This is my first 'For Dummies' book. I wasn't sure what to expect but saw that it was quite highly rated in a number of places. I have an education in finance and accounting but needed to go back to the basics on some investing concepts. It's much different learning something for the first time and trying to pass a class vs having real life investing examples in front of me with my own retirement accounts to work on. There were quite a few formulas to work through but it's not too mathy. If you want to do fundamental analysis you are going to have to do some math. There's just no way around it. Working my way through Technical Analysis for Dummies next.
If you are new to fundamentals you will gain good knowledge about it. But the length of the book will kill your interest after reading half of the book.
