On the day of Adam and Anna’s wedding, she won’t be there, and he’ll lay everything on the line to get her back. With the help of former covert operatives, Adam works to track down Anna’s last steps to discover what happened to her, never believing her to be a “runaway bride.”But as the truth unravels, and the McGregor family finds themselves under attack—Adam must not only rescue Anna in time but keep his family from danger as well.
Brittney Sahin began writing at an early age, with the dream to be a published author before the age of 18. Although academic pursuits (and, later, a teaching career) interrupted her aspirations, she never stopped writing—never stopped imagining.
It wasn’t until her students encouraged her to follow her dreams that Brittney said goodbye to Upstate New York in order to start a new adventure in the place she was raised: Charlotte, North Carolina. Here, she decided to take her students’ advice and begin to write again.
In 2015, she published her first novel, The Safe Bet. When she is not working on upcoming novels, she spends time with her family. She is a proud mother of two boys and a lover of suspense novels, coffee, and the outdoors.
This is an action packed, intense follow-up novella to Brittney Sahin’s On the Edge. Anna and Adam’s wedding day has arrived and Adam is concerned when Anna doesn’t answer his calls or knocks on her door. He isn’t worried that she’s run away, instead he worries something has happened to her.
This novella follows Adam and his friends and family as they try to find Anna and figure out what is going on. We get to see Alexa Ryan, Jake Summers and Xander as they are called in to help. The action takes some unexpected turns and ends with a satisfying ending and a anticipation of what the future holds for several characters.
This was a quick, one sitting read that kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire read!
What a wonderful (although suspenseful) glimpse into Adam and Anna's life together. Through the entire story, all I could think was "poor Adam." What a way to spend your wedding day! The story moved along quickly and was jam packed with twists and turns. I was definitely relieved when they finally tied the knot. Loved the characters, was the perfect setup for Holly's story.
A mystery and a kidnapping! This book was a rollercoaster making you really start to think. It got a bit slow at times it could have been going at a faster pass through out the story because this book wasn’t so long. It would have made it a bit easier to follow.
Another great book by Brittney. The suspense of not knowing who could have taken Anna or why was intense and kept my curiosity going! I also enjoyed seeing all the character crossovers. Maybe my most favorite part was the connection between Holly and Renaud, makes me want their book right now! Great read as always!
Brittney Sahin has masterfully woven the world of suspense and magic together in this follow up novella of On The Edge.
Adam and Anna's story continues on their wedding day. But alas! it didn't happen as planned! As Anna went missing, Adam must solve all the pieces together with the help of former FBI and MI6 agents. A dark and powerful man is also making a play, and a mysterious man has all the answers.
Despite the thrill and suspense, Brittney still managed to infuse the magic of love and romance, which is the backbone of this story after all. HEA for the lovers and a possible beginning for one of the characters. You have to read it and find out who it is.
This short story is pack full of suspense, action, romance, and family drama. You need to read this if you read On The Edge.
I totally enjoyed the first book where we met Adam, Anna and the MacGregor family. Watching them fall in love was an emotional rollercoaster of a ride. I loved it! So when I heard that they were gonna get a novella I was excited. Wow. I was on tenterhooks the whole way thro this book. I didn’t have a clue what had happened so it was a true revelation at the end. Adam is all kinds of hit and sexy Irishman Alpha. I absolutely loved catching up with some of our other beloved characters who showed up and had a big cameo here too. Love Jake and Xander. Great end to their story. Now I can’t wait for Holly’s book. Hint hint. Lol
This was a cute short follow-up to book 1, and it actually was romantic suspense.
I enjoyed the Adam/Anna stuff. I did not enjoy Holly at all, though - I feel like she's a self-absorbed, stuck-up, spoiled rich asshole. It is how she came across in book 1, when she was insistent that the fighting was Anna's responsibility, and it is how she came across here. I don't think I can read her book. I'm not sure if I can just skip to book 4, though. We'll see.
Love this couple so much! Love the love they have for each other . This is an awesome read as always this Author never fails to deliver an amazing book ! Once you start reading you can't stop till the last page !! Anddddd now I can't wait for Adam's sisters book 😍 🔥 This is a must read after reading On The Edge 😉 .. Just know once you read you will want MORE lol !
Another book in the Dublin Nights series. On The Line starts off with a missing bride and then the desperate hunt for her before it’s too late. Lots off action and romance. #romance #book #reading #books #bookstagram #read #bookworm #booklover #bibliophile #reader #bookshelf #novel #booksofinstagram #booklovers #ilovebooks #fiction #bookish #book #bibliophile #lindaleereads2020
On the Line had everything I could have asked for in a novella. Brittney’s ability to pack in suspense, romance & so much more into a novella is nothing short of amazing. This was such a wonderful addition to On the Edge. If you’re looking for a shorter read with the best bang for your buck, this is it. I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for Dublin Nights.
