Will following her heart be the answer or her ultimate downfall as she narrows it down to the final five bachelors?

***This is an upper YA/NA crossover with lots of schmexy bachelors and is best suited for age 17 and over. The steaminess factor does increase through the course of the series!

G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.

Hitched: The Top Ten was an absolute blast! We got to learn more about Azar and the political rulings. And I loved that we were down to ten bachelors and got to spend time learning who they were. With group dates and accidents still being prevalent, there was a lot of action in the pages and a hint of mystery in the air. This book flew by fast again and I found myself shocked with a barbaric twist within the pages.
Not only have I been thrown into this dating game with supernaturals, but they’re all from super powerful and politically influential families. What does that even mean, and how am I involved?

The only thing I was wishing for, was that we got to hear all of Kimmie's thoughts. She doesn't share all of her feelings with us, about the guys. And with her kissing many of them, it left me feeling nervous we wouldn't end up on the same page. Thankfully she kept my favorites around at the end of the book, when she narrowed it down to the final five!

This 2nd book of the Hitched series was still good even though it lost some points due to some slow moments but it still held my interest (barely). Well off to book 3 and hopefully, it's a bit faster paced and more captivating than the last.

So many choices!

Kimmie-Jayne is continuing in her starring reality show role on Hitched and is down to ten supernatural hot guys from 25. But the attempts on her life have not stopped. In fact, the “accidents” have ramped up. Someone desperately does not want Hitched to be aired, but who?

Meanwhile Kimmie is developing feelings for several of the guys, supernatural or not. But how can she ever pare down the current ten to five? She has a vampire, Fae prince, dragon shifters, a wolf shifter, a demon, an angel, a gargoyle and more.

This part two read really quickly and got to the point. Kimmie is getting to know the guys well, some better than others, as she narrows down her choices. I really like all the guys but especially the demon Ryder. There are some others I’m not sure about, and some I don’t trust. Now on to the final five!

I liked this book even more than the first! As expected there was more worldbuilding and character development as the contestants start to dwindle down. After that ending, my need for book 3 is even greater than it was for book 2. In this book we got to see more action, danger and romance. Then by the end Kimmie had to eliminate another 5 contestants!

I am so happy with the 5 she chose but I will miss two of the guys she didn't want to part with. Also, I was on the edge of my seat with the action scenes and the final "twist" in this book.

So I have high hopes for book 3 and the future date "theme" the bachelors have to film with Kimmie in the next few episodes. It will be fun to really get to know these top five guys and see who Kimmie grows closer to. I also have a theory about who the final guy will be... or at least a really big twist in who the potential "one" can be.

Not much I can say. The story carries on.

Nothing really new in this book. The elimination continues:

Kimmie still can't make her mind up on one guy. I mean, at least give us a sign!:

People are still dying:

At this point, at least there's more interactions between the guys and Kimmie, and at least I can remember their names.

This book was super fun, and I have to say quite a few of the bachelors stole my heart, including a few that didn't make it to the final five. I can only hope we have the opportunity to see them again in the future!

With the "accidents" on set still a threat, Kimmie's suitors have to step up to protect her, but jealousy abounds as the men fight for her attention and affection. After the revelation of her suitors' true natures, Kimmie-Jayne must learn to navigate Azarian politics if she hopes to remain safe and have a future with any one of the men.

I loved the dynamics between the guys, and Kimmie's strong personality and no-nonsense attitude that could force them to stop fighting each other and focus back on her. She doesn't give up even when she's been through so much, and won't let anyone derail her from her goals.

Wow, I fell more in love with the bachelors and Kimmie-Jayne than I was in the first book! It was so nice getting to know the bachelors a little better (my favorites are the dragon twins Flare and Fenix — and not to be that person, but I like Ryder too haha!), and Kimmie-Jayne was just as lovely and spirited as she was in book 1.
I was in suspense the whole book, trying to figure out what the next twist was going to be! Man, the end was wild and I’m so looking forward to the next one.

disclaimer: I received this as a free eArc. This is my honest review!

