Ok, so I'm suffering from a major letdown with this book. The author has a way of enticing you in with his early books but when you get to the last book it seemingly falls short. Although this series ended better than his Necrovamp series, it still ends with most everything in a bow. This book was also plagued by a number of typos & weird grammatical errors. I'm not sure why they weren't caught but it was annoying.

Good but....

Spoilers ahead.... I've enjoyed majority of this series. The jokes, friendship and relationships formed sowed connection and depth missing from many books. The section I was not found of was the introduction of a third to a relationship that seems to defy the odds. Maybe I'm biased as I'm not into polygamy but to me it ruined a part of the book for me and series on a whole. Some may argue that Mel is a succubus after all but she wanted a monogamous relationship and that's why her and Rachel was extra special.
I guess as writer you have to go with what your heart and words are leaning towards but if memory serves me correctly the introduction of the third person received many backlash which was fixed by... or so I thought.
