With her mate arrested, Ianthe faces an uncertain fate. Even though she never wanted to be bonded, it isn't just herself that she has to think about now. She is carrying Legion's child and will take all of her strength to save them all.
Omega's Binding is the final chapter of Ianthe and Legion's story. This series features an over the top Alpha hero in a dystopian world. This book is for anyone who likes their romance with power exchange and a splash of darkness, especially fans of Addison Cain, Zoe Blake and Loki Renard.
Lillian Sable writes erotic romances and is the author of The Dollhouse series. She is a former office-worker who spent more time fantasizing and daydreaming than doing her actual job. She started writing her fantasies down and turned her dreams into reality.
To reiterate what I said for both books one and two:
As my friend Meredith said in her review for this...this book is perfect when you feel like a decent Omegaverse...but have read all the good ones.
Meaning, it’s not stellar, but it scratches the itch.
Although, I felt that this book was weakest of the three.
Honestly, if you don’t have Kindle Unlimited, I wouldn’t even recommend these books. But, 1) if you do, 2) you have a hankering for Omegaverse, 3) you’ve read all the really good ones already (that you know about, anyway), and 4) you have nothing better to do...not a bad way to pass an afternoon.
We come to the conclusion of Ianthe and Legion's story, they've both been rescued but Legion was driven mad by the torture, Ianthe however is able to complete the bond with her mate by claiming him and this helps him to recover his senses. They're still not safe as the Undersecretary is still scheming and plotting treason so Legion and Adrian go after the only person who can help them leaving Ianthe and her siblings behind. The plan worked and they're saved from exection and Legion and his mate are free to live out their HEA
******* Book 1 was good, book 2 was mediocre and book 3 was a fail
Ianthe was likeable in book 1,a whining brat in book 2 and reckless and stubborn in book 3. She fought the development of any feelings for Legion till 92% of this book! Then suddenly she's got a bunch of loveeeee for her mate..... Bitch where????
Legion was harsh, demanding and controlling from book 1 till about 98% in here.....at least he was consistent😂. We learn he impregnated Ianthe to save her from the Undersecretary and also didn't share all his other plans because ya know he KNOWS best and he didn't want her putting herself in danger(well technically I can't give him wrong because she absolutely DID act hastily and put herself in danger so 🙍). I didn't quite get why Legion loved Ianthe, it actually felt like he wanted the family he'd lost out on so I THINK any Omega would do. There wasn't enough time with them as a couple to show the tumble into love I hoped for. She resisted him the ENTIRE time!
The plot was wrapped up so quickly it felt rushed, I felt like the author was ushering me towards the end.....ok bye now time's up BAM! HEA 😳
This didn't quite turn out as I'd hoped but I already own the next one about another couple, as I'm curious about Castor I'll read it soonish.
1.5* for no cheating or sharing and great steam 0.5* for the epilogue, it should've been longer
I loved Legion & Ianthe's story. Legion makes his play when he is falsely accused and set up for crimes against the crown and people. Ianthe learns to accept her inner self and the bond between each other. I know that Legion shows a lot of possessiveness and ownership but she felt that love through the bond.
Legion & Ianthe are mated and expecting their first child. That should mean that the problems of the outside world shouldn't touch them but a coup for the throne of Pandora brings Leion front and center as he's accused of being the mastermind behind the coup.
Omegas are generally known as being passive nurterers with an inner peace that grounds their Alpha. That is unless her Alpha is in danger. That's when an Omega becomes everyone's worst nightmare.

Warning:This is a dark fantasy Omegaverse Dytopian tale that include abuse, dub/non-con scenes, violence, and graphic sex. This sort of story is intended for fans who appreciate this form of literature. Consider yourself warned.
Warning: This is a third in serial dark fantasy erotic romance series that does bring to a close Legion & Ianthe's story though the series is still incomplete with many unanswered questions left hanging. Cost breakdown on Amazon: Omega's Deception: 131 pages/$2.99 Omega's Capture: 145 pages/$3.99 Omega's Binding: 137 pages/$3.99 no further installments in series available or published but probable ........
Third installment that picks up immediently after Omega's Capture .
In totality, this book did wrap up Legion & Ianthe's story so there's closure for the reader but introduces and leaves hanging multiple unresolved open ended issues. That means there WILL be more to the series but for anyone who has been interested in this series, this would be the point to grab the first three installments as there is now a plateau which will lead into a different character (probably Adrian and/or Circe though Damien would be a good possible too) for the future.
