I love Mahabharata retellings, especially from the female perspective, so these two were right up my alley. And they turned out to be brilliant reads. The excessively detailed stage directions could distract from the story a bit - but especially in কথা অমৃতসমান, it also enhanced the narrative. At times, it was like a commentary on the play, rather than simply directions. However I think this would be better watched, than read.