3.5 stars. Now that the big reveals have come out and we are down to our top 10 we really get to pick up steam here.. literally bow chica bow wow. Everything is still PG, don't worry. Despite all the game twists, as well as plot twists of the story the author really starts focusing on building the relationships between the characters. I really like how the FMC is hell bent on finding the real deal. Even when finding that entails asking the hard questions in order to narrow down her search. It helps the reader because we don't spend too much time falling for someone that the heroine isn't going to pick. I'm not looking for heartbreak here. I just feel by now we should have a clear picture of who is really the one but the author is crafty keeping us in the dark and making all the connections seem feasible.

The great mystery really is who the heck has it out for Kymmie and her guys.. and why. At this point I have suspicions but they don't feel completely right yet. The game is getting dangerous and deadly and fingers are pointed in all directions but there isn't a clear culprit at the end of any of the fingers. Even though I still know the ending due to my mishap of reading a spinoff first. I still don't quite understand how we get there. This author has me pulled in all kinds of directions. My favorite at this point is Cillian. The angel extraordinaire. I seriously hope some of these guys that are let go get stories of their own. I don't want this to be the last we see of them.

I wonder what dangers await in Book 3. Especially with only 5 guys now. I'm not sure I completely agree with Kymmie's choices but..

Hitched Top Ten

I wanna be Kimmie-Jayne. I wanna be Kimmie-Jayne. I’m clicking my heels 👠 and nothing is happening !!! Who wouldn’t want to be with ten sexy mysterious supernatural men. We continue seamlessly from the shocking ending of Bachelorette. Kimmie-Jayne turns detective when the official diagnosis is released. G.K.Derosa fires her starting pistol for the danger Kimmie is in, taking it up a notch as her life literally hangs in the balance. Prepare yourself for more animosity between the bachelors as political alliance secrets are found out. As Kimmie starts getting closer to the men, she thinks they are all still holding things back from her. Can she truly trust them, can she imagine living in a supernatural world if she marry’s one of the men. Top Ten is full of so many secrets, that the excitement is being replaced with uncertainty as doubts invade kimmie’s mind. Add in the producers relentlessly continuation to push filming regardless of safety, questions are building up. Why? Why must this show air? Who is in danger if it doesn’t & who is in danger if it does? G.k.Derosa is building up this series for what must be an explosive conclusion, as she adds in another great cliffhanger at the end of this books elimination night. Ten become five !! I’m excited for book.3. As I wait for all the different threads to be combined, and truths revealed.

We join Kimmie-Jayne right where we left her in the previous book. Despite all the weird going’s ons ”Hitched”is still filming and the shows executives are desperate for it to stay that way. We are now down to the top 10 supernaturals that are in competition for her heart and hand. The newest reality show is pushing Kimmie to her limits but it seems she’s not the only one that’s a target.

I didn’t love Kimmie that much on her own in the first book but she had definitely gained something in this book. She seems to have morphed into a better version of herself and is finally starting to take action against the powers that be. I have a clear tip 5 in my own head and only wish I could be in her shoes!!

It’s a paranormal romance mixed with fantasy and a dash of mystery all thrown together. It is modelled after the Bachelor/Bachelorette reality show format. It’s a fun storyline and lots of action going on I did have a lot of fun reading this book and was addicted! I was so engrossed with this book and was left gasping.

This book is a must read for fans of supernaturals, the Selection book series, and reality shows. I can not wait for the next one!!

Once again- Bravo Ms. DeRosa!!

Sometimes you're just so entertained by a book you don't take the time to realize how nuts the concept is.

Seriouosly - a reality TV show set in another dimension where a human woman has to choose between a bevy of hunky bachelors, who all just happen to be either a creature from folklore or fairytales or possess some superhuman ability? Yeah. Dragon-sfhiters, a fae prince, a vampire, a demon (!), a gargoyle, a merman (!), and an actual ANGEL.

Well.

Throw in a whodunit murder mystery, and you have a recipe for one hell of a book. Will you have questions? Yes. Will you be entertained as you turn page after page? Definitely.

And in the end, who will Kimmie Jane choose? Bring on BookThree!

I soared through the first book in the series, and this one was no different! I really enjoyed that this novel provided the chance to get to know each of the bachelors more closely, which gave significant back story to their personalities. The fact that they're supernatural just makes them even more fun. Kimmie-Jayne is the kind of character whom anyone can see a bit of themselves in, so it's easy to envision yourself in her shoes and consider who you would choose if you were her.

