When your life spirals out of control you do one of two things: you let it or you stand up and defeat the demons that threaten you.
Amanda Benson faced a similar experience and ran from it, leaving Edinboro without a trace. She worked hard to get her life together and realized that to fully succeed in building a new life she had to go back and face the old one.
When she arrives back in town, a chance encounter changes her life. She’s given a home, a job, and a family. She believes that she is on the right track. That is until she falls in love with the man that made it all happen.
Nothing can take away the heartbreak that she suffers while she watches him love the woman from his past. Not even the comfort she finds in the arms of another man can take away the pain.
Desperately searching for a love to last a lifetime, Amanda is too blind to see that the man who truly loves her is the man that she believes will destroy her.
Jealousy threatens to take hold and—if she isn’t careful— will ultimately destroy her and any chance she may have at having her own happy ever after.

edit biographydelete Biography Amy Cecil is an award-winning Indie author of both historical and contemporary romance. Her penchant for Austen fan fiction, won her the title of Favorite Historical Romance Author (2016-2017) while her MC series has won several awards throughout the Indie community. Recently, she has expanded her repertoire to the thriller and erotic genres.
For as long as she can remember, Amy always had a book (or two) that she was reading for the love of getting lost within its pages. Amy has been heard to have said, “I’ve never given much thought to becoming a writer myself until I realized that if I hadn’t written my own version of Mr. Darcy, I might have run out of material to read.”
And thus, her first novel was born, A Royal Disposition. In the words of Miss Austen herself, “I wish as well as everybody else to be perfectly happy; but, like everybody else, it must be in my own way.” Ms. Cecil writes to do just that.
She lives in North Carolina with her husband, Kevin, and their four dogs. When she isn’t creating her next masterpiece, or traveling the country for book signings, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and of course her fur babies.

Honey honey honey!!! I just love my girl, she has been through hell and back and still kicks butt and takes names. Now at this point in her life she just wants to feel safe and Hawk is that safety net. She knows that Ice is now with Emma but she wants to prove her to be cheating, "to help a friend", I don't think so and neither does Hawk. Then Sainte comes along and flips her thinking all around. Amy Cecil has taken Knights of Silence MC to a higher level with Raw Honey and the introduction of the Vitali family is about to rock your world. Be prepared to fall in love with Amy Cecil's MC family. I can't wait for more!
We've met Honey/Amanda already but now we get her story. This book overlaps the timelines in previous books which I loved! It reminded me of past events and gave another perspective of them. I'm not going to say much about what happens as I tend to accidentally put spoilers. I will say I was doing a lot of "Oh no" "seriously" and "what!" during my reading experience. I loved the flow, just a good pace to keep my attention and having me anxious to read the next page. There are answers yet to be had and I will leave this review with this - I'm torn about my feelings for Honey and can't wait to see which way they go in the next book!
Raw Honey Knights of Silence MC Book 4 By Amy Cecil
Amanda Benson has been through hell and I mean hell and she's still torturing herself. She left Edinboro without a trace. Nobody knew where she went or what happened to her. She's worked so hard to get her life back together, but there's still something missing and she doesn't know what. Then all of a sudden it hits her. If she wants to make it in her new life she's got to go back to Edinboro where it all started and stare down those demons that sent her spiraling out of control and defeat them once and for all.
When she arrives back in town a chance encounter totally changes her life. Now she has a home, a job, and a family as well. The best part is she's appreciated for who she is now. That is,until she falls in love with the man who made this all happen. Now nothing can fix the heartache she feels while watching him love her. Who's her you ask? Well that's his past, present, and God forbid future I'm talking about. Now not even the comfort she finds in someone else's arms can take away her pain....or can it?
Desperate to find her own happily ever after, Amanda is too scared to see that the man who truly loves her for who she is, is waiting right there in the wings with open arms. But until she realizes what is truly going on jealousy being a the cruel, vandictive thing that it is will rear it's ugly head and try to destroy everything she holds dear.
Amy Cecil blew my mind with this. I have never read a book like this in my life and I must say I more than enjoyed it. The passion the main characters have for eachother is utterly mind boggling. If everyone loved and fought like this we would live in a wicked world. From the moment I started reading this book to the moment I closed it I was lost. This is among one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading and I can't wait to have another glimpse into the lives of these characters.
