Kayley Cole is a full-time author of Contemporary, New Adult and College Romances. She loves writing about strong alpha bad boys and sassy women with a touch of suspense thrown in the mix!
Writing great stories, listening to your ideas... creating characters you'll love.
This one was pretty good. I liked the writing and the characters were pretty good too. This is a novella so obviously there wasn't much development and it more relied on the idea that they were already in a relationship but I didn't mind that. This book is even shorter than I thought because the last 25% is actually a preview of a different story. That was part of the reason I gave it just three stars. If this book had just been a tad longer to make the action scenes and the sex scenes just a bit more drawn out I think this story could have been really good. I liked that both Cara and Ronan seemed very capable and intelligent. I thought there was some weird stuff with their relationship that didn't really have time to play out given the length of the book and probably should have just been left out but overall I liked them together. I would definitely read something else by this author in the future and I think this is a pretty solid short story.
Cara is the daughter of the Rampant MC’s VP and determined to go to college out of state. That is until Tony comes along.
Tony has now been with the Rampant’s for two years. He never expected to put his training in jeopardy especially for a woman and one that he has fallen hard for.
Tony can’t help falling for Cara but once she knows the truth about him, will she chose family over her heart and let the one man she trusts walk away??
With every book I’ve read by Kayley Cole I find myself falling in love with each character and rooting for that HEA. I seriously hope this becomes a full series because if or when it does I’ll be reading every single one of them!! You go girl!! 🖤🖤
Tony has worked for Rampart for 2 years now. He has gained the trust of Mick, whose father is the Vice President and fallen in love with Cara, Mick's sister. Cara longs to go to college in NY but her father won't agree. He can't protect her from his enemies.
Rampage does a lot of illegal dealings, stealing weapons and selling them. The FBI has had them on their radar for some time.
Tony is not as he seems and he is not able to tell Cara the truth. When things go down, will he just dissappear from her life?
I wish this novella had been longer but it was very well written and you got a good feel for the main characters easily. I enjoyed it and recommend it.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. This is an excellent short story. I am not usually a fan of short stories but I really enjoyed this one. Although short in length it was long on danger, intrigue, suspense and steamy romance. The writing was sharp and concise and provided enough details to keep the plot moving along. The characters were well developed and believable and engaging. The story was fast paced and complex and full of emotions, excitement and danger. Definitely worth reading!
Every time I read a Kaley Cole I get thoroughly immersed in the world she creates and this book was no different
Tony has been a member of the Rampant MC for two years during that time he has become firm friends with Mick and Cara the children of the Rampant's Vp in fact his feelings for Cara are getting stronger all the time. Cara wants to leave and attend university away from the MC but her father won't allow it as he can't protect her if she leaves and now she isn't sure if she wants to leave Tony either. But what is the secret that Tony is hiding and will it destroy any chance of a HEA
This is a well written and very entertaining story. The characters, Tony and Cara, are complex and believable with depth and individuality that's easy to relate to. The chemistry between them is crazy hot. The scenes are explicitly detailed and you have no trouble visualizing each scenario as they play out and there are twists and turns around every corner. An amazing read and I definitely recommend it.
This is a very well written short story. I personally would have preferred more, but it was still good. The story was filled with deceit, twists, and turns. The characters were portrayed well. Good read! I received this as an ARC and am voluntarily reviewing it.
