Is this a normal German grammar book?

Note: this is not a normal book with grammar explanations and exercises. It's a story for you to read and listen to. The chapters are short – it’s really motivating to read these short chapters! By reading and listening, you improve your German much faster and it's more fun, too! The pictures help you to understand the text better, and if it's really too hard, have a look at the English translation.

This is the easy way to learn vocabulary! Learn your German vocab with natural texts and pick up new words on the go!

At the and of each chapter, you will get some information about an interesting topic. Small notes help to improve your German. They cover difficult or important topics and help you with typical learning issues.

For each chapter, you have a lot of exercises that help you to prepare for the Goethe Exam A1.

Is it this book for A2/post-beginners?

Reading and listening is a good way to improve your vocabulary. Even if you have passed your A1 level, it’s still a good learning resource. Don't look at the English translation but try to read it fluently. The exercises might be too easy sometimes, but you have to admit: One always forgets vocabulary anyways, so use this book to repeat important words and grammar. Also, you‘ll learn German the way it's really spoken and used in Germany.
