J.P.'s hobbies include watching far too much television, eating far too much ice cream, and pestering the hardworking employees at the local library. When not writing M/M fiction, J.P. is usually reading it, because what better way to relax on the beach.

wyatt comes back to his home town taking a position working with the blue star resort helping getting it up and running and didnt expect to be working side by side by a handsome CEO named wyatt.He also didn't expect the hott guy he met at a bar who he made out with in a back alley to end up being this said CEO. The moment he found out at their first meeting, he knew it would make things really complicated and knew he had to act like nothing happened between them if he wanted to make sure he stayed in good standing with his job. After starts grandfather passed away, wyatt was expected to follow in his foot steps as CEO of the blue star hotel resort and he had a lot of pressure on him to make sure he succeeded and there were a few people with doubts and he knew he had to prove them wrong after all the works he ha put in for the company. Then he meets a good looking guy at a bar and immediately is drawn to him and when this mysterious guy disappears after a hott kiss they share, he is suprised to find him sitting at the table oposite of him during a bussiness meeting. A rumor gets spread around and wyatt and dean decided not to let it tear them down and instead decided to embrace the rumor in Hope's peoples attention with soon go elsewhere. wyatt was quickly falling for dean but knew he was only there for a short amount of time and that after their work was done, he would be gone and he would probably never see him again. dean never care for small towns and there was nothing pulling him to castle harbor until wyatt appeared in his life and all of a sudden he felt himself not wanting to leave. I really enjoyed this story and both characters. Everything did happen pretty quickly though and I didn't feel that much of a connection between the two charcters as I would have liked but I'm not normally a huge fan of insta love and this was pretty much an insta love romance. Their love seemed super rushed at times but I still found myself unable to put it down. I finished it in one sitting!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fifth book in the Castle Harbor series. In this book, Dean comes to oversee the last of the Blue Star resort before it opens. Dean is the CEO of the company and has taken over from his grandfather. Dean's grandmother is his only living relative and she is sick. Dean is distracted from meeting the designers who are going to design the opening of the resort. When Dean realized Wyatt is working on the grand opening, Dean thinks it is a sign he can get to know him better. Dean and Wyatt had met briefly before at the bar in town and had an instant connection, but before it could go too far, Wyatt leaves telling Dean he has a meeting in the morning, unknown it is with him. When Dean and Wyatt get to know each other, there is still a connection, but Wyatt doesn't want to date Dean while working for him. Wyatt doesn't want people thinking he got his job because of a personal relationship to Dean. I really liked Wyatt, i thought he was a fine young man who wanted to work hard for himself and not rely on handouts from others. I like he stood up for himself. Dean was a good guy who was struggling with his loss of his grandfather and trying to run the company the way he would have wanted. I loved that Dean was so close with his grandmother and he wanted to be with her while she was ill. I really liked this whole series and fell in love with Castle Harbor.

Dean is a man who takes on the responsibility of CEO of his families company when his grandfather dies. In the final stages of the Castle's Resort's debut, he goes to stay on the Island to run things. Wyatt is one of the event planners for the opening of the Resort as well as Jessica, Wyatt's nemesis. The board of the company have not been happy with his performance and this might be his last chance to make it before he looses his job. His beloved grandmother is dying and he has a hidden romance with Wyatt until things go public. How does he make things right. How does he keep Wyatt safe from deadly episodes from his chronic disease. Will Dean be able to handle all of this or will he loose everything. An excellent story and would recommend this book and series to those fans of contemporary romance. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book

Last Resort is the story of CEO Dean who is working on opening a Resort in Castle Harbor, and Wyatt, an event planner who was chosen to work on the team that is planning the grand opening event. When a local reporter does an interview with Dean while Wyatt is in the room and they don’t flat out deny being a couple when she says they look cute together, she publishes a piece which ends up with people thinking Wyatt got the job by sleeping with Dean. Dean must try and fix things with Wyatt while dealing with his grandmother being ill and the company looking to fire him, while Wyatt must deal with the judgement from the townspeople.

Very cute story of two people working to save their reputations and jobs while struggling with their budding feelings for each other. Definitely recommend.

J.P. continues to sail over the bar set for series books! Wyatt, event planner, working on grand opening team. Dean, takes over as CEO after his grandfather dies. Currently, his grandmother is dying and his position as CEO is being challenged. They met one night, had feels. Next day realized they were working on Blue Star project. Wyatt wants to stay professional and avoid any conflict of interest because Wyatt has history with this issue. But . . . This is an amazing entertaining story demonstrating how Wyatt and Dean balance projects and personal lives. There are rocks, sticks, innuendo and conflicts thrown at them daily. But they are strong men. Will the opening be a hit for both? Can Wyatt and Dean find their HEA?

The resort is finally finished and ready to open. Braden hires Jessica and Wyatt to plan the opening gala for Blue Star hoping they can work together to blend her upscale ideas with his small-town feeling. Blue Star's CEO, Dean, comes to town to oversee the final details, and his first night in town he gets picked up by a local, who turns out to be Wyatt. There is drama upon drama for them with a nasty rumor about how Wyatt got the job, Dean's grandmother close to death and Dean's job on the line. These guys are sweet and vulnerable and caring, and the storyline is intense.

Wyatt and Dean have an instant attraction but circumstances have them trying to deny it.
This is am emotional and entertaining story with great characters and a storyline that keeps your attention. There is some angst, conflict, ups and downs, stress, frustration, tension, steamy sexy times, and more that leads to a deep connection, love, and a satisfying HEA.
I really enjoyed this story and definitely recommend it.

Throwing a party for the grand opening of the resort. Dean is the owner of the resort and is trying to impress the board and keep everyone happy with the opening of the resort. Deans grandmother passes away the night before the opening and gave Dean some good advise. Wyatt is a local and was hired to help make the grand opening amazing and include local help. Dean and Wyatt meet the night Dean gets to town. Can Dean and Wyatt have a relationship and still work together?

This is an enjoyable read. Dean and Wyatt have a moment at a bar and then find out they will be working together. Hmm...Awkward. The attraction is still there, and they struggle to balance their attraction with the need to be professional. With their careers and the success of the Blue Star Resort on the line, will they find a way to an HEA? This is a quick read, with wonderful, sweet characters. Very satisfying.

ONCE BITTEN, TWICE SHY

A great read where a large resort has gone ‘green’ to keep the surrounding environment and the aesthetic beauty of a small town intact leads to an event planner who has been falsely accused of sleeping to get to the top and the CEO of the resort’s company falling in love and having to deal with their different personal issues to stay with each other. A bit of diabetic savvy and the story captured me. There were scenes that I liked so much, I replayed them several times.

A very enjoyable and sweet story. Wyatt is one of the event planners for the grand opening of the resort and Dean id\s the CEO of the company that owns it. They first meet at a bar and their attraction is instantaneous and explosive but neither one expects to see the other the next day at the office. Wyatt really wants to keep things professional but their connection is undeniable and I like watching them grow closer. The narrator did a great job with the story and the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

This was was a quick read.. I would have liked to know how all the couple's were doing but I knew they all showed up at the end...This one was hard to read with a grandmother with cancer but as much as office romances go this wasn't bad..

Jericho goes to the Domican Republic but it seems teh vampires dont want him around. Plenty of action. well worth reading.
