Heads Up

The opening of Alec's story brought forth some unforseen emotions that almost made me stop reading. I forced myself to continue, but not at my usual breakneck speed, and by the time they reached the Bonners' farm the chest constriction and general feeling of "unease" had lifted. I had never experienced this while reading about abuse before, but being a survivor (over 50yrs), something triggered that reaction. Just a heads up to fellow readers.
I'm very happy with myself for continuing and completing the series as it's a good one. I'm enjoying author's creating their own shifter lore for their works; makes things more interesting 😊.

I enjoyed the plot and most of the story line. However they went from no relationship or even speaking to slam bam woohoo. Were in love and will be together forever. The end. I only read the first book and didn't have any desire to go further.. I hate leaving negative reviews but this just wasn't for me. I like a little more sustenance to the relationship.

This the stories in this set are great. I so much enjoyed reading them. And they are some connected. There is the Bonnrrr farm,a safe haven for all the packs. Each storyline has it's a ups and downs. Highly recommend this read.
