Shadows and Sorcery: A Collection of Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance Novels is a collaboration between some very talented authors; this particular review is for Elemental Fae Academy by Lexi C. Foss and J.R. Thorn.
Oh My, this was just so Fabulous!!!
Really wasn't sure if this was going to be my thing especially since reverse-harem is a bit hit and miss for me well this for me was a sure hit.
I absolutely bloody adored this, these authors have smashed it out the park with there contribution to this Paranormal collection and I for one can't wait for the next piece of this addictive and magical tale.
This story involves Clare a halfling who has no idea of her origins, raised on earth as a mortal by her paternal grandparents her powers kickstart on the eve of her 21st birthday.
Whisked off to the Fae realm by the delectable but oh so arrogant Exos a powerful Royal Spirit Fae who has been assigned as her protector.
Add into the mix Titus a Fire Fae who Clare also feels an instant connection to and we have some definite fireworks.
So this really hooked my attention and I am so looking forward to experiencing more of this fascinating world in the near future.
An imaginative undertaking that was extremely well written as well as being hot as Hades.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Elemental Fae Academy Part 1.

My review is currently for Within Me by Dani Rene.
This is an enjoyable PNR read that had taken us on the path alongside Talia as she learns about her past and what her future holds for not only herself but Kade and Killian too. We’re given a great blend of magic, mischief and undeniable lust all blended together in a story this story is steamy with those delicious alpha males and a storyline that will keep you on your toes until the very end. I cannot wait to see what other stories are awaiting me in this boxset.

Review for Assassin's Menace by Everly Frost!
This story will break your heart!! Grace is such an amazingly complicated character! I think she is utterly fascinating! Her past is so terribly tragic and sorrow-filled! Her happiness in nonexistent until she meets Cain and he gives her the most dangerous gift... hope. I loved seeing more of the different legion.  Learning more about prior characters was just amazing.  The fight scenes were very powerful and fast paced.  I've always wanted to see what would happen to certain characters if they ever met their match! Mission accomplished quite beautifully and brilliantly by Ms. Frost!! I have fallen so deeply in love with this world and it's cast of characters.  Everly Frost is such an intuitive and versatile writer! Her words pack a punch and give you such wonderful feelings that run the gauntlet.

What can you really say about a set that has so many talented and creative Authors altogether? This set is not just about Shadows & Sorcery, it's about different perspectives in one amazing bargain of a price ebook set. $0.99 almost feels like a steal to me.

I highly suggest everyone buy this set. It's cheaper then a cup of a coffee and you get 20 novels. That right there is a bargain.

Shadows and Sorcery is a collaboration between so many talented authors! This portion of the review is for the Elemental Fae Academy by Lexi C. Foss and J.R. Thorn.

Can I give it more than 5 Stars??? That's what I want to do anytime I read a Lexi C. Foss book. Give her all the stars, all the money and all the love. I can definitely see Lexi's style come through in this book and if this is how Lexi and J.R. Thron write during collaborations, well then yes... Take all my money!

This story is about Claire a halfling who discovers she is a powerful fae. Whisked away to the Fae Realm as she tries to come to terms with her new reality, there are several hot as sin Elemental Fae and Spirt Fae to keep her on her toes. The world building is stunning and well detailed, the characters well rounded and the events in the story kept me at the edge of my seat.

This is a medium burn reverse harem that will light you up!! Loved every word and need the whole trilogy ASAP.

J.R. Thron is now high on my radar too, so thank you Lexi for teaming up with her.
I also can't wait to dig into the other stories in this collection!!

This Box Set was amazing when it was announced and became even more amazing when it was released. So many books, so little money, and yet such good quality. What truly did attract me to write this Review was the Book the Inverse Selection by Alex.H.Singh, and that is what I am reviewing today. So before I begin-SPOILER ALERT!!!

The Inverse Selection is the Story of Elora, a girl who is on vacation to Thailand and finds a strange tapestry inside of a Hidden Temple. Much to her surprise, she is transported to the world of Tariforma, where nothing is the same. Nothing at all. Battles, Wars, Swords and so on, all of it inside of a world that this book has created perfectly. Her Journey with the Fallen Prince Kieran and his sister Chaiya is something that I wished to be a part of in real life, for it has all the thrill, all the sense of adventure and all the emotions that one may need in their life. The Inverse Selection is truly a wonderful story, a story that I have no problems, at all, for reading again and again and again.

I was given the chance to read a story from this boxset and judging by how good this story was I can only imagine how good these other stories were as well.

My story is about Within Me by Dani Rene' this is a different genre from what she normally writes but wow did she nail it.

