LOVED IT!!!!

Why does this author get me every time?!?
She makes me love the male lead with every book. It's an amazing talent that she has. The well written characters, the storyline, the ending..... :)

Every time I want to read so much more, why do the books have to finish after two hundred pages? I need more!

Nick and Jenny are the perfect match. Everything about her Nick likes but obviously he's not going to admit that. He has a bad boy image to uphold and she's the sweet and innocent girl.

Jenny wants to be noticed, but she only wants to be noticed by one guy. That guy just happens to be Nick's best friend Scott. The funny guy. Nick being the secret sweetheart he is, he helps Jenny get Scott to notice her. Long story short she doesn't end up wanting Scott.

I loved every moment and it was such a quick, great read. I want to by her whole collection in paperback.

I don't have an option. This year will be only English books. Well, almost. Right now I'm reading free books from Kindle, and this is one of them. Although It's a simple story about the boy who helps the girl with another boy and in the process gets in love with her and she with him, I like it. It's short, funny, and light. Perfect for taking away some stress.

Jenny and Nick plot to get Scott's attention for Jenny but end up falling for each other. I think the description gives away the story. Luckily, I read that just now, whilst drafting this post.

For me, it was rather enjoyable, even though predictable. It is a nice and quick read. I'd say, go for it.

Detailed review is here.

Simple teenage romance
Jenny Jones has a massive crush on Scott. She enlists Nick’s help to get Scott to notice her. Nick who is in Jenny’s chemistry class, knows that Jenny is a good girl and at first he wants Jenny to get together with Scott. But as the two of them get together, Nick finds that he is falling for Jenny.
Cute, quick light romantic read.

Underwhelmed

I don't have a problem with predictable reads. This one though had no, let's say, humph to it. It was just words on a page. I felt nothing f or t h e characters. I didn't like them; I didn't d dislike them. They were just there. The book was just so blah.

Young Adult Romance

This is a sweet short story about a love triangle between 3 teenagers. Jenny realizes that the boy she's been in love with for most of her life although he's always friendly towards her, he barely even notices her as a potential girlfriend because she isn't anything like the type of girl he normally dates. You'll have to read the book to see what happens next!

'Notice Me’ really shows the skills Stella Wilkinson has. Once again, for the second time, I read this book in one breath. I didn’t even stop reading when I went to close my door.
She has written this romance novel in such a way that I could not stop myself from rooting for the real couple here. She speaks vividly and I have felt butterflies in my stomach as I read this, at moments. At other moments I felt hot and my eyes lingered on the story, as I sped through the words. I remember the first time I read this and how strongly I wanted to find out what would happen.
It was just after I reread the first chapter, this time, that I remembered most of the story. I remembered the important events and the luscious details. And yet, still, I could not help but wonder what exactly would happen, what words would be spoken and what sentences be thought.

*SPOILER ALERT!*

That aside, I was also pleasantly surprised, once again, about how much I liked this ‘two points of view’ thing Stella has got going here. First almost the entire story through the eyes of Jenny, which just made me want more. Even though she is so unaware, most of the time, there is a chemistry, so obvious to the 'outstanding person’ (jus kidding, playing with words), to the reader. And then… Ai ai aiii, then I read the story from the perspective of Nick and it got even cuter, a lot actually. It was amazing. Reading into the mind of Nick was just totally heart melting, pulse spiking, butterfly feeling, ‘hotness'.
I really loved reading this book. It is so sweet that you either, probably, will glow by the feeling of love if you have someone in your life to share those feelings with, or you jus’t can’t be bothered by your own mess and pain because you’re just so happy for the main characters who fall in love and then find it.

This came through as The Boyfriend Plot on my Kindle so I guess there's been a name change or there's been multiple names.

This what you could call short and sweet. Don't expect any deep and meaningfulness at any point because there just isn't. Jenny and Scott have known each other for ages but it's not like they really know each other. They just have been at the same school for ages. Jenny has her seventeenth birthday and catches her boyfriend kissing someone else and is devastated. She hides and is found by Scott who cheers her up and walks her home. He is so wonderfully nice she develops a crush on him and months later decides she needs to do something to get Scott to notice her. She brings in her lab partner, Nick, who is the bad boy of the school, supposedly. To be honest, there's not really any evidence for this in the story but it's just assumed. Anyway, Nick can read Jenny easily and soon there's a plan for Nick to help Jenny get the notice of Scott.

