Forever Mine by Laney Powell a five-star read that will be yours always. This is a stand-alone in the Ireland Forever series and they each bring a little piece of the Green Isle to us, making this reader smile from ear to ear. This was such a great and compelling read, I adored it and it may just be one of the best of this series, I have only read one other story by this author The Shy Guy in the Matchmaker series and I adored that you don’t need to have read it before but if you had then there a great little nod to it here, It’s one of my favourite things as a reader. The twists will keep you hooked, and you will adore the story. I for one can’t wait to read more from this author.

Jyn writes for the Chicago Sun and she covers concerts for it. She's also a law student that doesn't really believe in relationships. Her friend offers her a chance to come to Dublin and see a band which she jumps at. Declan is the keyboard player in the band Blackthorn. He is tired of the groupies and is looking for something more when he meets Jyn. Jyn has no clue who Declan is even though she came to se the band with a friend. Declan and Jyn have an amazing night together and he knows that she is the one for him. However what will Jyn do when she finds out who is? Will Declan lose his chance with Jyn?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Good
I liked this story the best out of series that I have read so far. I liked both characters Jyn and Declan. I really liked that he wasn’t the stereotypical rocker manwhore and that she was comfortable in her sexuality and experienced, total opposite of a lot of books out there right now. This story was the perfect length for a short story!

Completely safe! H had been celibate a while and h does have a healthy sex life and prefers flings. No op drama and no abuse.

Forever Mine is a sweet, steamy, captivating story about Declan and Jynger. Declan is in the group Blackthorn and Jyn writes for the Chicago Sun. Loved how at first Jyn didn't know who Declan was. Declan and Jyn have great chemistry and are perfect together. Another great addition to the Ireland Forever Short Story series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is a book in the Ireland Forever series written by a variety of authors. In this book, Declan is a member of the group Blackthorn, but he isn't interested in random hook ups with fans, he would rather find someone he feels a connection to. Jyn is from Chicago and writes for a newspaper about the social scene, like new bars and concerts. When Jyn is invited to the concert for the week, she is really looking forward to it. Jyn goes to Dublin and has a few days before the concert to look around and then she plans to interview the band. On her first day at the castle, Jyn goes for a walk and meets Declan. They have an instant attraction to each other and when Declan invites her for dinner, Jyn agrees. They have a great time and soon find themselves back in Declan's room at the castle. Declan told Jyn he works with the band, but he didn't tell her he is a member because he is enjoying being with someone who didn't recognize him and likes him for being himself. The next morning Jyn mentions how she refuses to date band members because of a personal issue and Declan knows she is going to be angry when she finds out. I really loved this story. I loved the instant connection Jyn and Declan had with each other, I think they really cared for each other. i don't think Declan meant to hurt Jyn, he wasn't like the usual rock star and i think he wanted a relationship with her. Good one.

Jyn writes social editorials for the Chicago Sun. Clubbing and concerts are her job. She also teaches sailing on Lake Superior from spring through fall and goes to Law school. She doesn't do relationships, and never dates the guys in the band. Lately her meaningless hook up and short flings aren't as fun, so when her college friend Janie offers her a week in Dublin as a VIP guest of Blackthorn, the band she is managing, she jumps at the chance.
Declan is the keyboardist and vocals for Blackthorn. A little older than his band-mates, he is a little quieter and more private then they are. He is getting tired of the groupies, his last relationship ended in disaster. He just wants to fine a girl who wants Declan, not just Declan of Blackthorn.
Declan runs into the girl of his dreams, literally, in the garden of the castle the band is staying. Jyn doesn't seem to know who he is and it is clear she is one of Janie's friends. They just connect and have a perfect first date and a wild night. When Jyn finds how who he really is, Declan may have lost his soulmate.

So when Jyn literally walks into him there's an immediate chemistry. Forever mine is a short story that is a part of the forever Ireland novella series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining.
I really liked Jyn and Declan. I liked that Declan wanted Jyn from the moment he met her. I also liked that Jyn wasn’t a groupie. She had no idea Declan was a band member of Blackthorn. The chemistry between Declan and Jyn was clear to see. Having had a groupie mother, Jyn had a rule of not dating anyone in a band. When she finally discovers who Declan is, she is hurt and stubborn about giving him a chance. I liked that Declan went after the woman he loved. He wasn’t willing to lose her. I really liked the epilogue to this book. I liked seeing Jyn and Declan happy together. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.

