This book is 95% smut; 5% plot. That's not a bad thing necessarily, but I like a little more build up before the insta-love/straight up lustfest ensues.
Eamon and Clay are Irish Mob Bosses visiting Boston on a mission to remove a "bad seed" from their organization. Phoebe is the fiancee (in name only) of one of the top members of the Boston crew who is lost by said fiance in a card game to Eamon and Clay who both want to consume her on sight even though it may be in direct conflict of their goal. Phoebe can't believe the pull she feels towards these 2 older, large, dominating men. Being with them runs counter to her hidden agenda and once her end game is known, it may ultimately ruin the romance.
Ultimately, the book is as the bottom tag line suggests: Ready for completely over-the-top, extremely unrealistic, insta-love fantasy at its finest? We’re talking page two forever-love, so buckle up, hang on tight, and don’t say I didn’t warn you!
What I liked:
--- Definitely plenty of steamy goodness
--- When the plot actually kicked in, it was decent
What I didn't like as much:
--- These are 2 rough and tumble, mega alpha-male mob bosses who "fell in love" in approximately 0.00001 seconds (and claimed to be drawn to more than just her looks --- how is that possible when they didn't even speak to each other?)
--- Not sure exactly what was "mob" about them --- the author made them out to be more like saints or possibly avenging angels
--- The "older, large, dominant men" was over played to the extent that it got repetitive ----we get it: they are older, large, and dominant
Overall, a nice smutty read that starts off with some major action and ends with a smidge of plot. Delivers what is promised for the most part, and a good "quickie" that can be consumed in an hour or two depending on reading speed.

Phoebe has been working within the Irish Boston mob and the end of the undercover operation is in sight that is until the two Kingpins from Dublin make a surprise visit to the Boston division, she finds herself being bartered in a poker game and suddenly she’s the prize that they want. But she knows once they find out who she really is she will be cast aside forever, can she really have fallen in love with both men within 24 hours and how is she going to save her heart when they find out her secret?
This is a fast paced, thrilling read with red hot chemistry from start to finish. Great story in time for St Patricks Day and this author always manages to shock me with how well detailed her stories are within a short read.

I got the smut that I needed but still waiting on the actual story part..
Get Lucky is definitely filled with lots of smutty romance. There's a dash of insta-love in there as well. In it you will meet Eamon, Clay and Phoebe. Honestly, their little romance started off so freaking sad. First off, Eamon and Clay won Phoebe from her said fiancé.
Now at this point, I feel like I have read this kind of story before. So I was already prepared for the predictability from this book. It was short - which was a good thing in my eyes. The smut was definitely there but I really miss the story part in her books. I wish she had some kind of interesting storyline other than just full on smut throughout the entire thing.
Other than all of that, it was enjoyable and definitely filled my smut quota of the day.

Given that it is pretty much EXACTLY what it advertises-over the top, faster than insta-love/lust/sex, I say three stars. I wish there had been some character development or..I don't know, plot, so my enjoyment wasn't really there, but again, it is what it says it is.

This book felt like a long sex scene. I'm not complaining because due to the length of the book, I assumed things would happen very quickly.
I do prefer some character development so I didn't really feel connected with the characters. I did love the epilogue since it gave us a HEA.
I would definitely like to try a longer book of this author's.

This one was steamy great pace and some yumminess in this book.
Who doesn't love some Irish mob men and not one but Two!!! now these guys are super OTT already possessive and protective and some hot irish men..and when they see Phoebe who is sassy, stubborn and has a secret no one knows they wont turn down her dumbass fiance who bets her in their card game things go 0 to 100x real fast with Clay and Eamon and Phoebe on a poker table to secrets being hidden for a moment and when that secert drops Lorddddddsss i thought it be another they knew eachother book.. but nope lol its something different lol also if your looking for something very super instalove this is it why it got a lowish rating cuz i did wish this was longer..
Lowish angst, no ow/om the fiance is shown but she never touched him, no cheating, drama, not a manwhore and no virgin gal

Get Lucky was so so good and kept me glued to the pages, even more so when that sweet HUGE twist shook me up.

Just in time for Saint Patrick's Day- an insta-everything sexy hot romance between 2 Irish kingpins and 1sassy sweet woman.
This is an MFM mafia romance that will have you glued from start to finish. Clay, Eamon and Phoebe have some really steamy chemistry that comes pouring across the pages. Add the action, suspense, drama, angst, twists/turns and love that springs up between the main characters- this is a surefire hit.

