指出伊朗对巴勒斯坦的支持出自长久以来的反帝与伊斯兰意识形态。巴解组织倾向世俗左翼，两伊战争还亲近萨达姆，故而是不可靠的。同样抱持泛伊斯兰主义的哈马斯就与其一拍即合。阿拉伯之春时，哈马斯出于泛伊斯兰立场反对阿萨德，与伊朗的政策冲突，背后其资金来源部分转向卡塔尔和穆兄会，但加沙问题上还是与伊朗紧密团结。历史事实可参考，但作者过分强调意识形态的作用，为伊斯兰共和国辩护的意图太明显。即使引用改革派和群众的发言，论证支持巴勒斯坦是伊朗所有政治光谱的公约数，但要求民众哪怕饿着肚子也要驰援巴勒斯坦，作为国策毕竟不可持续。既然共有的穆斯林认同要求我们输出革命，那不如干脆转向皇波斯民族主义吧！