She's got a bit of a damsel in distress thing going on, which I'm not super crazy about, but the plus of this is that it lends to many opportunities for the guys to use their magic and flaunt their stuff-- which is just a whole lot of fun! There were a few in the top 5 I would have swapped for other bachelors, but I can understand her reasoning for choosing who she did.

I can't wait to read the next installment in this series!

So many secrets!

This book was just as fabulous and fun as the last one! I enjoyed getting to know the guys a little bit better and understanding their world more. Meanwhile, the plot twists just keep coming. World rocked.

There are so many things I’m confused about and have questions about. Answers I’m sure we’re going to get in the next books- which I can’t wait for!!! 2 weeks is too long... even if it’s shorter than usual series.

The writing is smooth and makes for an easy read. The heroine is relatable which makes you feel for her all the more. The bachelors are yummy and worth every second of your read.

Bless you G. K. DeRosa!

This second book in the Hitched series did not disappoint. It picks up right where book 1 left off and it was great!! I love the story and that there is something strange going on behind the scenes. It's not just a straight 1 girl dating a lot of guys to find the one story. I love the mystery of who is behind it all. I can't wait to find out who is!! :-)
I loved the ending and can't wait for the next book when she gets to meet the families of the remaining guys - should be very exciting.

Exciting Ride in Supernatural Reality Television

The competition continues, with more twists and turns, danger and make out sessions. This is a fun fast-paced read. I'm already picking up next in the series, ready to go.

We get to know the guys more but a major theme seems to be that Kimmie-Jayne will be unlikely to have a normal engagement or future with anyone these men even though the attraction and affection are there. I bet that will continue to be a factor of consideration, in addition to the forces trying to stop the production.

Fun supernatural Bachelorette read, pick this series up.

The show must go on

I have been eagerly waiting for book two and I was not disappointed. We pick up right where book one ended and the action and drama are non stop. And the romance factor is really heating up! Love the surprise twist at the elimination round!!! Great fun to read, can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

I love how fast-paced these are!! Everything happens quickly, but it's exactly what I needed after the pacing of some of my other reads!! I adore Cillian! So far, he's my favorite, but both dragon Shifters are amazing, too! I'm going to love seeing how Kimmie handles meeting the families and going to each of her bachelor's homes. And finding out about her father. This shall be interesting

I loved how we got to know the her potential suitors much better in this book. We got to see their personality much more, which I definitely enjoyed. I found myself rooting for certain ones over others. I felt like this second book had more character development, which made me more attached to the characters. I cannot wait to see what awaits Kimmie in the final five!!

Hitched: The Top Ten picks up where book one left off with Kimmie-Jayne now set to begin the next set of dates with her top ten picks before having to narrow it down to the top five—all in the midst of a murder mystery with someone out there still trying to sabotage the show.

Book two kept the twists and turns coming all the way to the end, keeping me turning page after page, putting clues together on who the saboteur is and why they want the show, and Kimmie off the air for good. I also really enjoyed getting to know the bachelors more in this book. I found myself really intrigued by Cillian, Elrian, and especially Ryder. He’s not at all how I assumed he’d be. Truth be told though, by the end I was a little sad to see some of them go after getting to know them more, but I have to admit Kimmie’s top five was my top five too.

I have my guess on who Kimmie will pick in the end, but with secrets still being kept, who knows what will happen when they’re all revealed. I can’t wait to find out in book three.

As an advanced reader of this new and upcoming book I am giving an honest review.

Double double toil and trouble. These guys are really throwing it on thick as they try to win her over. Book two moved faster for me and I really enjoyed the one on one contact the characters had. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

This edition is even better than the first, still has mystery and drama and multiple supernatural suitors but there is more substance to these sexy men. All in all, this is a wild concept read that is extremely entertaining and engaging and I loved it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Once again, GK Derosa outdoes herself with an imaginative world that I had to leave too soon. Kimmie-Jayne knows the secret of the show now, but it may not be enough to protect her. There's an unknown force that seems to want to keep that secret from reaching the human world. They want supernaturals to stay in the closet. Even surrounded by dragon shifters, vampires, and guardian angels, Kimmie-Jayne isn't safe.
I have a feeling this series is going to break out hearts because I'm already in love with a few of these guys and I know more have to leave. Not ready for that. Not saying I was it to be RH... sooooo not into that... but I'm going to miss them.
