Oh my goodness. Where to even start? Another hit by Denise! Piper had quickly turned into one of my favorite characters and Of Blood and Monsters continues to prove why that is. She's such a badass, but I love that we continue to see her softer side with how much she cares for her friends and those she helps with ghosts. Along with Piper, we get the return of her crew, including Abel. Abel and I have had a solid love-hate relationship over the series, but I am now solidly on the love side of the line. Add in the continued addition of Ellie, Collin, and David and we have a terrific team.
Of Blood and Monsters seriously has it all. Page turning action, suspense, twists and turns, romance, and all of the emotions. I was happy; I was sad; I was angry. I laughed; I cried; I even yelled some and about threw my Kindle across the room. I couldn't put it down. Denise gives us the addition of POVs from other players in the group, which helps add even more dimension to an already great plot. And don't even get me started on that ending! Eagerly, and anxiously, awaiting the final installment in the series!

A freaking mazing! Denise writes a book that turns you up side down is and inside out. I should do this whole review in Memes. I can not express how much I was into this book. Just when you thought you knew what was going on something else came up.
I love all the Characters. Piper has grown so much. I think she has more going on then we could ever imagine. Her and Able I still wonder if it is worth it. He has so much going against him. Just like Collin and Ellie. Love Collin and think he is changing but how much did we trust him in the beginning? Can we please get a little worried about Tommy? I know Denise likes to throw in a twist to keep us guessing. There is just something that does not add up to me.
I was screaming more then OMG by the end of this book. There are things that happen in this book that scares me with where the whole story is going. All good and exciting. The very last paragraph. So much feelings. So many questions. So much madness. I don't know how we are going to be able to wait till the next book. I RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A ARC FOR A HONEST REVIEW.

Good God what a book! I still feel like I am at a loss for words after finishing DG Swank's latest installment in the Piper Lancaster series! It is everything that you would expect from DG Swank and more. Action-packed with badass characters taking on Okeus plus some steamy scenes (hello Piper and Abel!!) I love everything with Piper and Ellie. If you are a fan of urban fantasy pick up the Piper Lancaster series... and if you typically aren't an urban fantasy fan pick it up too. You will NOT be disappointed! With that said, I'll be over here nursing my book hangover if anyone needs me.

Wow! All I can say it was amazing! Piper, Abel, Ellie, Colin all fighting and learning their roles together. The heart break, the pain, the hotness, Triumph.... Like most of Denise’s book I was lead on an emotional roller coaster of what if, but no it can’t be, yes I must keep reading!!! I love Piper and can’t wait to see what she and Ellie can do in next book.

Gory hell!!
This book was beyond epic!! I had a euphoric feeling that left me reeling when I finished reading this book. The entire book was superb. It was better than what I could have ever imagined in my wildest dreams. If you are hesitant to try this series out, DON’T!! You won’t be disappointed. This is the kinda book that will have you cursing the author (in different languages), throwing the book at the wall, and hugging this book tight in your arms. I absolutely loved it!!

This book was everything I hoped for and more. I could not put it down!
I was so excited to receive an early reader copy of "Of Blood and Monsters."
This story kept me on the edge of my seat, heart pounding, holding my breath and reading as fast as I could to find out what would happen next. The story was unpredictable, action packed and heartfelt.
Piper Lancaster is one of my favorite DG Swank characters because she is fearless and always works for doing the greater good. One of my favorite parts in the story is the teamwork of Piper and her cousin Ellie. Both of these strong female characters have their own team and how the teams work together.
You won't be disappointed in this amazing next installment of the Piper Lancaster series. I was first drawn to this series last year as a new reader to the Urban Fantasy genre, but long time fan of Denise Grover Swank.
I already can’t wait for the next Book! September is definitely too far away!

Where do I even start with this book? I am literally speechless. This book has wholly consumed me. It’s one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. The storyline is flawless. The characters are incredible. This is an absolute must read series.

What in the world just happened? I am filled with so many emotions right now! The story-line alone is amazing, but this time we get the point of view from Piper and Ellie, along with other POV's from a few additional characters.
During the reading of this book I was literally screaming! There are things we expect to see in this series such as fighting demons and death and ghosts, but Denise took it to a whole new level in this book. I am mostly intrigued by the changes in Piper in this book and her ever growing powers. We also get some more answers into the mysterious "voice". This book is just amazing and I'm totally looking forward to the final installment in September.

WOW!! Just finished and I am speechless! I love Piper, but her and Ellie together along with Collin and Abel... make it so much better! I would definitely want them on my side if I was faced with demons! I loved the entire book but towards the end, there are no words to truly convey how I felt! There were twists and turns that I would have never predicted! I was completely engrossed in Piper’s world and did not want to leave!This series gets better with every book! If you haven’t read the Piper Lancaster series, start tonight! This one is definitely worth losing sleep over!!

