A fun and cuddly story suitable for the early years. The book is touch and feel which makes it particularly useful for young children and children with sensory interest. The story follows a lion cub going through the jungle meeting many other wild animals and their babies. Good use of onomatopeia and children can predict animals and sounds. Fantastic illustrations and fun story for carpet time.

This is a great board book for infants that are able to focus on pages. My 6.5 month old son loves feeling the different baby animals' fur as the baby lion goes around saying hello to the various other baby animals him. It is a vibrantly colored book and isn't too wordy - just the right length for an infant or toddler's attention span.
