Felt a bit bored at work today, so I picked up this book and finished it in 2 hours☺☺ Title: Trapped Author: Rajat Chakraborty Publisher: Author's Ink Publications Pages: 181 This #selfhelp book lifted my mood and I was able to focus on my work again. ✔ The author has wonderfully described the challenges we face in our routine life, the solutions to which we need to find ourselves. ✔I liked the author's definition of success, strength and his purpose of life. ✔Mood-tracking exercise is useful. ✔The difference between existing and living is described well. ✔Examples used are noteworthy and the success stories are a great inspiration.
Few lines that I liked: "Chaos is created when we blindly do what the society expects of us instead of thinking for ourselves" "We are free to dream and design our future - the only limitations are in our mind"
The book is recommended to all those who are in search of inspiration as it reaffirms that the term 'Impossible' is actually 'I M Possible'.
We always feel trapped in the world around us. No matter at what stage of life we are, school, collage, work, family, there comes a point when we get tired and want to quit but can’t and don’t even know what to do. Why? This book will tell you the reason and the solution to not being trapped. Trapped is a self-help divided into 2 parts. The first tells us how we are trapped, what we can do be un-trapped and guides us towards observing ourselves, self-awareness and finding our talent. Working hard on the talent you posses or have developed since childhood is way better that struggling at something just for some short-term benefits. The second part is a compilation of experiences and advices of various happy and successful people from different fields.
The title is average for the book and the cover does no justice. A better cover and title may attract more people towards this book. The readers will get more idea of what to expect from the book with a better outward layout.
The language is fairly simple. Easy words. The structuring is done very well and is remarkable. It is done step by step and the the partition is well thought of. It makes it easy for the reader to understand the whole point of the book. It also has cute little pictures that add humour and sarcasm to the book.
The content is a mixture of personal teachings, experiences with examples proving the point from various other books and speeches.
Coming to my personal opinion, I did like the book. I got to know 2-3 points about talent and hard work and their combination which were new. I haven’t read them anywhere else. Apart from those points, though, there was nothing crazy. My favorite part was the fire in the book. The will to bring change, the passion to influence youngsters towards goodness touched me straight to my heart.
In the end, I would recommend this book to the youngsters, especially to those who are just beginning with their life decisions.
Review- Definately a great non-fiction book. The book is about what goes inside the mind and how we work accordingly. The author has tried to make us aware about life, how to plan things and get with it. Also, there are interviews of some important people which gives us an insight. The language is great. The cover is attractive. The maze is just eye catchy. Too many quotes, the only thing i didnt like. Overall, a well thought non- fiction.

My review :-
Having a good guide or a mentor in everyone's life is priceless. The learnings we can take from a mentor's experience is paramount. And when the experiences of many such people who have seen all the ups and downs of life is aggregated in one place in the form of writing, we get a wonderful book. Trapped is one such book which not only educates us with the nature of life and personalities and guides with handling all kinds of situations in life, but also takes you through experience and teachings of many people who have struggled to be successful.
Trapped is a self help book, a new venture of author Rajat Chakraborty promises to be an eye opener for many a people. The cover is eye catching with a man in the middle of a maze depicting the dilemmas of life and the title supports it to the very extent. The writing style of the author is appreciable and the flow is good. Author has very easily conveyed the message to the readers in a simple way.
The highlight of the book for me the division of book into two parts where first part including all the lessons and the second part with all the interviews of many successful people in the society. The inclusion of quotes of many renowned persons is also a positive factor.
The book contains a few repeated matter which could have been dealt differently. But overall it's a very good self help book and a must read for all the non-fiction lovers.
💫Trapped By Rajat Chakraborty💫 💫Category: Self-help . Introduction: Difficulties and hurdles are inevitable. Minor setbacks, major failures, degrees of struggle vary from person to person - no two are alike. When you find yourself questioning your strengths, that’s when you are faced with one major question - “Do I put my head down and try harder, do I seek help, or do I concede that I’m not meant to be doing this?” . My Opinion: Luckily this year 2019 I have been bombarded with alot of self-help books which are so lively & which have been helping me since 2019 started. Most of them I have kept in my heart but few books belonging to this category are just so boring. I received trapped & I was super excited to read & I already did, trapped is book which is written to enlighten the reader's mind ni matter of what age. But, I guess the book suits more to teenagers because it has such tender gestures & the careful writing throughout it. I just started it yesterday & finished it within an hour. Like, yes it's a real short read but has alot of stuff in it which has to be absorbed by the reader & it completely depends how a reader takes it. If you are taking it positively with your entire attention then trust me this gonna work. The book has a cool cover along with a cool title. . Pros: The best part of the book is it's font size, it's so soothing. Plus, the writing is very easy & original. I found that the book was not at all adulterated with fake & hyped stuff. The topics discussed were very basic & easy to understand. They had a real good impact on me. I just liked it as a good power puff read & do recommend it. Cons: The book deals with surface & I expected depth! May be next time, but the writing is thoughtful & effective. . Rating: 3.25🌟
With so many motivational speakers, online journals and already published some good self help material it's really hard to come across book by a newbie and you realize he really taught you something is a tough job. A healing guide which would not make you wonder why you lacked rather than where and in this moment you can kick start your dreams.
Author has very articulately defined each and every chapter. Each chapter has inputs and if one alwar stick to any one of the page he/she can really do well. The amount of energy and time invested in book is clearly reflected, author has mentioned throughout the book various sites for personality tests, careers enriching blogs, famous articles, his own journey and what not.
Without giving a second that the book has actually made into my worth book read of 2019.
Moving on to the title, really very apt. The book cover is sober and catchy; clearly defines one's state of mind in this hustle bustle world. With least grammatical errors reader would enjoy journey of so many living great men, how discovering yourself can change your life.
I would recommend everyone to read this book. Book will guide you, stay yo your side even when you have multiple dimensions to explore.