This is about Talia who has a power that she is finding out about from Kade her boss which for some reason feel's like she's known him for a long time when she knows that's not the case, but Kade knows something about Talia's past that involves them, but if he tell's her what her future holds will she be able to make the changes she'll have to make or not?

This is definitely a must read story.

This is a fantastic box set with a variety of urban fantasy and pnr stories by a wide array of some fabulous authors. I loved all of the stories I have read! One I really loved was Natural Magic by Jen L. Grey and Nicole Kelley. I don't spoil the ending but a ceremony is at hand, Sage gets chosen and the not sure of herself. Being a Priestess of a coven is a big deal. You'll have to read the rest to find out for yourself! You won't be disappointed. Such an awesome story!

OMG What a boxset! A well written boxset of paranormal and urban fantasy stories written by some amazing authors and I can guarantee that once started you will not be able to put it down! I mean who doesn’t love kick ass heroines, sexy alphas, magic, curses and romance? So far I have read Cauldron of Ash by Dorothy Dryer and Stolen by darkness by Samantha Britt both of which are fantabulous and I cannot wait to read the rest!

I love boxed sets

First off I want to say how much I love these box sets! Where else can you read so many amazing stories in one place?
This is a review for Cauldron of Ash by Jenna Lee
This is such a great story. What happens when you are a witch and get sent to a reform school? You fall for the one person you shouldn't of course, a hot vampire with more mystery surrounding him than you can shake a stake at. It's well written and I want to learn more about each character. I can't wait to read the next book.

I can't wait to read each and every story in this amazing set

Wyatt by Miranda Lynn

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

GAH!!! Wyatt has totally been someone I was lookin’ forward to reading since we were introduced to him. I mean HELLO DRAGON SHIFTER!!! Yes please!!!

The one thing I want anyone to know about this book is the FEELINGS you will get while reading. Wyatt is so afraid to HOPE for a mate. He is beyond numb to the Goddess giving him a mate since he is the LAST Pure Blood Dragon shifter in the world. He has just thrown himself into helping his friends and packs. He is over wanting and wishing and just realized he will be alone until his dragon loses his mind, at which point, he will be “put down”. You can FEEL his loneliness in the story.
When the Goddess grants Wyatt his mate you can actually feel his anger and frustration at this gift of a mate. He is so scared because any mate of his will be a target. You can feel his fear and watch him push away this precious gift!!

Natalie, friends, she is AWESOME!! I mean she is sweet but strong. She is kind but fierce. She will NOT be just a wallflower anymore to her friends. She is starting to realize after being told she is fated to mate a dragon; she needs to be strong and confident. A dragon needs a strong mate not a weak woman.

Again, friends….the anxiety of these two was so heavy!! GAH the push and pull and the almost kisses were driving me CRAZY!! I was like JUST FREAKING KISS AND CLAIM HER WYATT!!!!!!
I can’t say enough about the story because it was probably my favorite story so far in the series and that is saying a lot because I am pretty sure Mack, my baby daddy, is not going to like hearing this news!!!

Seriously, if you enjoy angst, heart, more angst and just all out amazing chemistry, THIS IS A GREAT story for you. Its also a great introduction to the amazing world Miranda has built with the Black Mountain Pack.

Side note: If Stephen doesn’t get a book next, I will cry. His character was so much fun to read!!!

My review is for Within Me by Dani René 4½⭐

This book is different from what this author normally writes, but it was good. I love a good PNR story and to read this one was great. I hope she writes a story for Killian, I would love to read about him.

Within Me is about Talia and Kade and how their lives has been entwined for years. Talia, has been living her life as she was raised, but when she learns the truth of her life and what's to come, she will have to make an important decision. Kade, her other half has been waiting, wanting, and watching Talia, for years and now that she is exactly where she supposed to be, he will not loose at what's to come.

My review of Chosen Blood by S Lawrence...

S Lawrence has re-opened my eyes to the paranormal genre, she knocked it out-of-the park with Demons and Angels in Chosen Blood, making me want more!

There is so much I enjoyed about this one:
- The New Orleans backdrop
- Lillian and Grace's relationship
- The chemistry between Lilian & Torryn
- The changes that are taking place in Lillian and how she handles them, her reactions are priceless
- How Lillian sees Luc, the fact that she is not afraid and sees the good in him
- The Fallen are cRaZy, especially Seraphina
- How it left me with so many questions and yearning for more

************ review for Assassin’s Menace by Everly Frost

I had the opportunity to read Assassins Menace in this box set and let me tell you that this book alone is worth the buy of the collection. It does not disappoint at any level. This book is action packed with great world building and characters you can truly fall in love with. Cain Carter is sexy and dangerous with a wonderful dose of compassion. Archer is beautiful and sexy with her own dose of compassion and justice. I have read the other two books that this is a companion series too and absolutely love them. Do yourself a favor and read this as well as those. You will not be disappointed at all.