I love Declan and Jyn!!! She is a social editor for a local Chicago paper. She mostly reports on the club scenes as well as what new and happening. She has been invited to Ireland by her good friend, Janie Locke, to write a story on the big event with Blackthorn. She reports on rock bands but absolutely draws the line at fraternizing or frolicking with a band member. She decides to take a walk in the castle gardens when she runs into Declan. The two hit if off immediately. However, she is in for a surprise when she finds out who he really is. I really enjoyed this story! Great chemistry between the two characters!! There is also some angst, drama and a little humor in this story. It's a very well written story with some great characters. The story is well developed, especially for the length. I look forward to reading more from this writer!

What a great read this book was brilliantly written it had a great fun flirty feel to it and the romance was of the charts.
Jynger comes to Dublin for the sites some fun and to write some great pieces on the band Blackthorne whilst there she bumps in to the most gorgeous Irish man she feels something instantly after a date one thing leads to another.... more connections are made...... fiery loving hot raw..... But Declan is hiding something he's not just with the band he is a part of the band and once Jyn see's it she is taken back she cannot be like her mother.

It has a little bit more twisted plot with instant lust filled connection between hero and heroine. No one likes to be lied to even if it is done by omission and shouldn't be really hurtful. Is it too late for Declan to gain Jyn's trust back and have a chance to win her heart? Thta's very romantic read with swoon worthy hero and very strong and independent heroine. Loved it very much.

Another sweet and sexy story to the Ireland forever books. The characters are strong and have a sizzling chemistry. Jyn works writing social media , goes to Ireland to cover a Blackthorne concert where Declan is the keyboardist. They have a connection but he's keeping his identity a secret from her. What happens when she finds out? It's an enjoyable story that moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

This is a terrific story. Jyn and Declan meet when she travels to Ireland to interview Declan and his band, Blackthorn. The attraction between them is immediate, but Jyn has rules that she lives her life by. The story follows Jyn and Declan’s relationship and the obstacles that they need to overcome to find the happy ever after that neither of them knew they needed. It’s a fast-paced story that had me hooked from beginning to end.

This was a great and quick read! It is perfect on a rainy day. I love reading anything by this author.
Jyn and Declan have a chance encounter at the hotel that they are staying at. Declan is a member of the band, Blackthorn, that will be playing in the concert. Jyn needs a break from her life as a social writer and takes up her friend's invitation to see the band. Jyn doesn't recognize Declan as a member of the band. She is not pleased when she finds out about his job because she has a rule about dating anyone from a band. She does not take this well. Declan will do anything to get her back. Will they be able to work things out?

Oh wow, what an amazingly hot and steamy but refreshingly fabulous book. We meet one of the band members from Blackthorn Declan and boy is he an hottie. He is single and ready for a lady in his life. Jyn flies over from the states to see Janie & interview Blackthorn but meets Declan. A magical but very sexy adventure entails with passion, drama & emotions run high.
An absolute must read that you will not want to put down xx

Oh, I love Jyn! She is fun and carefree and just goes with the flows and is not ready for any relationship and she doesn't date anyone from a band. Of course, Declan comes in and ruins all her rules. I loved them together and could sense their chemistry through the screen. The story was well written and it made me feel everything they were feeling. I kept screaming trying to get them to finally just admit their feelings. Loved it!

Jyn gets invited to Ireland by her friend to attend a Blackthorn concert so she decides to go because she also writes for a trendy magazine. She meets Declan who doesn't like the limelight and they hit it off but then finds out he is in the band and that is a big no no for her. Loved this story that keeps you reading and Declan is just too hot for his own good.

Jyn and Declan are magical. The story is a bit longer than the other Ireland Forever books I've read thus far and means I got to spend more time with these amazing characters.
Declan is a hottie and Jyn is the perfect woman for him. The thrills are chills you'll get will hook you in and will imprint in your head.

This is the 4th book I've read written Laney Powell; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Keyboardist + journalist/law student = trouble
This is my favorite of the “Ireland Forever” books so far. It was just fun and flirty and not overly dramatic. (Thank God!). Even when there was a problem, the characters acted like adults and resolved it without too much incident and drawing it out. How very refreshing! I appreciate that so much! There was plenty of steam in the book and it was still a nice romantic novella. And Laney Powell has a new fan!!

A surprisingly cute and well written story. Because of the short length I did not think that is could have as much depth as it has. Great storyline and plot. I like she takes the chance and goes for her HEA when she meets the mystery guy. Declan is so adorable and one that she should go for.
I loved their story because it seamed so real. I liked it is written in dual POV because that gives the reader more of the feelings and thoughts of the main characters. The epilogue is so welcomed.

Moving to Ireland now!

A very sweet yet very sensual short story. In a very short span, the characters were well defined and a well thought out short story was executed.
