You just have to love Jagger
Definitely enjoyed reading about Jagger and Mikayla again. At some intervals Mikayla annoyed me for keeping Jagger in the dark. I get why it would make sense sometimes but then it also would have helped her when he thought that she wasn’t in love with him . Nevertheless, it was a good story and I’d recommend reading this book if you’ve read book 1

Not As Good As The First Time
I loved the first "Black Queen, Dark Knight" novel, but I just wasn't feeling this one. The supernatural plot seemed out of place, too vague and convoluted to even fit with Jagger and Mikayla. I am a diehard Amarie fan, so on to Trick's story!

I really don’t know how to review this book. It took me quite a bit of time to finish it as the first book left me pretty and unsettled.
The paranormal aspects were very interesting and somewhat plausible even in this day and age. There seem to be so much clutter around all the issues & it became very Difficult to follow the storyline.
Most of the characters were truly lovable and the chemistry somewhat good. Yet, there was still so much in between the spaces that left me feeling lost & Just ready to move on to the next story.
I really don’t know how to review this book. It took me quite a bit of time to finish it as the first book left me pretty and unsettled.

My Rationalization:
The main thing I can say about "Black Queen, Dark Knight II" was that it was one heck of a good BWWM romantic Suspenseful paranormal well-written read. I will say you will need to read this author's first series "Black Queen Dark Knight" to really understand what all is going on in this series. This story will take you through a little bit of it all from someone wanting to take Mikayla's crown on to lots of steamy hot sex and with some very shady characters but in the end it will be an interesting run in how these two [Mikayla and Jagger] are finally drawn back together in a happy place. And yes it will be good to see what this author has in store for us in the next series that features Trick and his ballerina Denise.

Dangerous and Intense
I give this book 5 stars and recommend it! I love a good conclusion to a story and that is what this is! Knowing that the story would move to Africa, I also anticipated the clash between ancestral spirits, demons and Christianity. The story did not disappoint! The struggle of being physically possessed by different levels of demons is frightening! I struggled, however, pinpointing when this began to happen for Mikayla. Did she become more susceptible when she visited with MamLalumi and was cut in her side? This was not clear.
It was also intense and sad to see Jagger lose his mind temporarily and break down at the thought of having known real love and to suddenly have your lover turn away from you. This was demonic as well. I was just glad that during her lucid moments that Mikayla had the presence of mind to reach out to her appointed best friend, Tricky for help. She wanted him to look out for Jag. He truly kept a clear head and saved the day for his friend Jag.
The story ended with Kayla and Jag having their bachelor and bachelorette parties ... Meaning that they were getting married. That also indicated that there is another book coming out, particles once it set the scene for Tricky to have a love interest with the Black Ballerina.
Like I said, I love good conclusions. Please bring in the Black Ballerina. No dangling participles please! Thank you in advance!!

Black Queen- Dark Knight Part 2 is a deliciously decadent thrillride of the journey of Queen Mykayla & her assassin extraordinaire ! Jagger is still a 💯 alpha bad boy, unaliving enemies without mercy, as he figures out how to gain a permanent place in his Queen's heart & palace! We get more of Trick's crazy shenanigans & we are introduced to the Black Ballerina who will be his love interest😲 One of the best part of this 📕 is seeing how Jagger's unshakeable love for Mykayla unearths his long buried humanity, while still maintaining his razor sharp edge as her beast mode protector! I could not put this book down, it held my attention from page 1 to the 2 extended epilogues which were the chefs kiss💋!

Mikayla finds herself as Queen of her country but doubting she can be all they need. She knows she still has enemies in her kingdom and is trying to uncover them. However, she knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jagger is her soul. However, a sinister plot has been launched to wed her to another. She feels herself slipping in to an alternate person but she can't figure out why. She seeks out the help of others who she thought were in her corner but are using her as a pawn.
Jagger is trying to keep it together while he waits on Kayla to allow him to be with her permanently. His sometime on/sometime off relationship with his friend Trip nearly leads him to getting killed. He discovers a side of Trip he has never known. He wants to annihilate Trip for his seemingly obsession with "Kayla". Read this dark sequel to book one as it unfolds within these pages.
I love the author, however, this ride made me anxious for Mikayla on many levels.

DIVINE!!!
Ok this book just blew book one right out of the park. Don't get me wrong book one was amazing and it perfectly laid out the premise and base of all of the characters but wow book two has elevated this story. I love the high action sequences, the dark supernatural undertones that was perfectly set up throughout the story. Kayla and Jagger definitely keep you entertained from start to finish. I really loved reading the growth of Kayla and Jagger and Trick's characters, they definitely showed their strength. I especially loved the mystery of trying to figure out who all the players of the deception were. I'm really looking forward to reading Trick's book with Denise, that blurb at the end definitely has you wanting more. I love reading these books on the X-Member's as well as the members of Vitality. I really really hope to see more of Kayla and Jagger in the future especially switch what was happening at the end of the book. Highly recommend this book!!!

Amazing!
I read the first book and was blew away. This book though surpassed its processor by miles. Jagger oh my Jagger.. I thought I loved Vic and no one would pass that, but Jagger comes slithering over with his blonde locks, sexy looks, alpha personality, dominating, protective, loving ways and I have fallen for him so it’s no surprise why Mikayla didn’t stand a chance. I love the detail and description, the adventure into the different countries in this book. The supernatural introduction. It was just an amazing book and I highly recommend.

Let me say by starting off the scene where grammy takes her teeth out and offers may head had me rolling with tears I was laughing so hard..As I was coming to the end of the book I was hoping trick and his ballerina would get their own story ,yess! I’ll admit, the 1st book kind of rubbed me the wrong way and I was hesitant when it came to reading the 2nd book.
Let me just say, I was NOT disappointed.
Again, Kayla got on my nerves a few times but it’s rare that I read a book where the “h” isn’t pigheaded. All she had to do was talk to Jag and he could have helped her a lot sooner.

Excellent Book!
I gave this book five stars because it was spectacular. I loved reading about Mikayla and Jagger. I loved everything about the book. All the characters were lovely. I can't wait to read about Trick and the ballerina. Great job Amarie! Keep up the great work.