Light and Dark Unite....

My review is currently for Within Me by Dani Rene....

Dani Rene brought her A-game with this story. I love PNR and this book gripped me right away. The darkness of both Kade and Killian gave it a delicious edge. If you love Alpha males, this story is for you. Talia had to make the decision of her life and everyone she cared for. She did not realize the power she had within her, but when it was discovered, you better not be in her path.

Dani Rene needs to write further stories in this genre. I look forward to more of Kade, Killian and Talia because it can't end here.

Within Me by Dani Rene
This is first ever UF written Ms. Rene. She is well known for her stories set in the contemporary area.
Within Me is a great mix of what we know from the author with the addition of paranormal elements.
This story needs to lengthen or at least book 2! As I fell hard for the characters which were really intriguing and their inner thoughts were nice, not annoying like it usually happens.
I hope that Ms. Rene will be writing soon more in this genre!

See No Evil by Yumoyori Wilson and Elle Cross
The Concept and idea of the story were really captivating. Really enjoyed how the story was revealing itself in front of us - not everything was given at once but the story was growing on me as a reader.
I hope book 2 in the series will be released soon!

I've been looking forward to this Anthology, and one of the first stories I read is Within Me by Dani Rene. While this is not typically the genre this author writes in, I found it incredible and feel there isn't any genre she can't write. The story of Talia, a young woman who finds out secrets about who she really is, and Kade, the man she finds out has more meaning to her than anyone. But why? What is it about him that makes her feel like she has know him her whole life? When she is forced to make a decision, will it be the right one? Can Kade help her to understand who she really is? Trust me, you will love this story and wish it could have gone on longer, and I am hoping there will be more PNR by this author. Truly an entrancing read! If this story is any indication how the rest of these will be, I can't wait to read them all!!

This review is for Alex H Singh's book Tapestry 1, Inverse selection.

I have been a reader of Alex's books for years and he has an amazing ability to dream and world build. His stories are always so full of twists and plots and character development that it always keeps me on my toes without ever feeling over the top. I am always surprised as to how Alex can keep coming up with so much depth to his stories and characters so consistently and so expertly.

Looking forward to this being a grand epic with the continuations.

I bought this book solely for 'Elemental Fae Academy' by J.R. Thorn and Lexi C. Foss, and that's the book my review is based on.

In ‘Elemental Fae Academy: Book One’, Claire is ripped from her human world—the only one she knows—and thrown into a world where fae and magic are very real. This book does an excellent job of finding balance between her disbelief and culture shock and her eventual acceptance that this new world is indeed real.

As it happens, it’s also slow-burn on the ‘steam’ side of things. While the groundwork is laid perfectly for multiple attractions, and there is some insta-attraction and insta-feels, it plays out at a very comfortable pace that doesn’t make it feel like insta-love. It just fits perfectly for the elemental fae culture, which the authors depict perfectly. If you’re not sure how you feel about reverse harem, or don’t get the ‘why choose’ concept, this book and part of Claire’s plight is a great place to start.

Character development is advanced. Characters’ individual voices are strong and consistent and you get to know the different personalities and backgrounds easily as this is so well woven into this novel and everything else going on.

Despite this taking place in a non-human realm, it’s still highly relatable. The Elemental Fae Academy is complete with cliques and mean girls, for example, and while the culture is different the interpersonal interaction is basically what you might expect from such an environment.

The steamy scenes are like no others I’ve read, as the authors manage to work the elements in, making it not just hot, but also intriguing.

The world-building here is perfect. I’m not new to J.R. Thorn, I’m actually a huge fan. But I hadn’t gotten around to reading Lexi C. Foss yet. This book definitely made me realize it’s time to prioritize reading more Foss, as there’s no way either author involved here is capable of producing anything less than awesome. As a reader, I feel extremely lucky that the two have joined forces.

Note:
I listened to this book and the narrator is amazing! Most audiobooks annoy me and I rarely finish them. This one, I never wanted to turn off.

5 addicted stars.

What a fabulous collection of Fantasy and Paranormal stories.
The few I have read so far are complete first in series stories, each was well over 100+ pages.
This has some of my favorite authors from these genres as well as some new authors for me to discover.

Elemental Fae Academy by Lexi Foss
This is the start of an RH series and let me say right now this is NOT your typical wham bam we are all happy in the harem story!