The main point that I found this book interesting is that it is based on the lifestyle of almost every student in college. It is very much relatable. This book teaches us to set our priorities straight. It makes us understand the value of time and good habits and how these habits can make our lives better.
The language used is lucid. I strongly recommend this book to everyone. I'd rate this book 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/ 5 stars
🖤💙 Book Review 💙🖤 Book :- Trapped Author :- Rajat Chakraborty Publisher :- authorsink My ratings :- ⭐⭐⭐.5/5 Price :- 250/- Genre :- Self help book -- The book TRAPPED with an apt title is mostly about how our mind responses in various situations and things we deal with . The author @writerrajat has beautifully presented the book and the way it is written is very motivating . There are some of his real experiences which made me connect with the book in a great way. Also, there are interviews of some important people which were really inspiring . The inclusion of quotes and muses of many renowned persons is also a great idea put up by author .
The book is divided into 2 parts. Both of them are equally interesting and easily understandable . After reading this book, a surge of motivation rushes in the mind of the reader to plan our lives in a much better manner .
I would recommend this book to people who live to read self help books !
As it's a self-help book, it did has the perk of explanation to some situations in life, where we face some challenges in our day-to-day life, what is the solution to that, what success means to people, it's strength has a different meaning to it, as well as the purpose of people's life. The difference between saying you exist, and living is is totally different, which was explained well enough by the author. Nothing is impossible, just need to take your own time to go through the situation you are in. Overall a great read.
I did not really have any expectations going into this book. I read it very quickly in one day and I enjoyed it overall but it was nothing spectacular. I liked the first part of the book the most later on too many names and too many stories which made the book a little bit boring.Overall a nice book and indeed it inspire reader to turn to practical world as a way to coping it up with the extremities and challenges of life.
"Don't wait for people, colleges or companies to choose you. Teach yourself, and learn on your own. Create on your own. Grow on your own. Before you know it, people will start persuading you to join them. When that happens, you will be in a position of power- to say yes, or, no."
"Trapped" by Rajat Chakraborty is a self-help book that illustrates the importance of self-awareness and provides a step-by-step guide to achieve it.
The author in his preface confesses that he spent his first year of college wondering what he wants to do with his life. That really hit me because I was spending my first year wondering about that too.
Escapism is a huge problem with a lot of us. We prefer distracting ourselves instead of looking inside us and improving our lives. This is where the importance of self-awareness comes in. The author provides a detailed guide to break the traps we have confined ourselves in. He writes with complete honesty and calls us out on things. There are many relatable and eye-opening points in this book. I just wanted to soak in all the knowledge.
The book is very easy to read, even for those who are not used to non-fiction or self-help books. To truly benefit from this book, one has to thoroughly read it and implement it in their lives. That is exactly what I plan to do.
I recommend this book to everyone. It is a must-read for college students.

Divided into 2 parts, the first being the one to expose us to the real world around us. Part A, talks about how with self reflection and introspection, one can make the key of Happiness on their own. It highlights the importance of being realistic and mentions the 7 core principles of life- Authenticity, Honesty, Significance, Generosity, Contribution, Friends/Family ans Experiences.
Part B has 'Words of Wisdom' from people coming from various aspects of life and knowing how they underwent the process of self discovery to get out of the trap thrown by the enigma called life.
The writing style of the book is simple and easily understandable. It was a short and quick read for me. I especially liked the concept of 'Ikigai' told in the book. Although the book felt a little repeated at some places, it was one good read for me!
