“For what he stole from me, I'll decapitate what he loves. For his broken promises to protect me, I'll make sure he never feels safe. And where he feels content, I'll burn it to the ground. I’m going to strangle every piece of happiness that he possesses.”

Yeahsooo... I cannot stress enough how there was no hope of Wyatt really redeeming himself in this story. Her forgiveness was absurdity to the nth degree. And it really sucks because prior to the events at the end of book 1, I freaking LOVED them. Every scene where they weren't together I was just wanting to rush through until it was over. Their banter and chemistry was phenomenal!! And then.... the ending. When we jump right in at book 2 and what she ends up enduring as a result of everything... Nope. So yeah, this book really didn't stand a chance. The characters got stupid. The MCs romance was dead in the water. It was all doomed from the start.
