This was such a beautiful, emotional and moving read. It's hard to believe that Jade is only 18, her writing and ability to portray such important subjects in a delicate and eloquent way is incredibly impressive.

This poetry collection really deals with love, heart break, self love, mental health and so many other topics.

I loved the mix of long and short poems. They were all so well done and some really hit home. My favourite was 'abandoned age 6' which Jade wrote when she was 12 years old. I think this poem really shows the natural talent Jade has for writing.

Also the art work in this book is beautiful! All the pieces really suit the poems they are paired with.

Even though I've read this now, I know I will return to a couple of these poems when I'm having a bad day. They were all so beautiful and emotionally impactful.

If you love poetry or struggle with self love, mental health or addiction, I would really like to think you will find solace in this wonderful collection of poetry.

Trigger warnings: self harm, suicide, sexual assault, alcoholism and drugs. There are helplines at the back of the book (which is really nice)

This was an amazing debut collection! It will really inspire young people and help them think more positively. The second half was a much stronger read for me because I could personally relate to it more. Regardless, it was still an incredible debut.

I always love a poetry book as there is usually always something that sticks out and I find incredibly relatable. Expect for this book!! I really disliked this collection. It felt like a GCSE assignment instead
Of something more in depth and meaningful. I didn’t relate to any of the prose/poems but found it incredibly immature and simple. Not for me!!

It was more like reading someone’s thought process. The longer pieces were interesting.