4⭐️ On the Line is an intense novella about the events that lead up to Adam and Anna’s wedding. When everything goes wrong, lives are on the line, and the reasons are unclear, it made for a great read!
Absolutely perfect ! On the Line is the follow up to On the Edge (Dublin Nites #2), and it was wonderful to catch up with Adam and Anna. The story moved at a fast pace but was still the beautiful love story of one of my favorite couples. So happy to go back to Dublin!!!
This is a novela and an ending to On the Edge. I didn't know there was more to the story, but this added an exciting ending. I will definitely read book 3
Wow it got you from page 1! This was just another awesome book by Brittney Sahin! Loved the mystery and the romance! Had me guessing until the end! I highly recommend this book!!

On the Line is a romantic suspense novella featuring Adam and Anna. It was nice to catch up with them in this fast paced thriller. I really enjoyed it.
Revenge, vengeance what a plot twist! When Anna goes missing Adam will stop at nothing to get her back, but a crazy cop who's set his sights for revenge after his wife and daughter are killed will make it difficult. What an awesome read!
Was hooked from the first page! This is a truly suspenseful novella. Each time you think you know who the kidnapper is you are proven wrong. Brittney did a fantastic job crafting this story to be a quick read, but keeping the reader hooked so they hate the idea of putting it down. I feel there is going to be more to come in this Dublin night’s series and am hoping That Hope is up next so we can discover what Sebastian Renaud’s story is.
As always, Brittney doesn't disappoint!! I loved getting more of Adam and Anna! His need to protect those he loves - especially Anna, knows no boundaries!! The cameos by Jake, Alexa and Xander were great also!! and OF COURSE Brittney caught interest with a peek at a future connected love story. This is a fabulous look at Adam & Anna's continued journey, and it met all expectations. Couldn't put it down!!
This really didn't need to be an entire book; it's more an extension of the first one, really. Or perhaps that may have been the point? Perhaps I missed something. EDIT: Yep. I missed it. I didn't realize this was considered a novella of the series, which would explain why it felt way short. Wish I picked up on that the first time.
That being said, the story definitely goes RIGHT to the point without any buildup whatsoever (not that I'm saying a buildup was needed though), with one of our main characters being put under some strained circumstances that must be rectified ASAP. And that urgency is what translates to the pages. With the exception of specific character moments, there isn't much fleshed out here. It's an unfortunate event that occurred and it's quickly finding a solution.
I feel like this book is in one huge hurry, (which makes sense with it being a novella). And to be fair, it feels appropriate considering the dire circumstances in which hurrying is a MUST. It definitely made it an extremely easy read. Like, I literally finished this in a couple hours at most. But, there's still downsides feeling so rushed. For example, there were many names of new characters being thrown at me that I found myself forgetting. It's very dialogue-heavy, which normally isn't a complaint of mine (major dialogue fan, here), but if it's all coming at me rapid-fire too often at a time, I sometimes lose track of who's talking and what little details were introduced about them. There were too many seemingly easy answers to everything, too picture-perfect. And even when it all ends, I was like, geez really? The entire thing felt just entirely too simple even despite the seriousness of what was happening.
I will say this, though. I think the most effective thing I appreciated was getting into Adam's head this go around. The author did a fine job of stressing how an extremely stressful circumstance can prey on our minds, gnawing at us, toying with us, manhandling us. It really was the one main thing that grounded me from the rapid pace of the story, to make me adequately fearful of what could happen based purely on the characters' perspectives. That's the one thing that kept the rating a solid 3 stars, no change from the former book's rating. Plus, it introduced me to Holly's perspective and, what appears to be a budding love interest on her end. I'm curious about THAT little tidbit. Looks like that's what the next book in the series is gonna cover.
"On The Line" a Dublin Nights Novel, book 2 by Brittney Sahin
**Spoiler Alert**
It was meant to be the happiest day of their lives but the day didn’t go as planned. Adam was anxious. He knew something was wrong and to find her missing? He thought his world was falling apart. Who would have taken her and why?
The police were not working fast enough. He needed to find her and now. If she was hurt or God for it.. dead? He would not be able to carry on with life. She was his world and losing her would be his undoing. It would be the end of him.
Anna is trying to keep calm. He isn’t making any sense. She has to keep him talking. Keep hiding off the gun he is holding. She can feel his pain from across the room but why is he directing this at her?