I'm on record as saying I enjoyed the series so far despite being a serial. The thing is this particular book was hyper-speed paced to address immediate outstanding issues and complete Legion's & Ianthe's story on the whole. Way too much superficial content where previous books were overly descriptive snail paced. Further, contradictory details had me smacking my forehead in frustration. Details matter.
Personally, as I now have my HFN ending, I'll drop out off this series as I am not and never will be a fan of serial series in general.
For the story and world building I would have given this 4-5 stars BUT
Main characters relationship was a clusterfuck. It felt completely one sided- fron Legions part. He was totally invested in her but she was absolutely against. Therefore I was lenient in the first book, because it was understandable but then it went on and on.. And finally h started to grate on my nerves. So their relationship didn't make absolutely any sense.
Also, Legion had a mate!!!! Who he claimed and who was pregnant.
And then it was said that second bonds are never as strong as first ones.
Soooooo....
And on top of that it all left me with more questions and unresolved problems. I have nothing against insta love but I have shit loads against insta love when h has been 2,5 books against this relationship, claiming he took her by force and raped her and bla bla bla.. Just nope nope nope. And wham bam she's all cuddly and loving him. She had way too much resentment, anger and hate in her to just let it all dissolve.
This is the conclusion of Ianthe and Legions story. I felt like the story was rushed. Ianthe and Legion barely interacted in this book and then they’re happily mated? She went from constantly feeling shame about her feelings toward him to having his baby...I think there needed to be a better explanation for how she overcame this. She loves him but what did he do to deserve that?
This is a three-part dystopian Omegaverse featuring Ianthe and Legion. She is the sole support of her poverty-stricken family; thus, she takes suppressants to hide her dynamic. He is a powerful cartel boss determined to unmask her. Throw in some political machinations and Metropolis-inspired class hierarchy and you have the beginnings of an interesting narrative. Trigger Warnings for Dub-Con, , and cliffhangers.
Short Version: I liked the first book, but the second and third are riddled with editing errors, inconsistencies, and plot holes. Between that and the too-high price for relatively short books (they're no longer on KU), I do not recommend this series and would only read more of this author if she hired an editor.
I really love this series, but I was very disappointed with the last book. I’m not too picky about typos but the book was riddled with them. Most importantly though, I felt like the story was rushed. Ianthe and Legion barely interacted in this book and then they’re happily mated? She went from constantly feeling shame about her feelings toward him to having his baby...I think there needed to be a better explaination for how she overcame this. She loves him but what did he do to deserve that? I wish there would’ve been more interaction between them where he courted her a bit more.
The original covers for this series are nice. I wonder why the change. More drama in this one. But It was exciting. Till the very end the heroine fights the bond.
This book could have been so much better if the author understood that for a woman to be satisfied in a relationship she must feel cherished. Even though Legion may have loved his omega that did not came across to me. Possesiveness and ownership were the dominant feelings coming across; he wanted her and was willing to protect what was his but did he love her? That question was not resoundingly answered. She was not sooth by his machismo and even to the end she was still annoyed with him and so was I.
Another pet peeve is that there was no acknowledgements of her efforts (which were considerable) by anyone especially Legion. When he tried to save her he is being protective yet chides her for being reckless when she tries to do the same.
It just not appears to me that he respects her beyond the sex that comes with being an omega. In these dark romances I am looking for that unadulterated love that he has for her. That is the only thing that will justify all the bad stuff he puts her through usually at the beginning of the story.
In closing, the feeling running through the whole book for me is that it seems that the author is not attuned to female emotions. So even though the book has a HEA ending I was left feeling dissatisfied.
It started out great, with unexpected plot twist and developments, but deteriorated along the way.
What bothered me the most about the Ianthe, the main character, was her lack of character development plus her lack of character depth. There is nothing that makes her stand out from an emerging new genre. She started out as an omega, trying to survive but somehow ended up as a whiny omega with super lack of survival instincts.
.
Another reason why it probably failed to connect was its failed attempt in being a dark novel. It did not work, because Ianthe's moral conflict was never convincing because it was never dark and gritty enough compared to Cain's Bound series and she did not seem smart nor sympathic enough, unlike Claire.
Of course, all of these points can be attributed to the terrible lack of character development might be the short length of the three novels, making it feel like nothing but cramped .
