Lover's Bid

This was a great friends to lovers book. Two educated people who were best friends but always had that tickle of thought of what if. Cristine and Dylan spend plenty of time dancing around their feelings. When they come together it is explosive. A must read.

The corporation
This was a great book. It was nice Visitng the corporation again. This book also showed how issues in our childhood can dictate our emotional stability when we are adults. I would love to read a continuation of this story

Dylan!
I don’t know how I really feel about this book ! First all I could say was Dylan !, Dylan! Dang Dylan!!! He really worked my nerves for a large part of the story. Needless to sayI felt that this sexy man was so tormented with the thought that the people he loved the most always left him. That even though he consider himself “The Master” of love he was really afraid to be loved..He was so stunned when a women from his past won the Bid at the auction
He immediately started planing how to push her away....but did he really want to?
His college friend Christine had been searching all over for him and finally found him at Mama Peaches Fund Raiser Bachelor’s Auctions she was determined to be with Dylan so that she could finally get answers to some questions that had been hunting her since she and her best friend Dylan went their separate ways after Graduating from Law School. Was their more to what they had than just friendship. Christine was up to the challenge. However I don’t Think Dylan was ready for what she had to offer
I gave the story 4 stars only because I wanted to read more about these two and what life was like for them after Christie’s father’s
Birthday Party.

Friends to lovers for sure!
Best college friends Christine and Dylan meet up in the city of their Alma mater after both are successful attorneys. One thing Dylan did not count on is that Christine had harbored love of a different kind for him and while back in town pursued Dylan who is struggling with abandonment issues. He pushed her away although he too has been in love with her since college. She follows him to an exclusive adult club and a fundraiser in another city where she bids for him in a charity auction. She wins the bid which is a night with him. She succeed in getting him to bed her then pursues him until he pushes her away only to finally admit he loves her too. He follows her to her family's function and tells her he loves her and they begin moving toward a life together as business and marriage partners. Great story.

Loved It!!
Poor Dylan didn’t think he was capable of falling in love. His parents never showed him love and affection growing up. He didn’t get to experience that until he stayed with Mama Peaches. Cristine (Cris), his best friend since college, was in love with him, and wanted a relationship with him. He said he could never give her what she wanted or deserved. Cris didn’t give up on him until he pushed her away. It was only then that he realized that he was in love with her. He surprised her by attending her father’s birthday party. That’s when he finally told her that he loved her. I’m so glad he came to his senses! Thank you A.C. For this amazing contribution to the series!! ❤️🔥

This story was DEEP. I love a friends to lovers romance. Dylan was a tortured soull, existing with the thought that there was no place or need for romance and love in his life. Cris was a woman trying to define the next stage of her life both professionally and personally. Cris new there was more to her and Dylan's relationship than friendship and dhevwas determined to make him see it also. Read Dylan and Cris's story. Learn their struggles with themsrlves , each othet ,so called friends and family as the make their way to each other and happily ever after.

A Lover’s Bid: Lonely & Disjointed
“Lover’s Bid: Distinguished Gentlemen” was undoubtedly different perspective of a dual lifestyle. Thereafter, honestly I’m more conflicted and somewhat saddened for the troubled lonely Dylan. …hmmm, I’m curious why hadn’t Dylan never considered therapy? Also, Mama Peaches why didn’t nourish him either?. …This book just didn’t feel like once college best friends, legal colleagues turned into two lovers reuniting through a mutual agenda for a charitable community project. I’m baffled because Dylan (he) never shared his underlying desire for Cris, the non parental relationship nor his sexual proclivities with the adult Cristine. Maybe I missed something, but this novella, characters & storyline felt disjointed.

Unexpected journey between friends
Ok. I have read my fare share of A.C. Arthur stories so the technique and plot and character development was there. Now what I wasn't expecting was the opening act and how it would unfold beyond standard BDSM novels and include the friendship between Cris and Dylan. I think if you want something different than this story will wet your appetite.

Another Winner In This Series!!
Dylan and Cris! Another great couple who were best friends, went their separate ways and brought back together by a Bid! There were issues on both sides but they were eventually able to work through them. Another wonderful story and highly recommended! Kudos, A. C. Arthur! 💜

Hotness on steroids
So Ms. Authur has delivered sexiness in a short packet and it is was worth the journey. Dylan and Chris love radiated off the pages and although it took them a minute to see what everyone and the readers saw from the first time they were brought together. The sex was off the chain as well

If you know anything about this author, then you'll know that there's always a shock factor. It hit me in the face right at the beginning of the story. But that's what makes her such a great author. There's emotion all throughout the story and I haven't been disappointed with any of her stories. Great Job

This was fun and entertaining. I really liked it because it took more time with after the bid, we get to see the real after effects of it.
Cris & Dylan worked it out, and the journey of them getting there was fabulous. They definitely waded into grown folks territory, and I loved it.

Lover's Bid was an amazing book! I enjoyed this novella. I enjoyed the storyline and the romance between the couple in this book. I love reading about our type of love. This had me hooked from the beginning to the end. Ac Arthur books always draw me in.
