Oh boy. There are betrayals and deceptions, engagements, marriages, divorces, and every other disaster you can imagine. You pretty well need a scorecard to keep track of the emotions, the hormones, the friendships, the rivalries. Every page brings a new plot twist.

But it's all detailed, and if you follow the story, you can keep it all straight. This should be a movie, especially as the sex is kind of glossed over, but the food and drink is lovingly described.

A few typos and randomly capitalised nouns. Could use a sub-editor to give the book a final polish. But only a few and they didn't get in the way of the plot.

All in all, a satisfying, complex, richly-woven read. Kept me going right till the end to find out how it worked out.

A great ending

I think that every thing turned out in lyssa favor although her true friend was a jealous hearted devil who turned everybody world upside down with all the wrong doing but it turned out good in the end. Great job

This was another really great SHORT story. Again my only problem: I WANTED MORE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Blown away

Friends? Frenemies at best! What a waste of time and energy. Learn the lesson, take the loss and walk away. Li sure did bring Lyssa out of character; but to plot and plan revenge for that long was a recipe for disaster, or was it? I know I couldn't live the way this turned out. I mean how can anybody trust again? I wasn't sure how it would end. I guess, if nothing else, everyone matured for the sake of the innocent ones. Great storyline with some twists and a lot of food for thought.

This was a good book. It wasn't predictable and I was entertained throughout the entire read. I don't know if the ending is realistic but... I suppose it could happen. I would read more from this author.

Loved the storyline and the characters. The intro was the best part. If you like books with pages and pages of excessive backstory, this may hit for you. But it just didn’t do it for me.

This was really a great story. It had jealousy, deception, envy and more. But in the end everyone matured and realized their faults. I loved it ❤️👏🏾