The reaction above just about sums up my feelings for this series. The first novella was good. The second novella was also good and had me thinking things were going in the right direction despite some of my reservations. But this last novella really disappointed me.
This series is everything wrong with novella's or serialized novella's. They tend to be short and sweet, just giving you enough to tempt you, but sometimes don't follow through very well. This one definitely didn't follow through well.
The first installment was really fast paced. We get a strong world setting in this alpha omega verse and we get a strong sense for who our main character, Ianthe, is as a person. Things progress quickly, and Legion remains obtuse throughout the first book. It's really hard to pin his character down. And just like Ianthe, who just wants her independence, you either hate him by the end of the first book, or really don't know if you like him.
The second book picks up where we left off. But here we have a little more room to get to know Legion. The author shows a sweeter side of him. But we still don't know him know him. We don't get a lot of insight to his character besides some past facts and that he wants Ianthe and he'll do anything to protect her. I was fine ending the second novel without Legion and Ianthe's relationship properly developing. Cause hey, we have the next book right?
Instead this last book was a little lack luster. The author really rushes things near the end. And it just made the little character development that took place previously all for naught. On top of that, Legion and Ianthe both do things that seemed completely out of character to me. Legion just rushes off without explaining himself, when things could have literally been solved with a simple explanation. Ianthe rushes to help Legion even though she's unsure how she really feels about him.
And the author tries to tie things up last minute by simply stating that months have gone by and Ianthe and Legion now love each other and have suddenly gotten past there differences. Which is a little weak if you ask me.
Instead of taking the last 3 books to show us these two growing closer and develop as a couple, you just lazily tell us they live happily ever after despite all the fucked up and difficult shit that was the beginning of their relationship.
The pacing and execution of this last book was just poorly done. The only reason it's getting 3 stars out of me is because I genuinely enjoyed the world and what this last book could have been if done correctly. The first two books were good for me. But this one was not. 3 stars.
This author takes the romance out of dark romance. Every series is about a brooding anti-hero who uses coercion and manipulation to tie an unsuspecting omega to him before systematically stripping her of all agency. The woman’s point of view always morphs from horror and plans to escape to “maybe it’s not that bad” “maybe I’ve been trapped all along by my own illusions of freedom”. She is always impoverished and working to support several people in a society that views her as a possession. He is always in a position to help, but withholds assistance and at times even makes the situation worse to force her to comply.
Every single time, the woman’s is proven to be naive about the evils of world and the man is excused of his crimes when he ultimately pulls some self-sacrificing buffoonery to pivot out of a problem he caused to begin with in the third act. This forces the woman to realize she has in fact been fully indoctrinated and actually cares what happens to her mate. Her siblings or whoever she was supporting are brought into the fray and ever so grateful to the man who clearly kidnapped their loved one, so the woman comes of as cruel for not accepting her fate and has to accept the life of a glorified possession. No nuance, ever.
Conveniently, none of these men are in situations where they have to watch their own sisters and daughters be treated like this. All of the older generation is full of anime villains who agree with the status quo and the matronly figures who’ve lived long enough to become accessories to their oppressors. It would be interesting to see the next generation, where all of the original couples the author has tried to paint as “different” have to deal with the horrors they convinced themselves to accept and perpetuate.
Will the alpha who we are told to believe loves his forced mate stand by stoically while his future baby girl gets carted off by someone just like him? Will the omega who remembers the feelings of despair and hopelessness stand by while her son grows to view women as malleable commodities?
I don’t know, these kinds of books just leave a bad taste in my mouth when every single story ends with the woman being impregnated and having to learn to love her captor and the captor being smug and never having a shred of regret. Just off-putting.
Last book. Finally. At first, I find this book series expensive in reference to the shortness. This book could have been a standalone. And with all the misspelling and grammar mistakes, I found during my read, there isn't anything justifiable in the price.
The story itself again: There isn't a true relationship developing between the two. I liked Ianthe most in book one. In book two, she was really annoying. And in book three, she still had that attitude and is in denial, reckless and stubborn. She didn't see reason. She didn't want to. Furthermore, she is volatile in her behavior, but still didn't develop and fight, because she thinks she has to.
Legion didn't change his tactic either. But that's nothing I would assume from him. He got what he wanted. The good thing he has, that he is protective of her and would stop at nothing to avoid harm for her. He always has plans, but we don't know them until he disclosed them.