Precious moments pass and he is losing his ever loving mind. So many accusations and he doesn’t know what to believe. Would his father really be guilty of that? He cannot believe it but his focus has to be no Anna and getting her back…
Wow what a story! So much drama and suspense. I love that Brittney brought in some of the characters of the Hidden Truths Series.
This book will have you sitting at the edge of your seat. The pain of losing a loved one and the lengths that person is willing go in order to find justice….
Beautifully written with the right amount of drama, love and so much more. I am excited to read about Holly and what drives her to be who she is. Not use if she is in the next book but I am about to find out. “The Real Deal” is next…

This installment of Dublin Nights won me over. Number 1 was tedious and under developed. This little novella, Number 2, was worth the read and really started to bring some of the Dublin Nights universe together with the introduction of Marco and Maggie, and Alexa and Jake, and Sebastian the devil.
The story in this installment was Adam and Anna's wedding that ended in an abduction. It took an interesting turn of bringing in Jake's crew to solve the abduction and make sure that Anna was home safe and sound. But it also had a strange tangent of this random character who did the abducting. I mean, I'm all for random characters, but I honestly thought the abductor was going to be Jax rather than a complete stranger introduced toward the end. Kind of left me scratchin' my noggin a little bit.
Overall, I'm excited to keep moving through the series now that the military rom aspect has been salvaged for me. And Sahin's writing was much sharper in this installment, avoiding the repeated whine of the trope. Worth the read.
Book 2 of the Dublin Nights. Another amazing example of the great writing style of Brittney Sahin. This one was a shorter book, aka novella, but it is (in my opinion) a 150 page prologue to book 3, The Real Deal. It’s the wedding day of Anna and Adam (Book 1 ~ On The Edge). Of course, things can’t just go smooth! Anna is missing. Well, bring in Marco (from The Story of Us) who calls in Alexa and Jake (Hidden Truths 4 ~ Surviving the Fall). I love the way the stories all tie in each other throughout all Brittney Sahin’s series. As I go through, I’ll try to share the tie-in’s. So, we have a missing Anna, and someone who is targeting the family, but nobody knows why. The Garda (local police in Ireland) can’t figure it out, but Jake and Alexa manage to get the answers within hours; she’s ‘that’ good. While they’re in Ireland, Jake and Alexa also find answers to another unsolved case (kinda the catalyst to Anna getting kidnapped) and they forward that to the local Garda.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. We pick up right where we left off, it’s Adam and Anna’s big day, but the bride is nowhere to be found, she would never just leave him stranded at the altar and Adam knows that, now all he has to do is figure out what happened and where she is and who took her. Their story is full of suspense, danger and is action packed, keeping you on the edge of your seat wondering if Adam will find the love of his life in time? With help from all his friends, Adam holds out hope that they will be reunited and have the day and life they planned for. Loved this book, you feel the anguish that Adam is going through trying to find Anna, you want to be right there helping to find her and that’s what makes a great book. I highly recommend this book, can’t say enough, no spoilers from me, it’s a definite read! I can’t wait for what’s to come next!
Quick Info Standalone/Cliffhanger?: Standalone Part of a Series?: Yes ---------------------------------- Meeting the Characters Adam Anna ---------------------------------- What happens? Anna goes missing on what is supposed to be the happiest day of her and Adam's lives. Adam knows she hasn't gone missing because shes run away, someone has taken her and is now trying to pick off Adam's family along with it. He has to find her and end this madness. Final thoughts This was fine, it wasn't really a romance with Anna not being in this. It was more him trying to find her and piece parts of what is going on together albeit slowly. I gave it a 3 because I think it wasn't necessary for this series. It didn't add anything aside from tie up a loose end that could have been in the first book? Would I read again?: Yes Would I read this author again?: Yes Would I continue on with the series?: Yes
So, you start this story where "On The Edge" leaves off... with Adam and Anna engaged and trying to get married. With their wedding already once postponed by the heart attack of Adam's father, they are trying again... only to have Anna missing. Everyone fears cold feet, but Adam knows his fiancee and suspects foul play. With a wonderful cross-over from both The Safe Bet series and Marco from The Story Of Us, you get to see many of the characters you love after they have gotten their "happily ever after"... even though it can be read as a complete stand-alone book, it's nice to see others from Brittney's world with successful love stories. The story runs smoothly and does not feel forced nor does it feel drawn out as sometimes they can feel when trying to mix love, action, suspense, and kidnapping in one book. It's also a great introduction to Holly and Sebastian! I can't wait for Dublin Nights 3 and their story to unfold.
