Well, I got what I was expecting when it came to Ruger’s book!! Ruger does not play by any rules, and he’s one crude bastard who is convinced he doesn’t have the ability to love anyone. His sister has gone missing and Ruger thinks she was taken by human traffickers.. Hawke ( the president of the Souless Bastards MC) has brought in a woman named Kira to help find Angie. When Ruger meets Kira he doesn’t feel she’s tough enough to help out.. mainly because of her own trauma from when she was captured by the human traffickers. Ruger finds out really quick that there is more to Kira than meets the eye! She’s one tough cookie and that turns him on!!!LOL!!! Literally!😂
These books are definitely getting much better in the story department! This one got a lower rating from me because I didn’t care much for Ruger. He is very unconventional and his methods disgust me. He tortures his enemies not with his fists... but with his dick.😳 Yup! You read that right.. he enjoys sodomizing his enemies for information. This left a bad taste in my mouth.. When I read a dark themed story, I always expect the worst! This just turned me off the hero from the get go. The storyline itself was good though and besides Ruger’s unconventional methods I tolerated the rest very well!

Cat 5 hurricane coming and it's brutal, heartless and is named Ruger. This man is definitely a force to be reckoned with especially when it comes to someone taking his baby sister. Now, add in the young woman who has already escaped the men who have his sister and the fire she lights within his soul..make her a target and see this storm become something that will totally change the landscape. Ruger is rough, brutal and a man who has no heart, no soul. The only thing he cares about besides his brothers/club is his baby sister and she is missing. Kira is the young woman who has come in with Hawk to help Ruger find his sister. She has been there, she knows what is happening to her and she wants to help. Ruger accepts at first but seeing her flinch when he just touches her hand he is totally against her doing anything to help. She fights him tooth and nail and finally gets her way.
The relationship between these two is almost volatile in nature, but it works for them. There is no gentleness with these two, it is hardcore and rough all the way. He loves it, and so does she. He gives her what she needs to forget, she gives him what he needs. What they don't see coming is either of them getting what they weren't expecting.
Raw, exciting, intriguing storyline with characters who are so complex you watch with baited breath as they peel away the layers from each other until you finally get to see the real people beneath those layers. Exceptional read that will bring you to the edge and keep you there. Definitely recommend this book!

Dirty, Gritty, and so fucking HOTTT! I feel like I have been waiting ages to get to know Ruger and now that I have I don't think I will ever want to let him go. The back and forth between Ruger and Kira is amazing, they are seriously a match made in Hell for each other. This will continue to be on re-read list for years to come along with all of Erins other books.

What can say , Mctwisty strikes again !!!! Ruger is in a class of his own when it comes to a black heart , the only chink in it is for his missing sister . Kira vows to help him find his sister , I think it’s a way of getting closure for herself after her own kidnapping by traffickers as much as helping him . These are two damaged souls who shouldn’t be together, it shouldn’t work but it does . Kira , you have to like she’s been through the mill and come out the other side but Ruger you shouldn’t like, I’m not sure if I did .... if I met him I wouldn’t he would scare the crap out of me. That’s why this book and Erin’s writing is so good .... I didn’t like him as a person but god did I want him to win, to find his sister and to fall in love with Kira. He’s the ultimate anti hero .

Ruger's sister has been taken and he needs to find and rescue her, he has help from Kira who with the help of Hawk and her dad had been saved herself, and now that she's in the open she's back on the kidnappers radar. Can Ruger protect Kira and can he find and save Angie with the the help of his brothers he certainly hopes so.
This is a fast paced and action packed thrilling story from start to finish.

Ruger has stolen my heart! I think this my new favourite book by Erin Trejo. I couldn’t put my kindle down. I was hanging on the edge of my seat till the very last page.

Ruger is one heck of an alpha male, he cares about no one except his sister and his brothers in the MC. Kira is such a strong woman and been thru hell and back. She is helping him find his sister, but it seems they are helping each other with more than that. These two together are holy hot! They are exactly what each other needs

wow this was the third book and i loved it! he is one bad man who does really bad things to people. he wants his sister back. he meets her thanks to his president. now he just wants some fun from her but she is damaged. a must read!