It's implied, that he loves her. But I don't really understand why? It seems more that he only wants/needs her, to molds her into his liking. And it is said, that a second bond isn't as strong as the first. Like he only wants a second chance after his first mate died?
The story was short, as I said. So, the most part was rushed. And still, as we near the end, Ianthe didn't deviate from her behavior. Only in the last chapters comes the abrupt change - suddenly, she is in love with him? Nothing bothers her anymore.
No, that isn't anything logical. But other than that, it was an ok read. I still give it 3 stars.
All of my thoughts, questions and inklings of what was going on have been wrapped up nicely for the mostpart, but now I have new questions and side characters I want to know more about, such as Adrain and Prince Castor.
This is the final book in Ianthe's and Legions story but I'm hoping to see more of them in the next trilogy set in this world. I really enjoyed this whole trilogy as each book kept me engaged and ready for the next to see what was happening.
Some spoilers ahead
In this book, we are picking up right where book 2 left off. Legion and Ianthe have both been arrested and now have to figure out how to save themselves. Ianthe's needs to keep secrets and run head first into things continuously can only makes things harder for Legion as he try to keep plans to himself regarding their safety and how to handle the conspiracy and plots surrounding them.
It was really nice to see them rebond and a full bond at that not just one way bond plus watching them both come to terms with their feelings and acknowledge what they felt was not just biology on Ianthes part. I do wish we had gotten more insight/answers or a better reason why Legion wanted her and not just any other omegas as it did end up giving off vibes of just wanting what he lost with Nila as we didn't see alot of romance on his part until maybe 50% through book 3 (not a bad thing in a dark romance omegaverse verse setting like this)
TW: abduction, torture, attempted SA, pregnancy, mentions of past murder, explicit sexual detail, I apologize if I missed some 3.75/5 🌶 4/5🌟
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Set in a dystopian world of corrupted power hungry Alpha’s, the compound has been compromised with Legion and Ianthe being forced apart in a political move orchestrated by someone with enough power and influence to hide this bold move from the Crown and public. Ianthe is uncertain and terrified of the fate that awaits her yet holding onto to hope for her mate to find a way to save them all. Legion has been captured with his mind broken with his only hope of returning to sanity laying in the hands of his reluctant mate. Ianthe is very stubborn in this final installment, her tenacity to do whatever in the guise of freedom despite the consequences that could cost others is frustrating. Ianthe is very inpatient and expects the worst in every situation and constantly fights her growing attraction and comfort with her mate. Ianthe is very loyal despite her reservations. Legion is a strong male characters, the torturous things he’s suffered at the hands of corrupted governmental officials and never giving them what they desire admirable along with his unwavering patience for his mate. The supporting characters were all good, having their specific moments that helped aid the main characters with the reveal of corruption being satisfying.
For the story and world building I would have given this 4-5 stars BUT

Good read though uneventfully developed and was full of grammatical errors which were distracting. Aside from some sex the book was under developed on their feelings, and the evolution of those feelings to love. More could have been told about the other characters as a foreshadowing to upcoming stories. Without such glimpses, the reader is left wondering: what becomes of Circe and Eaon, what the point was of the Princes discovery, what of the Alpha second in command.
The omega who should have matured more remained childish, reckless, and foolishly stubborn until the end. She did stand by her alpha though for reasons she would not acknowledge.
Overall, the storyline while interesting felt thin, lacking fullness, and was just: arrest to redemption with a few love scenes. By the end of this tale, I didn’t care about their relationship even though I continued to feel more favorably about the hero. Not much really happened. More story and character development were needed.
This is a generally well-written series, but for me the pace wasn't quite right. To begin with it started off slow with the heroine having a hard time struggling to cope with what had happened to her and adjusting to her new life. Then the story changed very quickly with her changing her mind and everything going into upheaval. I also found that the reading wasn't smooth. There were multiple times throughout the books where words were repeated, or the incorrect words used, and even overly difficult words used instead of ones that would have made more sense and been in keeping with how the books were written. Sometimes it felt like the author had lost track of what was happening, especially in the intimate scenes, as Legion did a few things in succession that he wouldn't have been capable of doing as his hands were apparently meant to be elsewhere. All in all a good Omega series, but one I probably wouldn't read again.