About: Amanda battles addiction. What pushes her over the edge and causes her to get help is stealing from her fiance and leaving him at the altar. Two years after she becomes clean, she returns home. Fearing facing anybody after all that she's done, she finds herself in an area she's not familiar with. She manages to prove herself and become one of the group. She finds herself happy and content until Ice's love turns up out of nowhere. Plot: This is technically book five in a series. Three from the series and one from a spin-off series that should be read as book four. Most of this book is from the first three books but in Honey's point of view. The last part is new information. I don't really have a problem with that really. It helped clear up some things that the first three really didn't. Characters: I really adored Honey in the first three books. I thought she was sweet and caring. Everybody seemed to adore her. However, I don't adore her as much now. She's selfish and rude. She blames people who she should be working together with and confiding in. She should be lending support. I really would have liked to see more of the rest of the characters. I forget the one guy's name, but he's new. I can't wait to read more about him. Narration: This book was narrated by the same two as the first four books. Maya May and Mark Bravo. They have been terrific in every single book so far. I would definitely grab any audiobook that I see they narrate. Suggestions: None that I can think of. Recommend: Definitely! Please read the series in order though. The order is listed in the description of the books on Amazon. Probably other places too.
I was so excited to get the next installment of my favorite biker gang the Knights of Silence MC. The book focuses on Honey and her back story and her thoughts and actions intertwining with the previous three books. Ms. Cecil weaves a plot line where you feel like you are there in the room and experiencing the events through the characters eyes. I have been hooked from page one of this sexy, intriguing series with a cast of characters that I fall more in love with each time. Thank you for creating and allowing us a look inside the world of the Knights.
Holy guacamole!! I just got through reading Honey’s story and my mind is justabuzzin’!! ❤️❤️❤️ If you have been reading the Knights books, then this is a MUST read. It is Honey’s background, told in her words, the previous books in this series as seen through her eyes. Plus some new storyline. I was always torn about my feelings towards Honey, and after reading her story I’m still torn. I was saddened by her backstory, but really infuriated with her regarding Ice and Emma. And don’t get me started about her true feelings for Hawk. (Thoughts we see in her head). Then as the book progressed, I was feeling a little better, until Sainte came into the picture. That whole situation had me laughing at her antics. But wowza, the PASSION was scorching!! I hope this review leaves you with a want to read this book, you really shouldn’t miss it. And of course, it’s a lead in to the next few books. I can’t wait, I always want the next book now. Lol, 😉 I absolutely love this series and definitely recommend you to read it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Leaving her would be husband at the altar and pawning her engagement ring for drugs, Amanda Benson was in a bad place, so she left Edinboro with no plans to return. Except now she's back, she's clean, and she has no one to turn to. Sitting outside of an MC club, she's silently hoping for a fresh start when Ice comes and takes her in.
She's given the nickname, Honey, a home, and a ready-made family in the members of the club. She fits right in as their mother hen, cooking their meals and taking care of them. While she instantly hits it off with Hawk, she has her eyes set on Ice, and while they do make a go of it for a while, when Emma returns to Ice after so many years apart, he only has eyes for Emma. Honey is feeling a bit sore at being left behind, but she starts to form a friendship with Emma, and she puts her hurt feelings on the backburner.
Honey has a clear sense of right and wrong and when she sees wrong, she goes after it with a vengeance. So when Ice has Sainte come to the clubhouse to help out, things get turned upside down, and Honey is having none of that. She becomes hostile and vocal, she wants things to be as they should be. While she's made great strides, she still has a lot of growing up to do and Sainte just might be the man to help her do just that.
Told in Honey's point of view, we get an alternative look at previous events. We also get to meet Sainte, and the chemistry between him and Honey is explosive. I loved their instant connection and I love how assertive Sainte is, I think he is going to be really good for Honey. From reading the previous books I knew there was a lot of history in Honey and I couldn't be happier that she got her chance to speak in Raw Honey. She's sassy, she speaks her mind, and she knows what she wants. Cecil has done an amazing job not only in telling Honey's story but in the Knights of Silence series. Very well done!
OMG, this is such an emotional book, I loved it, it is written from Honey's perspective, as she tells her story from the beginning when she comes back to Edinboro after getting clean and is sitting outside the clubhouse when Ice finds her and gives her a home, job and family, it progresses through the events of the three books and carries on from the last page of book three, if you have read that book then you will know what I am talking about, but I am not going to spoil it for anyone new, and I can honestly say that I am not a fan of Honey, however, you really need to grab this as it's exciting and action packed and fast paced. Anyway, there is a new face amongst the club and to say I was upset with a certain someone and rather sad is an understatement.