The story is pretty cliche but there is something a bit different here. The better part of the first half of the book is written from Jenny's point of view and most the last half is the same story but from Nick's point of view. The last chapters are again from Jenny's POV and then it's over. I'm not quite sure what I think of this tactic but it is kind of interesting and then maybe not so much. We do learn more when we read the story again but I don't know if the male POV brings enough to the story to make it all that worth it. Usually the point of view alternates between main characters through the story.

Still it's a cute story and it was worth a couple hours to read. I'd probably give it 2.5 stars due to the limitations of the what's there. I will say it's nice to see a story where the characters all seem to be decent. At least what we see of them.

Oh man, I wish I didn't have a weakness for Stella's books, but I totally do.

It's not that they're particularly great or anything. The storylines are pretty generic, short, and flat; her writing kind of annoys me; the covers and titles are a little dumb; and overall, if it weren't for some of the scenes in here, I'd think it was actually a middle-grade book.
It's not bad, but it's also not great.

Yet, this is the 9th book I've read from her. And yes, I plan to get the rest of the series. Don't judge. xD

Anyway, this isn't my favorite from her (that would probably be The Flirting Games) but it was nice for a quick and easy read to rest a bit before commiting to the ride that will be War Storm.

Until next time, Stella.

A cliche story about the high school bad boy falling for the shy quiet girl but it was good.

Predictable and Placid but Cute

The Boyfriend Plot is a quick, light read with a familiar trope. Boy helps girl garnish the attention of a crush, while he begins to fall for her. Even though the story was predictable, it was cute. There were a few edit issues, but they didn't cloud the story.

Really odd that the title was changed from Notice Me to The Boyfriend Plot.

This book gave me all the feels

This book gave me so many feelings aaaaaah. It was amazing. The characters are so well developed. The writing was effortless and didn't pull me out at all. It was like watching a fricken award winning romantic movie. Just... Sigh.. In love. And seriously I'm officially in love with Nick. You did an amazing job with him. A lot of writers would have made him unappealing because of his bad boy vibe. But you dear author made him the kindest sweetest boy I've ever met and I really wish he was real. Just... Thank you so much for writing this book. I for one can say it changed me and made my fricken month. ❤️

Stella Wilkinson's books are young adult which is not something I typically read. However, they are great books for all ages.

Jenny has a big crush on Scott and recruits her friend Nick to help her get him to notice her. Along the way, she and Nick get closer and discover they have feelings for each other.

Cute romantic romp

Young love, first loves are some of the most memorable times in life. Realistic and likable characters make this a fun read. It took me back to my teen-age years and made me smile. I look forward to the next book in this series.

It was so cute and cringe sometimes, but I've read it because I needed something like that so when I found it on Amazon for free I promptly started reading - I needed bad boy, nerd girl and cute, naive romance. And it was exactly what I wanted it to be. <3

Cute quick but predictable read

I liked this book, it was such an easy read and was very cute and PG13! It was fairly predictable and ended quite abruptly which was the reason I knocked a couple of stars off!

I loved this book you guys! (Insert lovey-dovey eyes here ) I totally fell for Nick too! I liked how he cared for Jenny, realizing how she wasn't enjoying that alcoholic drink and swooped in like a knight in shining amour and gave her one without, seriously ny heart was just busting with cuteness!

Cheesy and Basic

This book was really cheesy and basic. The plot was a simple line, and the characters had no depth. The author held our hand the whole time, over-explaining things that didn't need to be said.

Wrong rating

I liked the story but the rating of 13+ was not accurate. It should have been higher because of talk about sexual situations, sexual innuendos, a male out scene with groping and a spooning situation. If it was rated appropriately it would be a nice read

This book was slow in the beginning but it picked up and got good towards the middle and end it’s a guy falls for girl trope but girl has eyes for another guy. It’s really good. It’s YA but not a YA where it feels super young. No spice too

I thought I outgrew my Romantic story stage until I picked this one up. It has me from the start with those first words "How do I get a boy to notice me" till the end.

Love the story!

There were many stories about this type of plot, but I also like this one. I like your books, Stella. But I wish I had kindle unlimited.