This was another great read by Madison Faye. I couldn't put it down. This was a perfect read on a cold rainy afternoon.
Phoebe is at a poker game with her 'fiance' who decides to add her to the pot. She is furious at him. There are two other men who are in the game and she can't stop staring at them. They decide to share her instead of seeing who will win the pot. They are two Irish kings who have an agenda of their own. Phoebe is not all that she seems. When things come to a head will they be able to work things out or will they walk away from each other?
I always love reading her books.

I love holiday themed stories. This one was hot and fun! Irish, mafia, insta love and passion; this book was such fun to read. MFM (all the lovin’ for the lady), this story was fast and enjoyable. I loved that there was some action and mystery added to this plot, it makes the story that much more.
The men are alpha, dominate, protective and sweet. The female lead was sweet, caring, and just too much. I loved them together! A must read for this author's fans and anyone looking for fast hot and sweet!

I love Madison and her books. In saying that this review is hard to write BECAUSE I really liked this book BUT I wanted it to be longer. With the mafia storyline (which I love) I wish Madison had built from that a little more and brought some more to the story. The sex scenes were hot and I liked the characters. So in saying that I would recommend reading this book, but again I wish there was a deeper storyline.

This was a great story and what you would expect from this author. It is hot, explicit and steamy. The chemistry between these three is hot enough to melt your kindles. Eamon and Clay were attracted to Phoebe the second they laid eyes on her. Phoebe knows she shouldn’t be so attracted to these tall, dark, sexy and dangerous men, but she is. She has a big secret that could extinguish everything quickly. You need to read this if you like your reads hot and dirty.

Steamy ménage read! Eamon and Clay are Irish Kingpins and when the win Phoebe in a poker game they plan on sharing her. Secrets are being kept that could them all killed. Fast-paced off the charts hot read with lots of drama and suspense. The chemistry is steamy and the story intense and entertaining. I loved it.

Loved this book! I could not put it down! I was engrossed from the start! Plenty of fun and heat! Not a dull moment! Must have book! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance copy of the book from the author. Can not wait for more from this fantastic author!

Needs work
In so many Madison Faye books, the character says a name of some one and then says "yes, that . It's an obvious tactic to let us know that this not real life person is well known in the book's world. It's annoying, especially since she does this a lot of her books. It's repetitive and uncreative.
There was also the misuse of italics. It's really hard to read a book when there are so many italicized words that shouldn't be. It was really really bad. There were italicized words on every page. That's ridiculous and annoying. Use them right or don't use them. The emphasis on a word produced by italics is distracting when it's repetitive and done incorrectly. It makes the dialogue sound dumb because a lot of those words would not be stressed/emphasized that way. I keep reading Faye's books because some of them have good stories, but the italics need to go.
There were errors that should have been fixed before publication. Not as bad or as many as I've seen in some books, but still this book should have been edited better.
I liked the story, but it feels like too much is missing in between the arrest and the ending. I understand time gaps and not saying everything because it's not really possible, but there should have been more said about her contacting them or being in touch with them or something before they meet back up. I do like the ending and the way their mob is. I don't usually like monster books, but this one was done well and was more like "mob lite".

My Review for This Book
Cause it was a hell of a good story. Lucky reminds me of a Major in my little Strike Group. She was and is a Hell of a Fighter. Enjoyed Killing And Torturing the Bad Guys Almost as Much as I Did. Notice The Key Word "Bad Guys" Neither I Nor Any of My Strike Group Killed or Hurt Any "Innocents", Nor Will We Ever, Period! We We're and Are a Protective Strike Group! We Torture and Kill the Bad Guys, Who Are Enslaving And Terrorizing The People Who They Had Controlled! To Show The People They No Longer Had To Live In Fear, And To Show The Bad Guys What Happens To Those Who Try To Exert Their Control Over Such People Again! That They Will Never Be Free Of Fear Of Our Retribution If They Do! It Is A Wonderful Feeling To Free Those Who Had Lived In Fear, And To Show The Bad Guys What It Is Like To Live In Fear Of What They Can Expect If They Try To Enslave The Peaceful People Who Live There.
