description I have to be honest. Unconditional you is the fifth book of the Stupid Awesome love series by Author Ceri Grenelle but it can be read stand-alone. This story has quite the family drama in both Celeste and Kai lives where both have to deal with the different twists and turns in their lives.

Celeste is in need of a money and then she found about Nilsson, a billionaire, solution of her all problems, but if she knows that he is the same person with which she had fallen in love once she wouldn’t have thought to approach him whereas Kai a hater of judgemental society, which is a waiter in the eyes of the Celeste. He never revealed his real identity to anyone except his close friends that he is the one and only billionaire Kai Nilsson.

Kai is a person of excessive pride. He also is in a need of wife so that he can inherit his parent's wealth but he isn’t ready to have one until he met Celeste. They both had Past. They both have problems. They even have the same group of friends. But what will happen when Celeste came to know that Kai ( who was her friend at one stage of her life) is the same person that has the solutions for all the problems.

This was the first book I read by the Author Ceri Grenelle and it was an amazing experience. The wittiness of the characters in this book has been shown. The overall writing of the whole plot is good but I have to say this that this book is only one-time read and there are a little bit of stretched scenes which you may think that this has already happened in this book. At one page, I am smiling like an idiot and at another, I am feeling sad. This book gives you a roller coaster ride of emotions.

ARC was generously provided for an honest opinion.

Ceri Grenelle is an interesting new to me author. When I came across the plot of “Unconditional You” the 5th book in the Stupid Awesome series I applied for an ARC and while doing that I was asked if I wanted to read any of the previous books in that series so I checked the plots.

And I learned that Ceri Grenelle is one of these authors where at least I have to really go with my feeling for the blurb – if I am not sure about that one – go with the Beatles and LET IT BE … BUT what does that say about the author? Well I guess I have to read the third book to confirm my thoughts but I really think that this author might have the crazy awesome ability to listen to the characters when writing their story. Which basically means that her writing style changes depending what the leads tell her while their story develops. I know how weird that sounds but believe me I have thought about it for several days and this is the only way to explain it … because at my hands I have two books that are that have connecting yet standalone stories with characters. They appear on and off in the books so their stories are close.

And Still I had a (very sorry) 2 Star book and a (must read) 5 star book directly following each other here in my hands – that is what I call a reading experience … crazy right ? So I was looking forward at that point to read the book that I originally applied for because its blurb was not only talking to me … no it was almost shouting at me.
And again I was right to trust my gut – this book was everything I hoped – expected and wished for. I was confirmed in my thoughts that the author really has a writing style that changes with the needs of the character …. From the first glimpse I got at Kai in the previous books I knew I had to read his story. The character never left me even weeks later I was constantly checking when the book might fnally be available to read.

If you asked me to make a reading suggestion to you? I would tell you to read Bursting Out first because it will make you want to read this book so much …

When we get introduced the characters in “Bursting Out” I wasn’t sure what to think of Celeste but I was pretty sure I would love Kai’s character. So when we finally get to really meet them in “Unconditional You” there were revelations that explained a lot about how they came to be and I loved how their characters were growing in depth.

I was surprised by some of the things that were revealed and I loved the plot from beginning to end especially because the plot was not a simple and easy one. The author really took time writing some twists and turns to make it memorable but again I think if you read book 4 before this it will leave an even deeper impression as the differences between the characters are more obvious.

And really anything more about the plot I could tell you here that is not already mentioned in the blurb would be a spoiler that I would like to avoid at all cost.

My recommendation? Even though you can read it as standalone – I suggest reading book 4 (also because it’s pretty awesome on its own) and then enjoy this one here – and I am pretty sure you will when you like the plot as mentioned in the blurb.

I received a review copy of Unconditional You before release for an honest review.

This is book 6 in the series but the first one I have read. It easily stands alone and it is about two kids who meet when they are very young.
Kai is a waiter at a rich party. He is 18 and he meets 16 year old rich girl/socialite Celeste and they form a friendship. The story profiles how they get to know each other and fall in love and kiss on her 18th birthday. He is going away on a family trip and then they plan to run off together. But it never happens. Celeste ends up all alone and the story picks up 16 years later.

Kai is now back but he is not the same guy Celeste knew 16 years before. He is bitter and angry and secretive. Celeste is not the same either. She is still kinda but she is very jaded and she has a dream and for her dream to happen she needs to find a rich husband. And she thinks she has found him in Kai's boss.

