This ends here. It ends with us.

After seeing the horrors Strand inflicted in the name of research, I thought they couldn’t surprise me anymore.

I was wrong.

When we learn the truth behind Doctor Shepherd’s experiments, it changes everything. Armed with that knowledge, we may finally have a way to end the Shifter Initiative once and for all.

But even as we dig up Strand’s secrets and prepare for our final confrontation with them, I’m keeping a secret of my own. From my pack, and even worse… from my mates.

When they find out what I’ve been hiding, will I lose everything I’ve been fighting for?

Wolf Claimed is the thrilling conclusion to The Last Shifter series, a reverse harem story intended for ages 18+. This book contains strong language, violence, sexual situations, and a fierce heroine who doesn't have to choose between her men.

Ya know.. not my favorite but it wasn't terrible either?

Wolf Freed is the fourth installment to The Last Shifter series. In it, you will have the same gang going against the Strand. It also doesn't hurt that Lexi is the Alpha of these misfit wolves. The last thing she needs is for everyone to realize how special she truly is to the Strand. Mostly because her eggo is preggo.

Now of course, we know that a few people know about this truth. It sucked that she was keeping it from her mates and I could only image how all these guys are going to blow up once she find out what she has been hiding from them. I was also intrigued to see what was going to happen once she ran into Doctor Shepherd again.

Not surprised with how crazy this guy was but he definitely deserved what he got in the end. The fight was a bit anti-climactic and predictable but I did end up devouring the crap out of this book. It just took me like a week to finally write the reviews (oops?).

Overall, the ending was cute and I was pretty happy that more people had the chance to get pregnant. No idea what these new pups will bring to the clan because they are natural born shifters.. but I wouldn't say no to reading a book from their kids pov.

I liked all the other books but I did NOT like the M/M thrown into this one. Let’s just randomly change a huge relationship dynamic. I don’t like M/M in RH and I definitely don’t like it thrown into the last book of a series and not even get a warning.
There was no reason to change up the relationship dynamic in the very last book. To me throwing the MM in RH is like cheating. They are supposed to revolve around the MC, not get side booty with each other. 🤦🏼‍♀️

You know, I liked this less than the previous books in the series. I think the problem was, And out of character. And I was mad that, except for a blip with Jackson, she had zero consequences for her shitty betrayal.

Secondly, I felt like there were some odd TSTL leaps in this book, and that hadn't previously been a problem in this series.

I just expected so much better, honestly.

I'm giving it 3.5 stars.

This was a decent enough series but I’m not sure it needed so many books given it was the same long out drama and enemy from the start. At the start the premise really did remind me of the Breeds series by Lora Leigh or even the Species series by Laurann Dohner. In the end this series went in a whole different direction and rather than shifters just being a science experiment instead they’re a miracle of science created by a doctor who somehow stumbled upon a cave in the states with magic water like some twisted fountain of youth. Pretty sure there were some editing errors that also transferred to the audio which made for a weird experience. Other than that the audio was well done and made the series fly by. The end was very fitting especially for the enemy but I do feel like I had so many more unanswered questions after their visit to the cave system. Other than that it was an overall fun read and the epilogue wrapped up their HEA nicely.

This last book was... decent. I had a couple problems with it.

1. Alexis hiding her pregnancy for the first half of the book was infuriating. She literally told everyone else but her mates. It was stupid, because they would have supported her. Her only argument was that they would make her sit out of the fight. Which didn't even happen. They let her lead the charge with no complaint. Sooo yeah, kind of stupid.

2. WE NEVER GOT TO KNOW WHAT COLOR ALEXIS'S FUR WAS. I don't know why that bothers me so much, but it does.

3. The change is West and Rhys's relationship. I have no problem with M/M romance. I love it in fact. But I didn't love it in this one. It pretty much sprang up out of nowhere. Like there wasn't even any signs of their relationship being more until the last book . And in the previous books, everyone said their pack were pretty much blood brothers. So it felt a little weird that they went from calling eachother brothers to making out. (Again, this is no hate towards M/M relationships, just the circumstances that this particular one was under)

Other than those problems, I liked the book. The plot was pretty good. I was glad that the sleaze ball Shepard finally got what was coming to him. Of course everyone got their HEA <3 I was happy that Val was able to find her daughter again.

