Nikki: Jack has explained his aversion to relationships about a million times to everyone. To me. To the guys in the band. Even to his mom, who gets kind of sad that he denounces monogamy so easily. He claims that no matter how intensely he might feel for a girl, he’ll eventually get bored of her. He’s also explained to me, multiple times, that I’m the only woman he’s ever been able to stand more than a few days with. Because we’re friends. Just friends. I finish my beer quickly and lie back down, wrapping one arm around Jack’s waist and letting my head settle into him. I feel his chest rise and fall with his breath. I revel in the familiar warmth. I fight the terrible urge to climb on top of him and suck the lips off his face. Fuck, I’ve got weeks left stuck on this fucking tour bus with my 'just friend,' the hot, insatiable manwhore Jack Cordero. Kill me now.
Jack: I lie back on the couch and turn off the TV. No use pretending to watch it anymore. I should go to bed, but as usual, my mind won’t quiet down. I feel cold without Nikki on top of me. And I miss the way she smells. Maybe I should break this self-imposed dry spell I’ve been in since Christian demanded that Nikki join us on tour to babysit. It’s not that I can’t hook up with a girl while Nikki’s on tour. I mean, she knows I sleep around. It’s just… Nikki’s my best friend. Nikki is one of the few people in my life that really expects something of me. And she doesn’t see me as some guitar god or her older brother’s friend or anything like that. She’s the only one who really gets me. Who’s figured out how to talk to me. I’d lay down my own life before I’d hurt her. But I’m still going to fuck myself thinking about her ass in those shorts.

Jack met Nikki when she was 16 when he was visiting his friend and bandmate at his home. Once he found out her age and Ian warned Jack off her they became best friends from then on but Nikki always wanted Jack as more.
Jack's upbringing left him thinking that he could never have true love but Nikki wanted to prove Jack wrong. This book will have you turning pages to see if their friendship can be more and if just a couple of days together can get them past the sexual longing they have both felt without ruining their friendship.
This was a good read. Nikki has liked Jack since she was sixteen years old. She is now on the road with the band and is also really good friends with Jack. Of course she has always wanted more and so has he. The problem is that Jack is afraid to love but with the help of Nikki he is able to overcome that.

Amelia Mae, ‘Say yes, Jack’. (Say Yes series, book 3).
As a Hidden Gem ARC reader I received this book for free. And promised an honest review. Here it is.
For me English is a foreign language. Sorry for errors.
Rating: 4 stars (of 5).
In general: From friends to lovers.
Main characters: - Nikki Brooks (22). She works as kind of chaperonne for the manager of the band ‘Say Yes’ in which her brother, Ian, plays. After a publicity scandal she has to keep the four rock stars of the band in line.
- Jack Cordero (28). Friend of Ian Brooks. Jack and Ian play together in the very succesful band. ‘Say Yes’ is on tour and Nikki has to live for several weeks in the touringcar of the band to do her chaperonne job.
Jack met Nikki for the first time when she was 16. Since then Ian was a very protective brother. When Nikki became older, she and Jack liked each other more and more and during the tour they were best friends. But secretly both want more. After the tour Nikki and Jack become roommates. The author, Amelia Mae, describes how Nikki and Jack fall in love in spite of all kind of complications: fear of commitment, a bad relation with an ill parent, afraid to lose best friend and fear for a protective bother. The author brings all these aspects together in a well written, credible (but not very original) plot. All in all the book was a pleasure to read.
I was very impressed with this best friends-to-lovers rock star romance. Jack Codora is so very talented as the lead guitarist in the Say Yes rock band and his best friend Nikki Brooks has been his desire since they met when she was 16 years old. The same is true for her when she laid eyes on this sexy man who gave her the very first crush of her life. Theirs is a true “love at first sight/instalove” kind of thing for sure, although neither of them can afford to let that be known due to Nikki’s brother Ian, being jack’s bandmate. Their forbidden relationship throws them into putting each other in the “friend zone” for many years even though the intense sexual attraction between them is impalpable. I really enjoyed watching their romantic relationship unfold and undo both of them. The power in the love they shared was so intense and emotionally moving for me. Amelia has written another beautiful yet extremely potent love story. Book three in this “Say Yes” series is even more vividly intense than the first two. Moving on to Dylan’s book now and looking forward to it.
Say Yes: Jack by Amelia Mae is a fun bad boy rock star read. Since finishing book three of the Say Yes series, I will definitely be catching up with the other band members by reading books one and two ASAP. Jack is an awesome bad boy rock star with alpha tendencies and an absolutely filthy mouth which made the chemistry between him and Nikki simmer, steam and combust. I really enjoyed this author’s writing. The plot, characters and dialogue were spot on and made for an enjoyable read that was hard to put down. An HEA is also a must for me and she totally delivers. I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
This book was cute, I love that Nikki and jack meet when they were young and they’re best friends until they decide to give in his relationship the next step and when everything happen it feel so normal and so usual like a real relationship, and they actually have the most normal relationship of all the other guys they watch movies and drink beer and eat pizza in the couch, they really complement each other so well , and I love it , really recommended if you’re looking for a romance and this book it’s not a stand-alone book it’s a series and if you start with this book you would get spoil the others books, but that’s not really a big deal because you now that in the end the get together so it’s not big deal 😄
This is the third book in the series Say Yes and I loved it. This one was definitely a five star read. Jack is the lead guitar player of Say Yes and he’s also Shawn’s stepbrother. He’s gorgeous and really sweet, a little kinky. He also has issues because of his estranged father, who abandoned him as a child along with his wife. Nikki is Ian’s little sister who’s been in love with Jack since she was sixteen. This story flows well and I couldn’t put it down. I loved the journey of these two and the closeness they shared before they were even in love. I loved that her brother Ian didn’t give Jack a hard time because he was dating his little sister. I totally recommend this book and can’t wait to read book four about Dylan.
Jack and Nikki are great together. They've been friends for years and have a great dynamic. Nikki has had a crush on Jack since the day she met him and wants to move forward into a relationship with him; however, Jack is reluctant because he doesn't believe in love and doesn't want to jeopardize their friendship with what could only be a fling.
Overall interesting read with good plot and character development. Very little drama but lots of sexual tension. A few steamy scenes.
Enjoyable read.