I would definitely recommend this, it was one I couldn't put down and will be reading again and I can't wait for book 5.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion.
Honey was found on the side of the road near the MC club house and town by Ice the President of the MC. Wondering where she should go from there. Ice took her to the club house. Gave her a home, a job, and a family. She felt safe. Honey thought she had everything or did she? She thought she had and loved Ice. Until the day a past love came back into Ices club and right back into his life. Hawk and Honey were finally going to give it a try. This is until Ice was arrested because of Emma. Vince Ice's lawyer and Sainte Emma's new bodyguard and a trusted friend of Ice's comes into town. Honey didn't trust Sainte from the minute she saw him. Honey thinks Sainte is wanting Emma. Until the night Sainte kisses Honey and sends her world into a tale spin. What happens? What will Honey do? One click and read to see what happens. You won't regret it. Thank you Amy for another amazing book.
Amanda (Honey) has overcome a dark and painful past which has shaped her into the woman she is today. She has found a family within the Knights of Silence and was content with her relationship with Ice, the President, however when the only woman he has ever loved returns she finds herself questioning her place and her life.
Just when she thinks she has her life back on track a new man comes to the MC and into her life. He not only infuriates her but lights a fire within her that she has never felt before and she must decide if she is going to allow the past to overrule her future.
In this story we see certain events through Honey’s viewpoint and although I didn’t like her at times, she is definitely a compelling character and I look forward to learning more about her. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobooks and enjoyed the performance of the narrators.
I hated Honey, hated her. I was sad that in the previous books, I kind liked her and was happy that she took Ice's and Emma relationship well, I guess that must have been wishful thinking. I mean I get that you can't just turn off your feelings but I would have respected her better if she lied to herself or didn't play with Hawk's feelings. Her inner rants about Emma pissed me off, I thought she was a better woman than that, and I feel she needs to apologize because Emma has been nothing but nice to her, she treated her to a spa day and was genuinely trying to be her friend..Yeah can't stand Honey anymore. Yeah and am tired of this author leaving us with a cliffhanger-, yeah I like series have no problem with them but I do not like to be left hanging.
So flipping good. I really loved how you had Honey POV. It was so different and got to know Honey a little bit more than the previous books. It gave you a new feel of her and how important she really was to everyone. She was more the rock for everyone involved. There were several places in the book where I almost cried because I felt for Honey and some of the situations where she was involved. Loved it so much.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advancedbook Reader Copy of this ."
This book spanned the whole series we saw her go through so much but the men are messing her around I want to see her her get the love that she deserves. I did in the first book that she was a rat but she is so procectivebin the book it was nice to see loved it
In this one we get to see things through Honey's point of view. She has had her struggles and over come them. I think Honey getting her thoughts and feelings straighten out is going to make her life so much better and she's going to find what's she's been looking for.
I was so hyped about this book. I really liked Honey since book 1 and could not wait to see what Amy had in store for us. She did not disappoint. I don’t want to give anything away but I feel we are just really getting to know the true Honey.
If you have read the Knights of Silence MC series from the beginning than half of this book is a refresher of what happened in ICE. Yes we get to see it from Honey's point of view but I was wanting more. We do get to know Honey's back ground. I just need more if her. I feel like I still don't know her as well as some of the other characters. I hope she gets an HEA. I am looking forward to the next book.
Knights Of Silence MC returns with Honey (Amanda). Her book will give you more of her backstory as well as keep you guessing. 90% of the time I love Honey but she has her moments that made me want to scream. I can't say much for fear of giving something away but I absolutely loved this book and am eagerly awaiting the next installment. Amy Cecil always delivers a captivating read and leaves you wanting more.
I have to say I have loved all the books up to this one. Two and a half stars are what I would rate it if they allowed half stars. The only reason for that is I don’t like how Ms. Cecil treated Hawk in the book. Hawk has waited for three years for Honey and loved her when she couldn’t love herself and instead of rewarding that she slaps him in the face. She introduced Sainte in the picture by Ice making him Emma’s bodyguard. She could have let Hawk and Honey get their HEA and then introduced Sainte’s love interest near the end. Yes, I do know that sometimes the writer has one thing in mind when they start to write, but as they are writing the book something else comes out. Ms. Cecil could have started with the idea to have Hawk and Honey end up together, but somewhere during the writing process Sainte called to her, and well the book took a turn. But she is the writer so she could have twisted it in the end and put Hawk and Honey together. Also, Honey started as a character I like in the first book, but by this book, I am not her biggest fan. Yes, she had a messed up past, and I can honestly say that I totally understand her past. But Honey’s jealous behavior was just too much. It is well written, and I am glad about the way other things worked out, but I personally hate when an author does what Ms. Cecil did to Hawk. So, I am very disappointed in this book. Even with this being said I will read Sainte when it comes out because I do want to finish this series and see Hawk finally get his HEA.