I didn't want this series to end 😭 Alexis and her mates are great characters. I can't decide which is my fave - it's often between Jackson and Rhys.

Plenty of action (of both kinds 😉) means that there arent any unnecessarily slow parts.

There is a touch of MM in this one which was great. After all the guys had been through together even before Alexis, it felt natural for that sort of bond to exist.

Well, I have finished the final book of the series! This was a great series! I loved how the author continued to surprise the reader. An excellent job! I usually don’t read series like this because they don’t continuously keep me engaged. However, I couldn’t put these books down. I enjoyed this series and I will definitely read more by this author. I would give this a 4.8

Good ending

Nice conclusion, HEA and all. Tied up all my questions, though some just haphazardly done, but still answered. Overall this seriea was pretty good, a solid 4 out of 5 stars and definitely worth the read.

The action in this one was exciting! It was cool to see what they'd do with the Source, and how they used it to kill Doctor Shepherd, using his own weapon against him.

I appreciate how concise this series felt. It didn't go into great detail with some things, but it also cut right to the point and wasn't drawn out with a bunch of sub-plots, which I think would have really detracted. Its simplicity also helped me get over the simple ending where evil was conquered and everyone lives happily ever after as one big family (it was super convenient that they only had to overcome one bad guy to topple the entire scheme).

Like it until...

I liked this series until the male on male action happened. I usually skip over the intimate parts but sometimes I read them...and now I wish I didn't.

Now, I can't finish it. Male on male maybe some peoples thing but not mine. It's a personal thing.

I hate the end of a really good book! More especially, I really hate the end of an extraordinary series that has held my deep attention from the beginning. I can’t believe that we’re at the end of this journey – and considering the travelling that has taken place in these books, I really do feel as though I’ve been on an epic journey!

The problem with writing a review for the last book of a series is that it would be so easy to give away spoilers, not just for this book, but also for the books that have come before. How do I tell you anything new without giving away spoilers and how do I repeat the awesome points without simply sounding repetitive?

The intrigue, mystery and the battle against the Goliath bad guys continues to rage. And while that continues, there are relationships that have some fearful starts and some that have more hopeful beginnings; and there are some that keep growing and blossoming and developing into something of continued beauty.

The pace of the story, throughout 4 books, has moved at a speed which was perfect for whichever storyline was in play at the time. The development of each scene is as always brilliant and detailed and, from an emotional perspective, in this last one especially, I was overwhelmed by a plethora of emotions throughout the read. I had so many feely moments and I was so happy at the end I was just bawling coz my heart was so full. It was amazing!

Is it enough to say that this last installment, this ending (if it truly must be so), was UTTER PERFECTION?
The ending was so well rounded and tied every aspect of the story up in a perfectly formed bow with such seamless resolution for all. This book resonated with me on so many levels – it felt like a metaphor to remind me of the happy endings we all hope for in our daily lives as we fight our own battles. Some battles are bigger than others, though!

It was perfection and I can’t wait to read it again!

Reading some of the other reviews for this last book I almost wonder if we had read different versions - the ending was perfect. I don’t even typically like pregnancy in my PNR, especially my RH ones. But this just… fit. It worked into the plot flawlessly.

I like that Alexis stayed flawed and kind of reckless and fairly insecure in her position as Alpha, I like that it wasn’t an easy win for them and that at the last minute Elijah and the half of the pack that opted to sit the fight out came in to support them and THAT is what turned the tide - not Alexis and her men. It showed true development of trust and respect, which I think was necessary for this story to work. I love that she leaned on others instead of doing the stereotypical lone wolf “im an island” alpha crap; she leaned on her men but she also leaned on the friends she made. And can I say how much I loved that she made meaningful female friends?! Do you know how rare that is in series like this? Molly was perfection! Val was amazing! Sariah was adorable and so sweet.

Was I a little sad there weren’t more steamy scenes? Sure! Was I really hoping for a full harem scene? Absolutely. But did I love the way Sadie set up the connection between West & Rhys and how it didn’t hurt the dynamics with the other guys? You’re dang right I did. It was beautiful. And honestly Jackson and Noah on their own were perfect on their own. All four men were absolutely reverent of Alexis and she appreciated it. Another thing that’s sometimes weirdly lacking in RH stories that I’m so glad Sadie Moss included. And the scenes we did get were delicious! And weren’t filler, they advanced the plot every time and meant something.