Claire is celebrating her 21st birthday doing what many do -drinking and having fun with friends. All is good in her world until a dare turns her world into a living nightmare.

Exos prefers the role of a warrior to the stuffy life expected of those on the council. Oh, he has the royal blood to make him king but he abdicated the role to his brother, the more rational of the two. He prefers the challenge of an enforcer to the bland life of a ruler.

When the halfling Claire comes of age the council decides that Exos will be her protector and her teacher.
The question is can he protect her from herself?
From the fae who believes she will be the deliverer of the end of days?
His heart?
This was such an emotional and fun read. Wait till you meet Titus! The world building was creative colorful. The cast was out of this world (literally :) ) Solid story line

Within Me by Dani Rene
This is the first in series (I am hoping!). We are given some of the story's background enough to lead me to believe a future series will be unveiled. We meet some of the characters. And best of all we get to take one twisted journey.
Talia IMO was a bit of an odd man (woman) out in her early years. Her love was unrequited and when she lost him she sort of withdrew until she decided that maybe she needed a new start. A new town. A new life. I think she got a bit more than she bargained for.
Kade knew the prophecy. He knew how this had to end. He also had an advantage that would ensure the future was to his liking.
Killian, we do not get a lot on him except he is pretty much evil incarnate. Seriously he bathes in its darkness.
One woman -
Two Brothers -
Only two could be left standing

This review is for Stolen by Darkness by Samantha Britt.

I have been eagerly awaiting Stolen by Darkness, ever since I read the prequel, Running from Darkness. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It’s kind of like a mix of The Hunger Games and Throne of Glass, but at the same time, it’s its own story. I loved it! Sera is going about her daily life; she’s in college to become a nurse and she just met a cute boy that seems to be interested in her. The only abnormal thing is that she can see monsters - creatures that other humans can’t. In fact her best friend is a pixie! So really it’s normal to her that she can see non-humans. Then she is taken by 3 Fae males into the Fae realm and she’s forced to train for a contest, one that no one will give her any info about. At least she’s made a good friend in one of the contestants, Jordan. That partly makes up for the strange interest the Seelie Fae Prince Camden, and the Unseelie Fae King Sebastian have in her.

Sera is such a strong and wonderful character! She may not be the most athletic, or the most skilled in training, but she refuses to give up. I really really liked her. I also loved Jordan! She’s such a good friend to Sera when she had no real reason to befriend her and she’s pretty badass I must say. I like how strong the friendship between the girls was and how they would do anything for each other. I’m intrigued by Prince Camden and King Sebastian as well. I’m curious where the romance will lead! This book was exciting and well written! I got into it right away and I didn’t want to put it down! I highly recommend this book to anyone that’s into Fae, fantasy and paranormal romance!

I received and ARC from the author and I’m voluntarily writing an honest review.

✨ DREAMY’S REVIEW ✨

Within Me by Dani Rene is intriguing, captivating, gripping, magical, and an all-consuming read! It’s so different from what she usually writes, but when I tell you I was consumed by this read, I WAS CONSUMED!

Kade and Talia’s story took my heart by storm! I swear, it’s like they casted a spell on me!

“He came into my life, gave me the truth, and stole my heart. I knew him. His heart and soul. He let me inside to understand the darkness he kept hidden from everyone.”

Talia and Kade shared a bond, a connection between each other that couldn’t be severed the minute they met.

She was his light in all the darkness that he felt, that consumed him, that he kept hidden.

“He isn’t good looking in an average way; there’s a dark demeanor to him.”

Kade made her see the light, the goodness inside of her. He made her stronger, he made he embrace who she was, and sometimes, he saw a little edge of his darkness inside of her and it helped balance everything out.

“There’s a darkness within her that calls to me. It recognizes my own because she’s within me as I am her.”

And yet, when she figures out more of the truth and another player in the game... Will Talia have to make a choice between the two?
Who will she choose?

Their story is one that I won’t ever forget and if Dani Rene ever wrote another Urban/PN Romance, I’d devour it so quickly!

The way she writes, it makes you feel like you are with the characters throughout their journey, their struggles, and their love! And this is why Dani Rene is one of my favorite authors!

This grabbed my attention with its mix of paranormal and urban fantasy stories as well as including several authors whose previous books I’ve enjoyed. I’ve enjoyed exploring the stories and like the fact they differ so much from each other (so it doesn’t feel boring and repetitive). I love getting the chance to discover new to me authors too. A great read and worth the investment!

I will update my review as I finish more stories within the set.