I was really looking forward to book 4 coming out. It was interesting to see things from honeys POV, and to see her resolve some internal conflict. However, this book just basically retold what already happened in the other books, so I feel like it was a waste.
Great Story & Audible Listen🎧 Awesome Characters & Series!
Raw Honey Knights of Silence MC, Book 4 By: Amy Cecil Narrated by: Maya May Bravo, Mark Bravo
I loved this book, it is entertaining and captivated my attention from start to finish. It was great to learn Honey’s back story and revisit some events and storylines from earlier “Knights of Silence MC” book, told in her POV. This is one of my favorite MC series, Amy Cecil is a gifted author, I enjoy her writing style and the characters and storylines she created, as well as dynamics of the MC. The characters are complex and well developed, Honey was broken in many ways, she was able to get her act together and it was Ice who took her in just as she was trying to find her way. She found a home and family in the club, it was Hawk who took a liking to her but he stepped a side when Ice went in for the play. Only thing was Ice was not offering much, his heart was elsewhere but she went in anyway, hoping things would change. And they did but not in her favor. Getting over Ice was not easy, neither was having to have his new love interest living in the club. But she kept it real and dealt with it, Hawk still wanted her and when the time was right she felt he was right for her. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is fast moving and is a great mix of new material and old, all shown from Honey’s perspective and POV. I am looking forward to what comes next for Honey and the Knights of Silence MC. Amy Cecil, thank you for another great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Mark and Maya Bravo are awesome narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They capture the characters emotions as well the drama of the story which is projected into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen🎧
That is, until she falls in love with the man that made it all happen.
My take on this book: Raw Honey is a never boring insight of the Knights of Silence club life. Looking into Honeys life will open your eyes to so many emotions. Beautiful Crazy is the only words to describe this book. To see everything from someone's POV that isn't one of the main players is so interesting. This can be read without reading the others but I recommend reading thebother 3 Knights books first. I can not wait to see what happens.
Raw Honey Knights of Silence MC, Book 4 By: Amy Cecil Narrated by: Maya May Bravo, Mark Bravo
Amy Cecil continues to keep enthralled with her Knights of Silence Series. Raw Honey is just that! Honey is a tough character. Coming to the MC needing shelter and a job, Ice takes her in and she becomes one of the family. Her growing feelings for Ice are quickly halted with the return of Emma and the true Honey comes to the surface. Now we get the real feel of this woman. She is broken and for me, I think she hasn't quite gotten to like herself enough yet. Complex and still seeking that true love, she finds safety with Hawke, and unbridled lust with Saint. It's frustrating and fascinating to see her learn about herself and grow. i loved returning to important scenes of the story we had witnessed from other points of view, really rounding out the story. There are a lot of unanswered questions and Cecil does end on a cliffhanger, so it just leaves us wanting more of this tantalizing series.
Mark and Maya Bravo continue their wonderful narration. I am loving this pair. Mark is fantastic with his many voices of the MC. From Rebel's Irish brogue to Saint's attitude, he brings them all to life. Maya is incredible as the women. She finds Emma's sweetness and Honey's brokenness and voices them perfectly. These two are this series and I am thrilled to listen to them.
