This work is, for the most part, a first-hand account of the events in China during the 1930's. It is written by a missionary from the Southern Baptist Convention. It is a good description of the events with little analysis. Though, in the end, C. L. Culpepper does list the major factors, or results, of the Revival in the Shantung province.
It is well worth a read, I believe, for every Christian. It challenges, convicts, and encourages the faith.
A beautiful, sweet, and powerful account of the work of the Holy Spirit in and amongst the Chinese people, pastors' and overseas missionaries in the Shantung Province of China from 1927 to 1937.
C.L. Culpepper was a missionary to China during the Shantung Revival. This is a must read for anyone who wishes to discover the secrets to a Holy Spirit sent revival. America is in need of such a revival. The two keys to revival are united prayer and the preaching of the law.
