, a bear shifter, are drawn to Nadia, and want to protect her. Nadia is drawn to them, but her feelings for Rhet are unchanged. Rhet is acting different since Gage and Xander started to show their interest. They have made it known to her that they share everything. How does she choose.
Fast paced, steamy, with a steamy epilogue.
