Plenty of teenagers would kill for a chance to leave Earth behind and journey to Mars. But for Cal, that situation is pretty much reversed. One of only seven people ever born on the Red Planet, Cal dreams of returning to the homeland of his parents where, despite its many flaws, he can be free to live life his way. But Cal’s plan of getting back to Earth may have to be put on hold, as an unknown presence threatens the very existence of the boy, his family and everyone who now calls Mars their home.

Love the art style with colours, Listening the perfect music beats while reading to the end. I love Cal & the pirate crews better than Cal's friends to be honest. Cal had crushed on Jenn since they meet but to me Jenn & cal are boring relationship n complicated too. Rina & Cal - I can feel their bonding of friendship n sooner or later, they were become great couple someday 😉🙂.The story dialogue - is too long n boring from beginning until cal meet rina.

Basically I wanted to give this a read because it was on Webtoons romance section and it's good to read something different. I honestly love the fact, Volkorx provided such lit music to this webtoon because I probably would dropped the whole 35 chapters it if it wasn't for the music. The storyline and characters just weren't making any sense to me like I didn't know wtf was going on lol. It reminds me so much of the Star Trek franchise that I'm not really a big fan of so if you like anything to with that or just like space in general, this might be for you aliens!

This was the first web comic I’ve read that was 100% completed! I really enjoyed this one! You can tell the creators did a lot of research for this, and while the jargon can be a little confusing at times in the beginning, you can piece together what’s happening as things go on. The characters are pretty cool, but some of them can get a *little* annoying at times (but we’ve all been teenagers at one point, so I’ll forgive it!). The art is really good, and it kept me engaged when the story was a little slow towards the beginning! But when it picks up, it really reals you in! And the music is such a great addition! It really sets the atmosphere perfectly! I think this is a great read if you’re into things like Blade Runner, Voltron, or anything sci-fi! I know this got dropped from WEBTOON, but I do hope a second season is on its way on a different platform!

I love this webcomic! Its creators, Rod and Leanne Hannah, have clearly put a lot of thought into the details. The science is accurate and the exploration of upcoming questions in engineering is well-researched. The story also explores religion, politics, and human emotion in enough depth that Heartwired isn't just for fans of science fiction. The stunning art aids in understanding the plot.