No more. It's time to take the fight to Strand. With Carl's connections, they have been able to find more information about Strand's operations. They must end the Shifter Initiative once and for all.

Goodness, this book went off the rails. So many unanswered questions. So many unasked questions! What is the Source? Where did it come from? You're just going to destroy it? What if it's the answer to human disease? They took the fight to Strand. Destroy and kill, risk themselves and the future. Did they never consider going public? The American public would not be able to deny the proof of their existence with simple demonstrations and would not accept a corporation stealing children to conduct experiments on. Shut it down. Imprison the monsters. Have the Source studied in a lab, not on people. I also took issue with West and Rhys. I am a fan of M/M within the RH if done exactly right. However, West was already conflicted with the bond, Rhys was distracted by his sister. Their focus wasn't on Alexis like I felt it should be already and now they are interested in each other. Nope, doesn't work for me. Sariah voicing her opinion of Alexis's secret in the way she did, rubbed me the wrong way. She was way out of line as a sister and to her Alpha. For a character who had contributed nothing, her big moment wasn't good.

Finally, don't read if you haven't finished the series. Mini-spoiler. Two years later? Eating mashed sweet potatoes and baby babble? The timeline fit a one-year-old better, maybe even younger.

Wolf Freed (The Last Shifter Book 4)

Wolf Freed (The Last Shifter Book 4)  ~~ This is the payoff. Everything Alexis has endured — the fear, betrayal, confusion, and heartbreak  finally leads here. Watching her reclaim her power and her choices was incredibly satisfying. She’s no longer the hunted woman from Book 1; she’s fierce, grounded, and done being controlled.

Noah, Rhys, Jackson, and West finally come together as they should, and I loved seeing how each relationship found its balance. The emotional closure felt earned, not rushed, and the darker elements of the story were handled in a way that made the ending feel complete.

This book gave me exactly what I needed: resolution, strength, and a sense that every painful step of the journey mattered.

Final Thoughts This series is a solid reverse-harem paranormal romance with real emotional weight, strong character growth, and a heroine who truly earns her ending. Alexis is flawed, brave, and easy to root for, and her four wolves bring just the right mix of tension, protection, and frustration to keep things interesting.

I would definitely recommend this series, especially if you love shifters, slow-burn bonds, and FMCs who grow into their power instead of having it handed to them. And yes — be ready to yell at your Kindle along the way. 🐺📖

Wolf Freed was the conclusion to The Last Shifter series (they must be read in order) and it was a perfect ending for the series. The entire story was building to this, and there was definitely a cinematic finish to all of the story elements that I enjoyed a lot. Something I felt there had been subtle groundwork laid for previously actually come to fruition in the romance department and I was pleased by that. I also loved that the author had Lexi express the same concerns over the forthcoming event (revealed at the end of book three) that I had, and I thought those were resolved in a delightful way. In fact, the entire happy ending was really nice and rewarding. Shifter stories aren't my favorite, and when I do read them I generally prefer the heroes to be uber-alpha males who are extra jealous/possessive, but even though this series didn't really have those personal preference qualities, it was written and edited very well (as usual for this author) and had consistent pacing, some unique ideas I hadn't read before and was just an entertaining read that I enjoyed progressively more as it went on.

Awesome read. Alexis and her mates decided to go back to the St Louis Center to see if they can find any information on the Strand Corporation, the Source, and Dr Shepard. They find more than they thought they would but it takes Alexis getting caught by Dr Shepard and her mates finding her quicker than Dr Shepard thought they could.
They capture Dr Shepard and vital information in doing so. They have Carl go thru Dr Shepherd's computer and find where the rest of the wolves are. They had tried to force information out of Dr Shepard but he would not answer them. But, Dr Shepard, underestimates how smart Alexia is and she discovers where the Source is.
There is so much is in these stories you get drawn in and you do not want to stop reading. They are very graphic stories thru out.