OMG!!! Ruger: Soulless Bastard MC So Cal story is filled with danger, drama, violence and passion, you will be on edge from beginning to end. If you thought the men of the Soulless Bastards MC No Cal were sexy, bad bikers with a heart, than you are in for a real treat with this story as only Erin Trejo can tell. So excited that Ruger got his story, loved him!! Everyone thinks Ruger is crazy with his actions and preferences, but he does not care all he cares about is his club, sister and how he gets the job done as only Ruger can. Now he is on a quest to find his missing sister and finds himself thrown together with Kira by his president who is beautiful, determine and courageous. She is trying to get closure from her abduction and abuse by the same men who took Ruger's sister. She vows to help him and he fights her all the way. The chemistry between these two is passionate and seductive. As these two love and fight together with the rest of the brotherhood, you will be on one hell of a wild ride with all of the twists and turns that arise as developments unfold to take these men down. This book is a must read and I can't wait for Crow's story! Thank you Erin!!!

I didn’t know what to think of this book but once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. Ruger is a rough man and really doesn’t care what others think. When he meets Kira he doesn’t think she can help finds his sister but what does he have to lose. This book is a roller payer of emotion and trust. Awesome writing.

Loved it!
Erin's books always grab my attention from the very beginning and don't let go til the end. This one was no different.
Ruger is rough, like the rest of the Soulless Bastards, maybe even a bit rougher. Kira is sassy and hell bent on helping Ruger weather he wants her help or not.

5 Plus Sick and Sexy Stars
I've waited for Ruger's story knowing that it would be a sick and twisted story of this man who lives on dealing out pain. The one thing that you will find in his book is that this man does have a heart especially for his sister Angie who has been kidnapped and is being kept by human traffickers.
Kira is brought to the clubhouse by Hawk hoping she can help with some info on the people who may have taken Angie. Now if only Rugar will trust that she won't break. Rugar doesn't know if he should tie her down or let her in. She is every bit the feisty woman that Rugar needs in his life but he doesn't do relationships...or so he says.
Be ready for a book that will pull you in and won't let go. Rugar and Kira's story will set the pages on fire so be prepared. I cannot wait for the next book in this series because everyone one of them have definitely been winners.

He makes no apologies for the way he is- like it or not he doesn't care, in fact he doesn't even think about you lol.
One thing Ruger is though, and that is protective. When someone close to him goes missing he will stop at nothing to get them back. No one is safe until he has them where they belong, with him. Buckle up and strap on your helmet you are gonna need it!

First let me preface this review by saying I first fell in love with Ruger in during the Soulless Bastards North Cal Chapter series. I have (not so) patiently been waiting for his story. As I waited the more I realized I was setting myself up for a big disappointment as I was building too much anticipation and expectation from Trejo to bring Ruger to life. That being said…..

Ruger doesn’t only live up to my high expectations, but exceeds them! Ruger is the true definition of a Soulless Bastard, getting his enjoyment both physically and mentally from causing others pain and torment. He only loves one thing more than dishing out wickedness, and that’s his little sister, Angie. When she disappears, he set about tearing the world apart to find her and make those who took her pay. Nothing will stand in his way including his own self-deprecation. That is until he lays eyes upon Kira. One look into Kira’s eyes and Ruger can tell she is haunted and broken. But he also sees the inner strength and fire she has in order to survive her past. Kira wants nothing more than to help Ruger find his sister while helping other girls escape the evil that haunts her and get retribution for her own broken soul. But when Ruger pushes Kira’s help aside for her own protection, Kira fights him blood, tooth and nail. Only Kira doesn’t know Ruger lives for that fight.
Ruger is depravity at its finest. Ruger leaves the reader breathless, questioning their own moral turpitude and starving for the next chapter of SoCal Soulless Bastards.
Note to Trejo: I’m sure I am not the only fan who would love to see a series spin-off featuring Spirit MC.