This story is very Cyrano where Kai is the voice for his employer as Celeste forms an email relationship with Kai's boss to marry him. Meanwhile Kai and Celeste have a very complicated relationship. Meanwhile Kai has some pretty huge secrets.

This was a very well written story and the author really delves deeply into who Kai and who Celeste is and their personal pain. To some degree Kai is a train wreck where you know something big is coming but you cannot look away. That's part of the fun of this story. I did really enjoy it a lot.

But here is a warning on the book. Celeste is bisexual. I tend to stay away from bisexual romances. Though she states she is bi, this book is only about her and Kai. Personally I felt that the bi sexual storyline was not needed. If Frannie had been a Frankie, I don't think it would have changed the story at all. So I did not see the point of adding the bisexual aspect of this story.

Ceri Grenelle is a new author to me, but I'm so glad that I went ahead and read this one because it exceeds my expectations. There is plenty of drama going on within their families and with plenty of twists it makes for a good interesting read!

Celeste has been through a lot of losses in her life. But this just makes her strong. She made a promise to her first love and now she's going to make it happen. Even though she needs to use an unconventional way to make it happen, it's her passion. Celeste finds out that marrying the Nilsson heir is the key in getting what she needs. But it is not an easy path to approach the heir. First she needs to confront the guy who had promised to run away with her but left her at the train station years ago.

Kai is a person of excessive pride. Kai is a hater of judgemental society that's why he never revealed his real identity to anyone except his close friends. But, he is in a need of wife in order for him to inherit his parent's wealth but he isn’t ready to have one until he saw the one woman he hurt years ago again.

Both of them had past together. Both have problems. They tried to keep each other at arms length despite having the same goals. But what happen when Celeste came to know that Kai is the same person that has the solutions for all the problems?

To some this might seem like a super easy fix if people would just freaking communicate with each other, but we as readers and humans, we know that is not always the case. This book gives you a roller coaster ride of emotions. The characters are real, raw, and terrific and I really enjoyed reading this. I adored this book and highly recommend it!

This book is complicated, sweet, and so freaking full of misconceptions!

To put it in a nutshell-- Celeste and Kai met when they were younger at the stiff boring parties and gravitated to each other. He acted as waiter and was her saving grace in trying to act the part that her mother laid out for her. At one of the lowest points in her life, Kai asked her to run away with him and she agreed and he left her waiting and waiting and waiting. He doesn't resurface until YEARS later and acts as nothing happens. Celeste finds out that he is the key in getting what she needs- marring the Nilsson heir for money for a really freaking good cause.

To some this might seem like a super easy fix if people would just freaking communicate with each other, but we as readers and humans, we know that is not always the case. The characters are real, raw, and traffic and I really enjoyed reading this. I do felt it could have been a bit more condensed, but other than that, I adored this book and highly recommend it!

Thank you to Ceri Grenelle and Give Me Books PR for allowing me an advanced copy that I am voluntarily and honestly reviewing!

I received an arc in exchange for an honest review. Kai and Celeste met at a charity function when Celeste was only 16 years old. After continuously meeting up at parties throughout the years Kai asks Celeste to run away with him. The only problem is Kai never showed up. This is a standalone book in the series Stupid Awesome Love. All of the characters interconnect, but they can be read as standalone books. Celeste needs money for something so she goes to Kai and asks if he can connect her with the reclusive Bobby Nilsson so she can pose as his wife. It's supposed to be a marriage of conviences, yet Celeste doesn't know that Bobby Nilsson and Kai are the same person. Kai doesn't know if he wants to marry Celeste because she isn't who he remembered so he decides to spend time with her as Kai as a sort of test to see if he can trust her. Both Celeste and Kai are broken people trying to heal. I wish the author would have spent more time building the relationship with Kai and Celeste or made it into two books because this book felt a little rushed. This is a new author to me though and I liked how she made these two characters have flaws. If you like semi-arranged marriages, second chances, billionaire, flawed characters this book is for you.

Unconditional You is the 5th book in a series by Ceri Grenelle, a new to me author. While it can be read as a stand alone (I did) there is apparently quite the backstory which would probably have enhanced my enjoyment and connection to the characters.