The Band continues to rock with the up and down storyline of Nikki and Jack. The storyline is good; the characters are interesting (we’ve met them all before), plot twists and turns are sort of meh—not really strong enough to keep your attention; and the HEA was no surprise. This particular story felt like it was really dragging in the middle...made it very difficult to stay engaged with the story. If you like these rock and roll bad boys, then add this one to your TBR list. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was glad to reach the end!)
From friends to lovers for 4.5 stars! A great take on the familiar theme with Nikki having had a crush on Jack and vice versa since they were young. They are the best of friends are involved in each other’s lives. Ms. Mae has done a wonderful job of expressing the emotions involved in such relationships as well as their finally giving in to their own desires. The preceding books are on my list of books to read! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is the first book I have read by Amelia Mae. I thought the storyline was good and I liked the characters. Jack and Nikki have know each other since they were young. Jack has issues with relationships and does not want to ruin his friendship with Nikki. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I was given an ‘arc’ copy of this book for an impartial review
Found this book for want of a better word lacking Kind of lacking in story backstory if I’m honest it kinda jumps from one part to another so wasn’t really for me Was an extremely easy read and very easy too follow perfect for a beach book
This was a pretty good read. Jack & Nikki had plenty of chemistry and the storyline was very good but it just didn’t go deep enough for me. I wanted a bit more angst and drama. What happened with Teo & Kat?!? That could have shaped up to be something really good. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
The book was ok. I couldn't really get into it. There was the angst of a divorce/death but I couldn't feel it as much as I wish I could have. The chemistry between the two main characters was good and the side romance of Kat and her man, very quick but cute. The book just didn't quite do it for me.
Wow - first time reading Amelia Mae and now I need more!!! I loved Jack and Nikki! Rocker, older brother's best friend, friends to lovers - what's not to love! Crushes, crossing the line, chemistry and sexy times! I will definitely be reading the other books in this series!!!
I enjoyed this friends to lovers story. Add that Jack is a rockstar and you have one of my favorite kind of stories. Nikki and Jack are great together and I enjoyed this story told in dual POV as I could understand what they both were feeling.
This was my first story in the series and I really enjoyed it! I did not feel like I missed anything not having read the previous stories. I really liked Jack and Nikki and the rest of the band.
I really liked Nikki & Jack's story. It was a sweet book & liked the characters. Am voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via hidden gems.
Jack and Nicki have known each other for a while but this is gonna be a turning point for their friendship and their future. They have a lot of complications to overcome but in the end, they might get a HEA after all. I'm voluntarily reviewing this after receiving a free copy from Hidden Arcs.
