Wonderfully fantastic... The book was amazing... It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it... The characters and their personalities match them perfectly... The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing...

I enjoyed this Alien/Earthling story. It was a steamy hot, sexy story about Alien abduction. Abby finds herself taken by a hot, handsome but scary alien. She is to be trained in the ways to please her future alien mate but it's not something she wants. Zaroff is her trainer, a big muscled, handsome alien who has the task of teaching her how to not only please her mate, but to show respect, not to argue, no cursing and to obey immediately. Zaroff finds Abby pleasing and seems to be forming a bond with her. Abby is also finding that she prefers Zaroff to the unknown alien king she was chosen for. Abby's training includes a few tests and a lot of discipline, she is mouthy and curses often but also shows disrespect to her trainer. Her discipline and training include learning how to show her obedience, stripping down to nudity and accepting her punishments along with voicing her apologies and promising to be better. Sex or versions of sex are a part of her learning as are the many exams and tests to see how compatible she will be for the Ruler. Along with the many sexual scenarios, there is another alien species that is trying to take Abby which puts her and the rest of her alien abductors in danger. The world building is great, her life on the ship she is on is fascinating and we learn about it all as Abby does. There are a few endearing characters that surround Abby, to help care for the human and feed and provide for her. In the end, I found myself excited and worried at times, but always anticipating more of the story to reveal the purpose of Abby's abduction and place among the Ratheon Aliens. I loved little Cosmo and the twist revealed towards the end of the story. I highly recommend this book, it kept my interest and satisfied what I look for in a book, my undivided attention until the last page with a HEA.

Abby is a scientist following her dreams in space. Suddenly she is abducted and taken aboard an alien spacecraft where she is being forced to train as a possible mate for a mysterious Ruler. Pulled from the only life she knows and into one she finds hard to believe, Abby is surrounded by strange sights and sounds, and aliens telling her what to do. Foremost, is Zaroff, the one who will train her in the ways of the Ruler's people. Zaroff is handsome, stern and very willing to punish Abby for misbehavior. As their relationship changes and grows, Abby finds herself once again questioning just about everything she knows. There are a lot of alien books out currently. I've enjoyed some and others feel as if the story could be set anywhere and the author just slapped a spacesuit on a handsome man and called him an alien. That is not the case here. Ms. Carpenter takes the reader to a new, creative world in every sense. This world unfolds before our eyes just as it does for Abby. Our questions are Abby's questions. Abby is chided at times for having so many, but the reader is grateful because EVERYTHING about this world is new and unique. The creativity and wonder the author provides does not take away from the relationships of the central characters. Getting to know each other really means something when you are from different planets. Challenges are everywhere from enemies, technologies, and most off all, from basic emotions. This was a great read that puts the reader in Abby's shoes as she experiences the unimaginable. The plot is strong, varied, fast-paced, and contains a good dose of humor. If you want to read a steamy, unique story, pick this one!

SOMETHING IS IMPOSSIBLE ONLY UNTIL IT ISN’T
I enjoyed this sci-fi story that starts on Mars and goes through space. Abby Walker is from Earth but works on Earth’s first colony on Mars. She will be abducted during a raid by Ratheons because she is deemed special and their Ruler wants her for a mate.
The story is full of mystery, suspense, danger—and even attraction and passion. Abby will undergo all kinds of testing by Zaroff for the Ruler. But what happens when she develops feelings for Zaroff? She has been promised that she can reject the offer of the ruler and return to Earth or Mars, the choice will be hers. Throw in another alien race that is sent to attack and steal Abby away, and the story takes on life and death.
The more time that Abby spends with Zaroff, the closer she becomes to him, but he tells her she is selected for the Ruler. He will punish her one minute and bring her sexual pleasure the next. What happens when Abby suffers from Deep Space Depression? What will pull her out and restore her well-being? When she meets the Ruler, it will have three people present, The Ruler, Zaroff, and Abby—will she capitulate or stick to her plan of refusing his offer?

