As an indie author, I heard about this book and bought an autographed copy. Great direction for participating and I was stunned by the number of affordable and respectable contest. This book is a wonderful tool for all of the contests.

A winner!!
All I can say is -WOW!!
What a fantastic book!! C. Hope Clark gives the reader guidelines on writing for contests, from a writer's view,and a judge's view. There are several points to address,and she lists them twice, in different parts of the book.
However, she's also lists many contests, divided by genre.
This book is very user friendly. In addition to being an excellent resource, it is inspiring for anyone who wants to write,and who is writing. A true gem!

A useful guide
I really appreciated having all the contests listed out and categorized. It made it easy to sort through. For some reason I couldn’t press the link to the contest websites and be directed to the websites. I had to manually enter the address in my browser. But small price to pay for the pep talk and listings.