This story is written in Honey's POV. Honey found her place in the MC world and earned their trust. She fell in love with Ice from the beginning. He told her he wasn't looking for an Old Lady, just a good time. Honey hoped he would eventually change his mind. All her hopes came shattering down, when Emma was in danger and returned to Ice's life. Amy Cecil makes this story interesting by letting us in the thoughts of Honey. All her raw emotions, jealousy, confusion, regret, turmoil, are exposed. Her ongoing struggle with addiction and the reason behind the choices she made. How her friendship eventually developed with Emma. One thing that Honey wanted to do was to make amends with her ex fiance, but ended up shattering his world. In this story we see a helpless Amanda/Honey return home , to develop into a woman full of spark, sass, confidence and inner strength. Maya Bravo and Mark Bravo are excellent narrators. They just don't tell this story, they live it. They emote every Feeling of love, anger, angst, fear, pain, humor and sarcasm of every character in this story. Bringing all the characters to life. I loved listening to it. 🎧audiobookObsession🎧
Raw Honey was a great installment for this series! Since the start, I’ve been curious about Honey’s character… her mysterious past, how she came to be with the Knights, and her relationship with Ice and then Hawk. We get all those answers as the author creatively recaps the first three books through Honey’s POV. I love that we get to revisit scenes through Honey’s eyes and feel the carousel of emotions that she goes through while dealing with all the drama of the club and her own individual struggles. As the story brings us up to present day, Honey’s feisty attitude catches the eyes of Sainte and sparks fly when the two of them collide! The author leaves us with another cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Honey, as well as the rest of the Knights of Silence MC.
Listened on audio: I was thrilled that the narration of this book was done in duet!! Maya and Mark Bravo did an amazing performance yet again, but the duet narration brought it to another level, and I wish the whole series was done in the this style.
I warn you now, Raw Honey will leave you craving for more!
When first starting to read Amy Cecil's Knights of Silence MC series, I can honestly say that Honey was far down on the list of my favorite characters. I was Team Emma all the way. But, getting to see into Honey's past has really brought to light what a badass she really is!
In the first 3 books in the series, Amy uses multiple points of view of various characters to tell the story. Raw Honey is solely Honey's point of view. Being able to experience Honey's perspective from the first 3 books and onward really gives the reader an insight as to just about every event that was covered in the books, and it was done beautifully!
In ICE and ICE on Fire, Amy makes you fall in love with the relationship between Emma and Caden. In Raw Honey, she toys with your emotions all the while concocting a new relationship you can't help but be compulsively obsessed with!
Another delicious, golden gem by Amy Cecil!! As a reader, I do hereby declare that this author must keep writing! :) The title of the book does an incredible job of subtly letting the reader know that there are raw and intense emotions coming out as the book progresses, all the while the author has written the story in such a way that the audience can experience what the characters are feeling. The growth the protagonist endures is both heart-breaking and empowering as she finally seems to settle in her own skin. This book can be read as a standalone, however to fully appreciate and understand the depth of the heroine and events throughout it is advised to read them in order. It's definitely worth it though!! Be warned! Once this story has been picked up it will be glued to the reader's hand far past the ending. It is a book which will linger, forever loved and begging to be reread always.
Raw Honey is book four of the knights of Silence MC series yet I haven’t read any of the first three. I however didn’t feel lost and missing anything in the story. I will now need to listen to the others because I enjoyed this one so much. Honey is returning home after the running away from it years before. She has been through a lot and even though she is coming home she is still hiding from her past. When Ice finds her in the side of the road and then takes her into his club, she finally finds the family she so desperately needed. However she is all over the map with her feeling for the men in her life and her journey is far from over. There is a lot of Ice’s story here too and I loved how it all merged together. There is so much more to come!! The narration was brilliant by Maya May Bravo and Mark Bravo. Such a wonderful audio duet. Overall a great listen and now I need to get caught up on all the series.
This is the 4th book in the amazing tales of the Knights of Silence and it's all from the point of view of Honey. You get introduced to her right from the get go in book one of this series. She is a woman who is still trying to overcome the demons of her past when she comes home and falls in with the Knights. She is taken in by this MC as one of their own and she is indeed as what her new name seems Raw Honey; she will dish it out as bluntly and as raw as it comes but she can be as sweet as honey too. She will fight and protect for those she comes to love. But things aren't always as simple as she would like. This book follows along the timeline of the first three books so you get a different look and insight into this wickedly good ride. Action packed, mischief, mayhem, and sizzling sexy scenes that you won't be able to put this book down.
I guess cliff hangers just aren't for me some days.
I'm conflicted on this one. I wanted honey to have a hea or at least and ending... and the cover was so exciting but doesn't really match the storyline ..
Good character development meant that I thought Ice was an ass, honey was lost and hwake was a puppy . I wanted to shake honey and say wtf is wrong with you - likewise for Hawke.
While the story is an Mc story it wasn't heavy based on the club but on individual circumstances of people who happened to be part of a club.. overall 3.5 - but that being said the Sainte aspect will keep me reading into the next book where I hope the chemistry will amp up and make the storyline spicy with an increased focus on the Mc aspect.