Agree with everything said here re editing. Seemed to go downhill by the third book. Conclusion felt rushed and was unsure of the FMC's headspace, it appears she really was manipulated by the mate bond. Riddle me this....why do authors spend so much time on the development of side characters and then leave their story unfinished? I loved the Adrian character and felt he warrants his own story. One of the classic authors at this is Addison Cain, and she can't even finish a series - don't get me started. Even with editing errors and plot holes I had a hard time putting these books down, loss of sleep is a good indicator that I am wrapped up in the story - this is one of those series. Would recommend. Note: Its my belief that 5 stars are handed out much too frequently. Pls put more thought into what you would consider a solid 5 star rating. It will make the rating system much more realistic.
Three books and the heroine is still stuck on her self-righteous claim of not having the freedom to choose. When she has no complete knowledge of what an Omega is because her mother died before fully explaining everything. She just held on to beliefs based on hearsay which may or may not be entirely true and complete information. It would have been a nice turning point for her to embrace who she is and who Legion is to her and what they are to each other. Which is what the blurb alluded to but somehow it was muted in the book.
This last book focused more on the political plot rather than the love story. I thought it was about the omega claiming her true self and place and her bond with her alpha. But more than half of the book she is still holding on to her misplaced beliefs and righteous indignation over being forced. More focus on the actual bond between Ianthe and Legion would have been awesome. And seeing the actual bond in all its glory would have been great.
The story itself was a good ending to the overall series I know there's other books coming with different characters but this will be the last one for Legion I think. The only thing that distracted me from the story as it did in the last book were the missing words not so much spelling errors but sentences were the words were missing so they didn't make any sense. I think this book could have done better with one last round of a proofreader maybe somebody not on a tablet a lot of times it's easier to catch these things on and when you have the book in hand instead of on the tablet that's what I know when I'm doing my proofreading it at least. Other than that good job can't wait for the next one!
Final book for Legion and Ianthe (still never figured out how to pronounce her name). The ending was sweet for the couple but I wished there was more about her family besides how they were living better.
This book series highlighted for me how corruption and money ruins people, along with power that strangles everyone once they reach the top. Along with how the justice system is not fair for all.
One thing I found is how the female main character fell quickly, in the second book she still despised him, and then almost day later she was in love with him.
Besides that it was a good series and I want to read the rest. AND I wish for more about Ianthe’s brother and sister maybe finding their own love story?
The loved the first book, but after the 2nd I have so many doubts about the book and the heroine is annoying me till nowhere. Still, I finished the 3rd book because I like Lucian. However, the story did not intrigue me like the first book. I don't understand how the heroine fell in love with the hero, the relationship development between them is lacking. The hero seems to lack followers or supporters since he is so powerful and wealthy, I only see one Andrian till the end. Regarding the bond between them, it just seems useless and unconvincing. Just 2 Ok to read stars for this book. It is one of the disappointing reads this month.
While this book went in the direction I thought it would, it was far from boring. I was surprised to see Legion begin to mellow under the influence of the bond. He began to fall into the role of a true Alpha:a protector. The ending was beautiful and I was glad that it ended happily with a new addition. It was a sweet touch to see it through Legion's POV and see his frustration and anxiety. I will be continuing on with the next books with the new couple.
I purchased first book for .99 cents which seemed reasonable and I like the story but as soon as I was invested the book ended and I had to buy the second one for 3.99. Really annoying also this book could’ve been written by Addison Cain the story line is so similar to other books she has written. This last book was really just dull and drawn out not too mention another 3.99. If it had been released in 1 book for 3.99 I would’ve enjoyed a lot more but seems like a money grab for a knock off Addison Cain story.
We’ve come to an end of this couple, and it was a cute ride.
“Legion was her beginning and her end. He always had been, even before she knew he existed.”
But i have so many questions: 1. How did Adrian rescue Legion? We know that he had to subdue Legion, but i would’ve loved to see Legion’s POV on that specific chapter/moment. 2. How did Ianthe know where Legion would be executed, and how did she get there without being recognized? 3. What about Circle, did she accept the fact that she’s a beta? Because the last time it was discussed, she wanted to be an Omega. And what about the surgery of reconstruction that Legion and Ianthe were talking about, did they gift her?
My other problem was with Ianthe and her reluctance for her feelings, when he was taken and was feral she seems to come to the realization of her feelings towards Legion and i could understand that switch in her behavior but even AFTER she bit him, she still is battling against her feelings. It gets tiring.
I actually shipped Circle and Adrian, he just seems like someone who didn’t really care about sub-gender.
That end (her childbirth) was the best part of the book, istg that I was giggling like a little girl.
