Only, Freya keeps pulling me back in. When she is threatened, I’ll stop at nothing to keep her safe. Even if that means going against my club.
Bronx is the third book in The Lost Boys MC series.
Savannah Rylan is a romance writer that spends most of her time writing and reading with her cat, Gris. When not penning the next great American novel, (HA), you can find her on the beach with a drink in her hand or at the gym testing out some strange new position. Yoga, obviously. She lives in Southern California with her husband and Gris, the true love of her life.
Freya and Bronx found each other by chance, he rescued her from an assault not knowing their lives were already destined to be joined by his MCs family and blood. The blood of a half sister who happened to be engaged to his MCs President. Freya is in search of her half sister and she finds more than she bargained for...
Gosh. I don't even know where to go with this one. There were some aspects that I liked about the book--Freya's story and how it ties in with the previous book was really good. And then there were others that I disliked immensely--the super rushed romance and the abrupt ending that leaves you going, "Wait. That's it?" Sigh. I should have seen that one coming given the last book. Oh well. I guess I'm not too mad because I'm reading them on KU, so I'm not paying per book. If you're doing it that way and make the series like it's a big mini series, I guess it's interesting. If I were to pay for each book, I'd be ticked.
Freya's dad is the president of the Celtic Riders MC down in Arizona, but they used to be active up in the San Diego area. They're a one percenter club who used to be into a lot worse things like drugs but have cleaned up their act quite a bit. One day, she finds a picture of a young woman behind another photograph. When she questions her mother and father about it, she gets vague answers--all except for two things: half-sister, San Diego. Against her mother's wishes, she goes searching and runs into Bronx after a run-in with a creeper. Bronx is a member of The Lost Boys MC and tells Freya that he'll help her find her sister, but when bad things start happening, Freya realizes that she's in way over her head.
Bronx is The Lost Boys MC's numbers guy. He's already feeling bad about the fact that he didn't know a prospect they let into the club was actually a cop, so when he meets Freya and finds out that she might be connected to the club, he's a bit gun-shy. Could it be another trap? Or is she genuinely trying to find her half-sister? She seems like a sweet, beautiful girl, and he's really into her, but going down this path could be dangerous for her, especially with the Chinese looming down the club's throat and a vengeful detective on their tail.
So yeah, this one is hard to judge for me because I DO like where the author is going with Freya's storyline and the rest of the overarching story. It's just...the romance was WAY rushed. Like, even more rushed than in Stone, and again, it felt like everything was left dangling in the air. I *believe* that this storyline wraps up in the next book, so I'm going to finish it out. However, I'm just not sure if I can pick up more afterward.
Gritty and swoon-worthy, this MC romance is superb! Sometimes life hands you candy to enjoy and sometimes it hands out lemons for one’s lemonade, but when you are the money guy for the LOST BOYS MC, it is easy to wonder if life has overlooked you. That is until one fateful evening when out of the corner of his eye, Bronx sees something that requires his quick action. That action, a rescue, begins a whirlwind romance that teeters like the ups and downs of a colossal roller-coaster, but since this is a Savannah Rylan MC romance, we know it will end happily, or at least happy for now. Bronx is the man that has kept the LOST BOYS MC solvent over the last decade and moving towards the legitimate business moguls which the members of the club long to become. With an increasing number of the core members finding their true loves and growing families, Bronx is tasked with keeping the books, laundering the money, and keeping the young woman he rescued from creating what will surely spell trouble for his crew, and possibly bring hurt down on his club. There are so many twists and turns in this plot, my focus was total, my investment was complete, and real-life issues faded away. I loved Freya and when her heart hurt, I needed tissues. When her heart rejoiced, I laughed out loud. When her happy ending finally presented, I sighed a sigh of deep satisfaction just before I realized with horror that I had come to the end of “BRONX,” and now I would have to wait until the next LOST BOYS MC romance is published to get back into Rylan’s MC world! I voluntarily read an advanced copy of “BRONX” and this is my voluntary and HONEST review. “BRONX” is a 5+STAR MC romance, with all of the grit, honor, and violence one would expect to see in that world. It is also a slow burn romance that romance readers will love! I STRONGLY suggest you purchase your copy of “BRONX” today! Happy pages! 😉
Quick Info Standalone/Cliffhanger?: Standalone Part of a Series?: Yes ---------------------------------- Meeting the Characters Bronx Freya ---------------------------------- What happens? Bronx stumbles across Freya during someone trying to assault her behind a bar he was in. He saves her from the assault and is shown a picture of a woman he doesn't know but eventually learns is connected to his motorbike crew president Stone. Determined to protect Freya from being tangled up in this mess he tries to convince Stone to take her in and help her. Freya discovers she is not the only child she once thought she was. She has a half sister she never knew about and who doesn't know she exists either. Freya tries to track her sister down to where she knows she is living getting herself in trouble and is saved by the biker that claims he can't help her but she can't stay away from. Final thoughts LOVED this. I loved that Bronx did protect her. He didn't really listen to his pres in the end. After its shown shes in danger and she tells them who her dad is he knows they've got to protect her. Really liked this, this is the answers I wanted from the first book. Would I read again?: Yes Would I read this author again?: Yes Would I continue on with the series?: Yes
Bronx & Freya: sexual assault, assault, familial secrets. Okay, let me say that I'm am not feeling the shortness of the books in this series or the fact that they just end with no resolution. They just don't feel complete. Freya is an MC princess for a club in Yuma. She finds out that her mom had a daughter before she married her dad but had to leave her behind. Freya has been kept away from the MC so while she knows about the life, she's also a little naive. She's determined though to find her sister. What a plot twist... I am here for it. Bronx is still dealing with the aftermath of getting close to Boulder, the detective who made it inside their ranks. He feels like the club doesn't trust him. Still, he's the numbers guy, did they need him. While on the way home he notices a woman being assaulted in an alley, he comes to her rescue then finds out that her name is Freya and she's looking for her sister. They get extremely close while "looking" for her sister. In the meantime Bronx let's the club know what's going on. This all brings the Chinese back on their door step ready to take them out. Bronx promises to protect Freya and then the plot twist makes it's appearance. Such a good story, just wish there were more to it.