Cauldron of Ash- Dorothy Dreyer and Jenna Lee
A fast-moving story with lots of potential but not quite my cup of tea. I enjoyed the premise and liked the forbidden romance and mix of paranormals, especially within a detention setting. My difficulty came with feeling like it lacked depth and complexity as there was a lot in such a short span and at times the word choice felt too formal for the story. The story has lots of potential for future stories and while this particular story didn't quite hook me, I'd be interested in reading future stories that have more time to flush things out.

Stolen Magic- Char Webster
I’ve needed more from this world and the author delivered 100%! I love the banter and chemistry between Aria and Damian, knowing how deep their connection truly runs. The twists kept me excited and glued to the pages and rooting for the team. I adore Julie and Aedan and their additions and developments didn’t disappoint. Hurricane Ember added the perfect balance. The story was well-developed and kept me easily engaged, making for a great, quick read. I can’t wait for the next one!

Review for Wyatt by Miranda Lynn

Wyatt is a dragon shifter and is freaking amazing!!!! He seems very quiet and reserved but he has quite the past. After the craziness of the previous book he is taking some much needed time off that he never allowed himself in the past. He is going to hang out with Black Mountain Pack. He believes he is the last of his lineage but then again….maybe not. The story of the dragon shifters and their mates is pure gold but heartbreaking nonetheless. As Wyatt goes in search of what is tugging at his heartstrings he finds someone that may be able to save the dragon shifter race. Natalie lives in a town that is full of shifters. This town is a place of peace for them and the humans that are aware of their existence. She has been given a reading of her future and she is not sure if she should take it to heart or not. In the midst of these two and their feelings, the resistance has reared its ugly head. Wyatt is alone and has to seek help from Leo and the Black Mountain Pack to cut the head off the snake all the while trying to help keep his soon to be mate safe. Wyatt’s and Natalie’s story is a slow burn that is thrilling and full of mystery. An absolute page turner. The history of the Dragon shifters in this book is one of my favorite ever. It’s very intricate and super interesting. A must read! Loving me some Wyatt!!!!

This is a fantastic anthology with some seriously amazing stories by some fantastic authors! Some of these authors I had never read before and look forward to looking up and reading more from. Such as Brea Viragh whom wrote Shadows Come, which is the 5th story in this anthology (if I’m remembering correctly). Which was an awesome story about a coffee shop owner named Oriel and an actress named Georgia, both of whom are looking to steal a potion, both for different reasons, they need to find a compromise. Sooo good, very well written, full of great moments, funny characters and the storyline is fantastic!
Some of them I have read a lot and love, such as Lexi C. Foss whom wrote Elemental Fae Academy: Part 1, which is the first story in the anthology. And wow, was that one seriously sexy ending! It has an awesome storyline, I really wanted to know what’s going on and what will happen next. I really loved the characters too, the main character Claire is really shaken up which is understandable considering everything, but once she gains her confidence toward the end there, I really knew I was going to love her. Titus is sweet and firey 🔥 haha but definitely sexy and Exos is just all around sexy af, I dig the jerks with soft hearts. I really look forward to reading what happens next for them!

Within Me by Dani Rene

PNR isn't a genre I read often as they tend to end up very much the same after a while. However seeing this author was spreading out into the genre I decided to take a punt, and I wasn't disappointed.

Light & Dark, Witch & Warlock, Talia & Kade. She never knew he existed til he became her new boss. He knew everything possible there was to know about her, he'd been watching and waiting for her his whole life. Talia believes herself to be a young woman embarking on a career she's longed for. It's after she accepts the job offer of her dreams that her life and world are turned upside down and she learns a whole lot more about herself than she could ever imagine.

Kade holds all the secrets that have been kept from Talia by those she holds dear. He needs her to know, he needs her help, their future depends on it. His brother Killian is circling like a vulture waiting to snatch the woman who is the other half of his soul, Talia. Can Kade convince her he's the choice she needs to make?

If hot Alpha's, secrets, magic and some steamy sex is something you enjoy then pick up this story and jump on for an amazing ride.

My review is for Chosen Blood by S. Lawrence. This is Book 1 in the Demon Bayou series. I really loved this story. It grabs your attention from the first page, and you are sitting on the edge of your seat all the way through it. This is not your normal S. Lawrence book which we are used to. This is something totally different and I think shows that her writing has improved with every story that she writes. This story has the angels being the bad guys wanting to destroy the world and the demons are trying to stop the angels. When Lillian and Torryn meet up, we have all kinds of fire works going off. There’s a lot going on between the angels and the demons plus Lillian and Torryn so you have all the excitement that you can handle. I highly recommend you reading this if you want something different than your usual angels/demons’ story. I also enjoyed reading the other authors who were all new to me. I can't wait to read more of their books. I'm off to Amazon to find other books by them.