Man I don't know who I love more Ruger or Kiri. OK yes he has done some AWFUL stuff some stuff that had him labeled or considered gay. . . well few have lived to tell the tell. He's not a good man, doesn't pretend to be either. This chapter of Soulless are ruthless to the core and yeah he is the one to fear. Now he's on a rampage and if he isn't bad enough on his own fighting for his girls???? Let's just say it ain't pretty. I love this and yeah him too. This author pairs him with a hot tempered woman who isn't going to be put back into anyone's control. She escaped hell once and she's going to do what it takes to bring hell to those that imprisoned her. Oh and she ain't going down without a fight, no she wouldn't fit Ruger if she did. They are an explosive combination that will rock you to your core. It isn't an easy or pretty read, come on you've seen what he's done in the past and this time it's personal. It's gonna take some time to get this book off my mind. Well that's what we want but . . . man.

I was excited to read Ruger’s story. After his...um, unconventional way to get someone to talk in Prospect, I was curious about him.
I had a tough time with this book. I wanted more of who Ruger was, what made him tick. We didn’t get much of that.
Also, I didn’t like Kira. I tried. I thought she was all over the place. She didn’t want men to touch her, yet she was ready for sex.
As with the other books in the series, there are too many grammatical errors for me, starting on page 3.
But there were things I liked!
The cover is stunning.
The story kept me involved and curious to find out what was going to happen.
I love the interactions with the brothers, and their loyalty to each other and to their club.
The sex is hot!! Wow! Far from vanilla!!
The way Ms Trejo’s pushes the boundaries of her characters is amazing. Her characters are gritty and dirty, they love hard and live harder!

Lacking in character
I love Erin Trejo. She has been rocking dark characters for awhile. Ruger really wasn't dark. Some would say twisted. Sure he had some kinks but we don't kink shame. To each their own.
The problem is we learn only a tiny bit about who Ruger really is. He talks about him and his sister being raised in the system and that making him who he is. He spends most of his time helping Kira and his sister. Don't get me wrong that is awesome but he is constantly saying he is a horrible person yadda yadda yadda.
Oh, don't kink shame cause he and Kira show everyone their kink almost daily. Somehow this helps her. To each their own.
The only thing you really take away from this book...Ruger has a low opinion of himself and there is lots of heat. Nice erotica.
I love Erin Trejo. She has been rocking dark characters for awhile. Ruger really wasn't dark. Some would say twisted. Sure he had some kinks but we don't kink shame. To each their own.
The problem is we learn only a tiny bit about who Ruger really is. He talks about him and his sister being raised in the system and that making him who he is. He spends most of his time helping Kira and his sister. Don't get me wrong that is awesome but he is constantly saying he is a horrible person yadda yadda yadda.
Oh, don't kink shame cause he and Kira show everyone their kink almost daily. Somehow this helps her. To each their own.
The only thing you really take away from this book...Ruger has a low opinion of himself and there is lots of heat. Nice erotica.

Ruger has been looking for his sister for months after she was abducted but he hasn't had much luck...that is until Hawk brings in someone with a possible insight into the matter.
Kira has come to help the MC and Ruger to help locate his sister because of her first hand knowledge of being abducted. Kira was rescued from them and now she is willing to help others escape too.
Ruger and Kira have formed an interesting..."thing" but it's NOT a relationship!!
Can Ruger find his sister and if he does can he rescue her from the forces of evil?? Or maybe she isn't even alive....

Ruger will do anything to find his sister and when his pres puts him in the lead position he knows he will move mountains to bring Angie home. When a woman that was taken by this same group of traffickers he has mixed feelings. Kira seems so broken to him but in her brokenness he finds beauty and she makes him do something he never expected... he is feeling his heart. I loved this book and it literally had me biting my nails off. I was shocked and amazed by the story and fell more in love with all the characters from this series. I highly recommend this book and series. Erin Trejo is simply the most amazing author I have had the joy to read, she weaves a story around her reader and shows them a world they never want to leave. I hope to be reading her books for many years to come.