WOW. I really don’t even know where to begin.
This book really took over me. I couldn’t put it down. I laughed, STRESSED, and cried. The absolute heartbreak that you feel when you’re so invested in characters and their stories...you’ll feel that.
Piper, Abel, Ellie, Collin, and everyone else come together as a dream team. So many twists and turns that you just don’t expect to happen. Absolutely one of the best DGS books I have ever read. MUST READ!!! I will be reading again once I mend my broken heart LOL

In this book Piper, Abel, Rhys, Jack, Hudson, Ellie, Collin and David are a force to be reckoned with.. From the very beginning this book has your attention and It just keeps getting better and better. Just when you think you know how everything is going to end, Denise throws us a curveball!! I loved every minute of this book and this series. This is a must read series!!

OMG I don't even know where to start! I'm actually speechless! This book is everything I hoped for and much more. Denise outdid my highest hopes! I was struggling to put it down when I had no choice! My head is still spinning after everything that happened in this book just now. And happened a lot if it's even the right word to describe it. It was a non-stop action packed rollercoaster.
Those fantastic characters- Piper, Abel, Ellie, Collin, David, Rhys and Jack! I loved all of them. Oh Piper, she is one real badass and her many powers grow in a lightning speed. I never expected these turns and twists coming!
If you are still hesitating to try this series, don't, just give it a try and you'll be never disappointed, because you'll never want to stop!

Of Blood and Monsters started off as your typical urban fantasy, checking off the boxes of why I love reading this genre. Then bam, Denise flipped everything upside down, punch me in the feels and had me clamoring for more.
This book ended up being a total mind-f*** and just when I thought I had it all figured it, the rug was ripped out from me and the only thing I believe now is to trust no one. the gods are playing some sick and twisted games and let me tell you I'm here for it.
Ellie, Piper, and Colin are being manipulated in ways I don't think they even know and they were put through the wringer in this book. As much as they have grown through this series, they still have their own demons they need to get control of if they want to win this war. They are being moved around like chess pieces and if they can't get control of their emotions and learn to trust each other, then all hope is lost.
and I have to say is I do not trust, Tommy. Ghost Boys are never meant to be trusted and I firmly believe he is not as he appears to be and think he's up to no good....

Never underestimate the power of independent, strong women who charge forward and don’t back down. These characters have grown so much through the entire series especially Piper. Learning to embrace who she is while becoming a leader. I have followed this series since the very beginning with Ellie and Collin, and now Piper and Abel too. They’re a supernatural dream team fighting to save the world and all the people they love.
Their stories have left my heart and soul obliterated leaving me an emotional wreck. But I have loved every minute of it! Denise’s writing leaves you craving more and I’m anxiously awaiting the next book! Do yourself a favor and grab this series! You won’t regret it.

Some books you read, and some books you experience. This book was the latter. I was so absorbed in the story that there were times I forgot to breathe.
Of Blood and Monsters seamlessly continues the Piper Lancaster saga from where Of Fire and Storm ended. I was happy to see all the main characters again, and even some new (returning) characters from the Curse Keepers series.
If you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend it. You will be in for a wild ride and at the end will be left screaming for more.

I received the ARC for Of Blood and Monsters for my honest review and I can honestly say it was amazing!!! I could not put it down. I have loved each book in the Piper Lancaster series and The Curse Keepers series and thought there was no way Of Blood and Monsters could be any better. I was wrong. Of Blood and Monsters far surpassed my expectations. It is definitely the best in the series. I am amazed how D.G. Swank out does herself with each book.
Of Blood and Monsters put me through an emotional roller coaster. I was excited, happy, angry, sad,heartbroken, scared, vindictive, and ready for battle. I loved every page and was heartbroken at the same time. I am ready for book 4!!

Thrilling, Gripping, Enthralling, Suspenseful and jam-packed with so much supernatural awesomeness I couldn't put it down.
Piper, Abel, Rhys, Jack, Hudson, Ellie, Collin, and David are an amazing force to be reckoned with, well as long as they can pull together as a team before the army of demons arrives...
I'm getting closer to the end and omg the twists keep coming and I'm like sh.t I didn't see that coming... omg I did not see that coming... freaking Nooooo I did not see that coming... but guess what it all happened and all I can say is OMG
and what an ending!!!!!!!! now I'm waiting with bated breath for the next book.