If I'm being completely honest, I wasn't in love with any aspect of the story. I facilitated between liking and hating the characters and frankly, a lot of the book felt preachy and a little self indulgent; I attributed that to Celeste, who I truly did not enjoy but can't let Kai off the hook in the selfishness department. To me, neither of them were truly likeable, although when push comes to shove Kai's humor wins the day. The angst took FOREVER to work through and then the ending was abruptly upon us. No time to truly enjoy the relationship after it (FINALLY) blossomed.

While the writing was well done, I'm sad to say this book wasn't for me.

"Love is scary, but its also worth the fear." This is my favorite quote from this book and fits it perfectly. Kai and Celeste met at a party and connected instantly. They had plans to run away but then tragedy destroyed them. Kai is trying to move on from this but in order to do so and get his money, he has to get married or otherwise the money goes elsewhere. He's struggling with this and his injury. He keeps his identity a secret and only a few people who are close to him knows who he really is. Celeste is angry. She hasn't forgot about being hurt and left at the station by Kai. She also needs money. She knows who has it and what she needs to do to get it. This is when things get good. She starts to bond and let go from the anger but the problem is that Kai still hasn't told her who is really is. As you guess, its predicable as to how things plan out. It was a good book despite being a bit predicable.

Kai and Celeste’s story is filled with a rollercoaster of emotions. Kai has never revealed to anyone that he is actually a billionaire except a small group of friends. Celeste happens to be friends with the same group of people, but doesn’t know they are friends with Kai.

Kai was set to runaway with Celeste when she was younger, but he never showed up at the train station. Now Celeste is deep in debt and needs money to survive. The Billionaire needs a wife to gain his inheritance. But will Celeste go through with it when she finds out it is Kai?

I really did like this story. It was an interesting concept with a happy ending. The emotions in this story are all over the place, but it creates a really good story.

This is a slow road to happy ever after with a couple broken people doing the usual, avoiding feeling vulnerable and telling each other about how they feel. They however feel strongly about each other, and I love that we get both sides of the story. The hero takes it to the extreme by not even revealing who he really is. The poetic wording of the book made it a pleasure to read even if I was mad at the guy for a long time. The girl is not bending over backwards to be pleasing everyone and I love it. She’s not playing games for the sake of it. She has a great goal to achieve. I highly recommend it to everyone https://www.youtube.com/feed/subscrip... loves to take their emotions for a roller coaster spin.

Do people even talk to each other? Celeste in dire financial straights decides to marry rich. She decides Bobby Nisson is a good candidate. She must go through his CoS, Kai with whom she has history. Kai & Celeste were going to run away together, but Kai never showed up. He suffered a mishap and was unable to show up. Is that insult irredeemable? Kai/Bobby are one and the same. Bobby needs to marry to inherit. Kai/Bobby's friends keep his secret. They are Celeste's friends too. Must be exhausting! This story is amazing. It keeps you and your kindle glued. Can Kai and Celeste find their common ground? Will they be able to communicate calmly? Good story. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

Celeste is in desperate need of financial relief so she decides to do what her mother suggest and marry a man for his money. Kai and Celeste have known each other for a while and they even agreed to run away together but he never showed up. Now that Kai works for the billionaire Nilsson she needs him to introduce them in hopes she can get him to marry her but what she doesn't know is that Kai and Nilsson are one and the same person. Kai stands to inherit his family's wealth by the end of the year but he has to get married and he thinks just maybe Celeste could fill that role.

Ceri Grenelle quickly became one of my favorite must read authors with her Stupid Awesome Love Series. Book 5 is Kai’s story which I had been waiting impatiently for and she did not disappoint.
It hit me in the feels multiple times as we get all of Kai’s feelings regarding his injury. This doesn’t mean I didn’t wanna smack both him and Celeste over the head multiple times so they’d get their 💩 together. I loved it all. The ending is the best. ❤️

This was a well written book with strong characters and an interesting plot. There were lots of twists and false starts to keep the reader guessing about what was going to happen next. I would not suggest that it was realistic, but hey, it is fiction and everyone needs an escape. The history between Kai and Celeste created a great deal of the flow and backdrop for the rest of the book.

Wow this book was great. I didn't want to put it down. I loved the characters. I do how feel it left me hanging at the end. Even though they did get married for real. I think it should have maybe had them having a family of their own. I love this book and author. I would recommend it to everyone.