She is told the choice to stay with the Ruler or return to Earth will be hers, but only after her training Is complete and she has been presented to him. Until then, she must submit to Zaroff. Unfortunately, this is not a book for me. Punishment themes bother me, so I skipped over quite a bit and have nothing nice to say about those parts. I didn’t see much character development, or maybe that was on the pages I skipped. I will diligently watch in the future so I don’t grab this kind of book again. If a guy hit me and treated me or spoke to me like that, I wouldn’t rest until I could push him out an airlock. So I saw nothing enticing about this book. My apologies to those who liked it.

Enjoyed reading Training by the Alien . Abby a scientist was captured , being trained by Zaroff for the Ruler. Abby isn't going to let it happen if she can help it. Least not be easy for them to train her. Zaroff has a say to make sure she does what she supposed to. Spanking her let her know that she can be good girl or be punished. In the end Will she be able to walk away , or will she stay ? Now that she has feeling for Zaroff ,she doesn't want the Ruler,

Abby is working on Mars when she is abducted by the Ratheons to become the bride of their king. Zaroff promises that Abby can reject the king once she meets him, but she still needs to be trained for him. Zaroff is handsome, stern and punishes Abby for her disobedience. Abby finds herself falling in love with Zaroff and decides that she will reject the king in favor of Zaroff. I liked Abby's character. She is so questioning of everything and not accepting the easy answer. The author writes a compelling story that you will enjoy! This was an awesomely well-written book that I really enjoyed with exceptionally crafted characters. The story and characters hooked me from the beginning and I could not stop reading until late at night. I loved the characters while watching them grow together and they went well together. I found this book fascinating with great word building which made me feel apart of the story as it unfolded in front of me. A must read for any fan of Spankings and Discipline and I can't wait to read more from this author.

I had received this book as a ARC read and voluntarily provide my review. This book is about Abby and Zaroff. Zaroff captures Abby and trains her to be an appropriate mate for the Master. Sort of a BDSM type. Through her training there’s lots of spankings, sex scenes etc. This story also has a twist/surprise at the end. Overall it was an ok read. I have read other stories by this author and this fell a bit short. A lot of the scenes especially with the space dialogue was a bit boring, I found myself skipping a bit.

As she realizes that she can not accept the offer to be the ruler's wife, she only yearns to belong to Zaroff. But there is a deception of foot. It is a delightful switch about to take place. I'm sorry, but you will have to read the book to find out the rest. This is of course for adults only reading. Delicious subject matter to be sure!

Abby is abducted from Mars by Zaroff for their leader's pleasure. Abby under goes many thoughts and BDSM experiences before she finally meets the leader. Will she elect to stay with him or return to Earth or Mars ? It's Zaroff's duty to prepare her for life with their leader. Will she be happy and stay understanding aliens are real and one wants to mate her. Thi story definitely has a surprise ending making it worth while to read.

I absolutely loved this story. It was entertaining, romantic, unique and intriguing. Zaroff and Abby start out a little rough and for most of the story you are not sure where they are going. The twist at the end was very well done. I enjoyed the suspense with the Faylins and Cosmo sounds adorable. I want one. A great book that you won’t want to put down.

What an interesting, intriguing, tantalizing storyline Maggie Carpenter has given us with Abby and Zaroff. If you've read the teaser, then you have a brief synopsis of what's going on. What you don't get is the emotional rollercoaster and mystery that is tied into the plot. This was a wonderful getaway that came at the most opportune time for me.

I read this a few years ago and recently reviewed certain parts. All I can say is that the sex scenes are super hot, and it has some of my favorite spanking scenes. However, I cannot stand this kind of misogynistic fantasy stories. Whenever I read anything outside of sex, I feel irritated. I will try to only read about sex in these kinds of stories from now forward.

This is another steamy read with loveable characters and a intriguing storyline. There is passion, danger, suspense and intrigue. This is another tantalizing, steamy read and I would recommend it. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an advanced reader copy.

This is an interesting story. I liked the premise, but I couldn’t decide if the dialogue seemed a bit off, or if it was just right for two different species getting to know one another. Overall, pretty good.