Audiobook Review:

I absolutely loved the conclusion to this series. It was full of action and thrilling moments. It wasn’t all smooth sailing for the main characters but at the same time there was so much love between them. And the ending was fantastic. It was better than I imagined. Sadie Moss is quickly becoming a go to author for me. And paired with an amazing narrator like Laurel Schroeder it was a book I didn’t want to put down and absolutely loved. I read this entire series as a box set through kindle unlimited, so I am going to write one review for all of the books.

I have never read a reverse harem romance before and I wasn't quite sure what to expect but a few friends had highly recommended it so I decided to give it a shot. This was written in such a way that I didn't feel awkward or weird and the relationships felt real and progressive naturally. I really love that the author took the time to build each relationship on their own and build it slowly rather than BAM. The other thing I really loved was that there was so much story to these characters that it wasn't a book written just to have a harem sex scene or something like that. There was a story and it was written really well.

An Outstanding 4.5 Star Series Finale!!🌟🐺💘

This final book in this series has everything we could want. Tension & more intrigue, romance & steam, redemption & sacrifice as well as everything the Shifters have been searching for and it has an epilogue that'll set your heart free!!💕🙏🌟🔥

I've loved each character, especially their growth, throughout these books. I loved Carl & Molly & how they more than stepped up for their friends!!🙏😎 Dr Shepard & Strand Corp are the 'baddies' in these books but it's his zealot ideology what is at its heart & is it's truest vileness in the end!!😡😔💥

An unmissable RH Shifter series with so much heart it's shines!!🌟🔥💘🐺

Just so good! A perfect ending!

This series has been amazing! Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. So much happens in these books and it is truly action packed. I won't ruin the suprise, but "The Source" wow, just wow. I am sure I had a very strange look on my face during that! I really want to talk about it, but I will refrain, just know that this series put a new twist on shifters and it was creepy. Sadie Moss has done an amazing job with the series and the characters really grow throughout the books. It has a great storyline and some things you just don't expect, which I loved! So, so good! Can't wait to read more from this author!

This was a great series, and I devoured it over a few days. The story really gripped me, and I couldn't get enough. Alexis was a grounded heroine struggling to come to grips with her new reality after her world gets turned upside down, and she does this in a very admirable way. she was strong enough to know she could do it on her own, but also not afraid to accept help. The guys were all beautiful and respectful towards her, which is sometimes hard to find in lots of pnr and erotic romance. So thank you Sadie Moss! Reverse harem has become a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, and I loved how Moss combined that with wolf shifters - yum!

A good series

I enjoyed these books, there weren't any twists or anything, but it was smoothly written all the way through.

Admittedly the only thing that threw me off was the random (very light) MMF thrown in there. Don't get me wrong, it was sweet, but two of the guys seemed to have a stronger bond than the others generally, I assumed it was because they were just better friends. Suddenly they're making out while Alexis is doing stuff with them. Again, it was sweet, and I have absolutely nothing against MMF at all, but it just seemed ... random.

Love the ending, and love all the characters! (Especially her mates!)

Am disappointed with the last book in this series. I really like this author but I just found the outcome of the source a little ludicrous. I found it hard to accept the shift in Wes and Rhys’s dynamic. It just didn’t seem to ring true with their characters. Whilst satisfied with the ending, I was still left with questions. Sadie’s Magic Awakened Series was outstanding. I just felt this series couldn’t compete and would have possibly been better if it had been a trilogy.

5 stars for Wolf Freed by Sadie Moss. This is the 4th and final book in The Last Shifter Series. Wow what a series this was. The group has decided to fight The Strand Corporation. The want to have an actual future with out having to look over their shoulders. Alexis is such a badass in this book. This book does pick up right where book 3 ended. I do not want to ruin anything about the ending but man is it a great one. I loved how Sadie ended the series and did not leave us guessing on anything . Such a great series and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Same review as for book 1.

Alexis spent ten years locked away in an experimental laboratory. She was told that she was very sick by the doctors and her mother. But the doctor she saw all the time had other plans for her. What she also didn't know was that the experimental serums she was given were altering her DNA. To become a wolf shifter. One day, the facility was attacked by four gorgeous men. They were there to rescue the sister of one of the men, but she wasn't there. But they took Alexis with them. Let the games begin. Amazing story.
