Vampire house-sitter? Check. Death realm survival gear? Wait! What?
He saved her world but at what cost?
The seduction of a Horseman's beast is a powerful thing. It's something Bram can't escape, or won't. Consumed by power, his beast has gained control, and now the royal has another problem. He doesn't think he's worthy of redemption, believing he deserves his dragon prison, after what he's done, and who he's killed. Losing the last remnants of his humanity, though, was a small price to pay to free Chloe's world from the grip of the deadly fae realm.
Will Chloe be able to save Bram before he rains fire down upon her world as the uncontrollable Horseman of War, the thing of nightmares? But more importantly, can she free the man she loves from his inner demons?
This isn't your ordinary happily ever after fairy tale. The Reign of Fae is raw and gritty featuring a strong female lead, a brooding magic wielding boy, and their forbidden romance. Full disclosure, there are F bombs and steamy bits throughout the series. Fans of the Mortal Instruments, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Fever series will love USA Today bestselling author CK Dawn's brand new dystopian urban fantasy.
Have you ever watched a cat stare at a wall, tracking something’s movements-- something invisible that sent shivers down your spine? Did it seem as if they were able to sense dark shadows lurking where the veil between worlds and reality thins? That’s precisely where the idea for the Netherwalker Series came from for CK Dawn!
USA Today bestselling author, coffee loving gamer girl, and Sci-fi enthusiast, CK Dawn always loved to snuggle up with her cat Hagrid (the shadow-seer) and read. But found writing was her bliss. So, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away CK let her unique modern tale of knights and Camelot dancing in her head take form and fly with Cloak of Shadows, her Readers' Favorite award winning debut novel. Now, you can find CK writing in the witching hours with Hagrid by her side while being distracted far too often by social media. There's more to come in the Netherwalker Series so stay tuned. Seriously, the story has only just begun.
CK loves connecting with readers and hopes to hear from you soon.
This entire book Chloe is alone, trying to figure out how to save their witch friend Mary, so they can save Bram, and bring him back to his fae/human form. She befriends one of the vampires from the previous book who I thought was evil?? But instead I ended up loving him so much? Like ugh why do I always fall for the ones that act like charming assholes but are also super loyal and dedicated. I also sadly cannot remember his name but he is the LOML. Claimed. Don’t let me down dude.
This book was much shorter than the others, and went by SO quickly I honestly barely remember what happened but all I know is that I loved it. In general I just love this storyline with it’s post – apocalyptic setting and characters with voices that leap off the page.
We’re left with yet another cliffhanger at the end of this book and I NEED the next book NOW! I really wish these were longer or I wish some of these could be combined together because they’re TOO SHORT ok. I want so much more world and world building out of this series!
Get yourself a copy of these books today because they’re honestly pretty enjoyable for an indie author.

Amazing FMC!!! 💪👊💅... Can't believe how awesome Chloe is, I'm in awe of her inner strenght, determination, courage, selfness nature... All she has faced in order to save her loved ones... Gaining unexpected allies along the way, whom can't resist her charm... But that ending, OMG, you are killing me CK!!! 😩😭... I need the next book NOW!!!... A must read series!!! ❤️😍🤓
Can't wait for the fourth book! I went through books one they three in one day, talk about not being able to put a book down! If you like dragons, fae, vampires, and intrigue this is for you! CK Dawn is a good writer who sucks you into the story so gradually that you don't realize that she has caught you! Love it!
So if you are reading book 3, you already know there was a cliffhanger. And yes this is one too. It is fast paced a bit short for me, I just wanted more! The dream was intense! Great read definitely recommend!
Oh my goodness the ending so far... i can't take much more waiting to find out how this story will end, that's how good this story is getting! So much has happened. It so addicting, i highly recommend this series so far. The next book can't come fast enough! So good!
I enjoyed book 3 in the Reign of Fae series. I have been tearing through these books! Forewarning: if you don't like cliffhangers and prefer to read complete series, I would wait until book 4 is out! Now I have to wait til July! Good read! I recommend.
Part 3 of the Rein of Fae series was a quick read, but there was so much there, I think I need a moment to digest it.
Bram? Dragon
Mordecai? Sudden good guy?! No wait. Yes? No?
Read it, you’ll understand.
I loved getting some flashbacks from Bram into his childhood. More pieces of the puzzle fell into place for me.
Chloe and the sword reminded me of Harry Potter and his scar. And there was that moment when the thing happened...
It took me few days to go back and write this review because I had immediately gone to book 4. I couldn’t leave it like that. Book 3 was events reaching another boiling point.