Wow. Just wow!. I am not sure where to even begin, this book is engaging, exciting and an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end. It is a must read

They are all here, Ellie, Collin, David, Abel, Piper, Jack, and Rhys! From beginning to end it’s a nonstop emotional roller coaster. I loved it! It was so good I immediately started it over again!

Oh my Gods! This book was seriously intense and amazing! Definitely worth the wait! Piper's power just keeps growing and that last line of the book just shows you how badass she is. And seeing how Abel feels about Piper was amazing! I loved having the different POVs throughout the book! It really added so much to the story. I absolutely loved Ellie, Piper, and Collin together and I can't wait for more of that! And I love that Denise is so great at infusing humor into every book. Even her most intense, gory, and heartbreaking ones. It just goes to show how amazing she is at what she does. Thank you Denise for sharing your words with us.

There are no words that can accurately describe how I am feeling after finishing this book. I could not love it more than I already do and want to give it another go around already.
Piper is such a badass and when you combine the badass-ness of everyone else in the group, you get one hell of a book. Piper's abilities are growing stronger every moment and there is no clear answer as to what is in store for her. We learn so many new things and now have more questions that are left unanswered.
Denise does, yet again, an outstanding and incredible job bringing Piper's world to life. There are so many intense, amazing, heart wrenching moments in this book that it will make you never want to put it down. Just keep in mind you may lose a few hours of sleep. :) Thank you Denise for pouring your heart and soul into this 3rd book and not giving up!

Wow!
I am in awe of the imagination and research it took to write this book. It is terrifying! I couldn’t put it down for the suspense. I am not a fan of frightening monsters and thus the reason for the 4 star rating instead of a 5 star. This book is a frightening blood bath. You never know who is a friend and who can be turned into a enemy. The gods use humans and spirits alike to play a deadly game. If you enjoy nightmare type scenarios, you will want to read this book. If you are squeamish at all, you may want to pass. I am squeamish but I still couldn’t put it down so read at your own risk! Just keep in mind that good always triumphs over evil in the end and eagerly await book four of this series!

Wow. To have Ellie and Collin (and David) join forces with Piper, Abel and Jack was a DGS readers delight. Even if you haven't read the previous curse keepers books (I urge you to) they fit in perfectly without having to know their back story.
Fighting demons, dealing with ghosts and chatting with God's are all in here and flows really well. Piper is getting stronger everyday and finding out about her powers which the supernatural world are also very interested in and between them all they are all trying to figure out what to do and how to do it without being killed. Friendships are tested to the max with new plans developing all the time, I can't wait for the next installment to find our the conclusion.

Picks up right where Of Fire and Spirit left off which I like. I didn’t feel like I had to catch up.
I couldn’t put this one down, I wanted to so it wouldn’t t be over so soon but I couldn’t. I am addicted.
All I can say about this one is ....WOW. The emotional rollercoaster this put me through was intense. Intense is an understatement in how this story was. Unpredictable and yet so amazing. I can’t believe I have to wait for the next one. Going to be a rough wait yet I don’t regret reading this series at all.

My head is still spinning with everything that has gone on in this book! It was brilliant.

The thing I enjoy most with a DGS book are her characters. They are so life like, I feel like I am in the book standing beside them and going through all that they do. Now this can be very scary when you’re reading about Piper and the gang but also extremely compelling.
When you come away from reading a novel, and you are still thinking about everything that has happened and wondering what’s coming next, and you can’t stopping thinking about it, that’s when you know it’s a hit! So looking forward to the final installment.

Absolutely incredible!!! Of Blood and Monsters has everything I was expecting and so much more! I’m still in shock from the ending and I’m at a loss for words, it’s that amazing! I was expecting a great book, especially following how good Of Fire and Storm was, but I never imagined it would have been this incredible! There was a perfect mixture of action, magic, romance, fantastic characters, and then you see some returning characters point of views (Ellie and Collin from The Curse Keepers are back!). I honestly couldn’t have thought up a better book and now I cannot wait to read the next book to see where Piper and Ellie go from here!

Denise hit it out of the park again! If you haven't read any of these yet, be sure to start with the Curse Keepers series, as this is the third book in the spin-off series. Both series well worth your time! This book has a bit of everything: romance, action, thriller. I yelled, laughed, cried. Loved it!

Of Blood and Monsters...
Ellie and Piper come together to kick some serious butt. I love seeing Piper grow in her power! This book had me on the edge of my seat until the end. If you don’t already have this book, or this series, RUN! Go grab this amazing series. Seriously, you NEED it. Not sure if Supernatural is for you? Don’t kid yourself, IT IS! You will not be disappointed with this roller coaster of emotions and phenomenal book! D.G. Swank has done it again! Wowza!