Crew treasurer, Bronx doesn’t want to go back to his empty house and continue the renovations. He doesn’t begrudge his brothers finding happiness, he just wants that for himself. Freya had no idea one small picture would put her life on a totally different course than she’s used to. Searching for answers she can’t get at home, Freya arrives in San Diego.
On the dark stretch of road near his home, Bronx notices a small woman struggling and stops to help. Freya had clumsily fallen in the hands of a predator. One glance at Freya lets Bronx know all the things she could be to him but he also knows this isn’t the time. There is too much happening with the club lately, especially with Detective Wolff bending rules. Rating: 3.75stars
I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this book. It moved really fast in my opinion and I felt like I missed a lot but when I went back also didn't find the info that I felt like I missed.
Freya's parents made a big deal about her going to California but nothing really came from her being there so I was ridiculously confused about that being a *thing.* The danger literally came from being around the Lost Boys so I think that was a lot of ado about nothing and not telling her about the issues even when trying to keep her from going was also annoying.
Them falling in love in a matter of days also had me screaming "trauma bonding!" but I'm not sure if that's what the author was going for so oops LMAO.
I chose this rating because I really enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed most of the characters. This was a book of compassion, desire, knowing who you are, and trying to find your sister and yourself and all the chaos. Bronx and Freya they were a very unusual match. Freya found herself in a bad situation in the beginning. Guess who came to her rescue Bronx who overheard what was going on and he can't help her out. So that's how they started out but things ended up getting a little bit more scary. But through it all Freya found what she was looking for, and another part of her family came back together. Also she and Bronx fell in love.
This book detonates right from the start. When Freya comes across something that was never meant for her to see, she is on the road to California to meet a sister she never knew she had. Bronx is in the right place at the right time to prevent a rape. Freya is grateful and when he hears her story, he knows this will be more drama for the MC. This action pack story is filled with so much drama you won't put it down. Will the union of Bronx and Freya bring an allegiance between two MC's? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
From the minute I picked up this book I couldn't put it down. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved how Bronx stood up for himself against his brothers and told them how he felt they were treating him and standing up for his women. I shed some tears as reunions happened and realizations were made. I see big things are coming and I can't wait to see what happens next.
I thoroughly enjoyed this MC romance. Filled with tension, drama, action, excitement, danger, deep emotions, suspense and hot passion, Bronx and Freya's story very quickly pulls you in and keeps you on the edge with its secrets, twists and intrigue. I thought this was agreat read and addition to this series. This is my independent, impartial review.
Bronx what can say about this guy he's their guy who chrunches the numbers who launders the money and he is one sexy dude who comes to the aid a very pretty female who is looking to find her long lost half sister she never new she had. Turns out that female is none other than Stones new lady. Recommend with a 5 Stars rating
I love the Lost Boys MC series. Bronx and Freya's story, I thought, was a tad cheesy in the falling in love department. I was a little confused at first about Bronx's hair color, in Chapter 8 it was auburn and in the rest of the book it was jet black. Other than those two things, I loved the story. You just can't help but root for the crew.
I also liked this book. Bronx is a good manI with some baggage freya is stronger than she knows together they make a great couple, and her and basketball make awesome sisters
Bronx might just b a #s man but he's really so much more and he proved a little what he's capable of when trouble keeps on coming 2 innocent people just cause he knows them. But will be b able 2 get the help they need? At least part of their help can help reunite others.
A wild, intense and suspenseful ride to go on with Bronx, Freya and the Lost Boys MC. This is an adrenaline fueled and thrilling roller coaster ride. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. Wow, what a ride to go on!
Loved this book it kept me hooked from beginning to end!! This series has shorter reads but one book goes into the next!! Loving that as this series has hooked me!!! Characters are great and so is the storyline.
Omg another fabulous read I just loved Bronx and I couldn’t put it down it’s was awesome freya was awesome she was strong she was courageous and I loved it
I really enjoyed how Savannah has tied these books together and really made these hot bikers into a family. The book is Not and I wish I had one this hot and caring.
Freya and Bronx meet in Bronx's story. Bronx is the 3rd book in The Lost Boys MC and this story pulled at the heart strings and had me in tears towards the end. Great story is a fantastic series.
Bronx is known as the numbers man in the crew but his skills run much deeper. He has made each member a return on their money, he has totally renovated his house. He runs into a girl getting abused by some low life on his way home one night. He has to help her. Afterward, she shows him a picture of a girl and the reason she is in San Diego. Bronx tells her he will get back in touch with her, he's going to ask around for her. But Bronx has a tell & the girl knows he knows something. Very fast paced read. Enjoyable. I felt for Bronx because everyone just thought he was a numbers guy and he aS capable of so much more. Adult content, graphic sex.
