Lets be real here lads, Athena is so effing bae as a badass and her being a God titan (let's leave AOT aside for a second) just makes the whole reading experience more enjoyable. I have to give props to the amazing artwork like bro, it's so gorgeous and niche. However I am not at all satisfied that it's leaving a goddamn (no pun intended) cliffhanger like WTF MAN WHERE'S S2 GONE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I just like the fact all characters are all likeable, including Nike, Iolo, Ares, Apollo, Sibyl, Poseidon and many others who randomly appear on this criminally underrated manga. If you're into Greek mythology in a anime style version, this one's for you boys and girls!
Ps I read this nearly the whole day (Saturday) to finish the 104 chapters, no joke lol!

Athena Complex is inspired by Greek Mythology. It is about a Goddess of War, Athena that gets rejected by Poseidon after confessing her feelings to him, Poseidon leaves Athena alone after hurting her feelings. Then Poseidon rebels against Zeus and gets beaten by Athena, instead of being killed at battle, he was judged by the 12 Olympian Gods and is sentenced to live as a human. Athena feels angry towards Poseidon because of the hurtful things he did to her and decides to go on a vacation in the human world to get revenge on Poseidon's human reincarnation, Adrian Waters Lee.
I liked the design of the characters, they seem youthful and powerful, yet scary and evil. I like them because they have a cool feeling when you first see them. When they introduce new characters, I am always amazed at how pretty they are drawn. I don't know if their appearance is accurate or not because I only have limited knowledge on Greek Mythology.
I didn't like the ending, it felt like a cliffhanger to me. The ending for me didn't tie any knots or make any sense whatsoever, the epilogue also didn't help on my understanding. It made me even more furious when I found out there was no season 2, it is the authors choice on whether to make one or not but if they didn't intend to, they should have made the ending better or make sense.
I like the comic and would definitely recommend it to people who like comics and Greek mythology, I don't know if it is accurate or not since I have limited knowledge on Greek mythology.

Athena Complex has a complicated plot that is loosely based on Greek Mythology. It's is very complicated that I don't know what going on anymore. What did really happen to Poseidon's trial 2000 years ago? Will Athena know the truth? Will Athena and Adrian end up together? It's not my favorite, and it ended with an open ending. Will it have a second season because I have so many questions? I'm just so confused.

I love the art graphics also the color of it. I love athena,iool, Nike, Apollo, Artemis - a bit - only I saw in few scenes only,Hermes, Zeus - love the true form of his younger self better,Adrien n Poseidon. I have to say something, Why Poseidon hide something from Athena n Apollo? even though they try to help him n save him. To my theory - it has something to do with Zeus n Poseidon conversation without anyone interfere plus it connect to metis too. I need season 2 pls, You can't end this chapter like that. I don't know who I ship either PoseidonXAthena or AthenaxAdrien as long their relationship are stable.I think Adrien think that he saw athena as a girl. Athena wearing school uniform reminds me of Haruhi from Ouran high host club. Tom Kang reminds me of Karma from assasination classroom.

I love Greek mythology, but had to stop reading this due to blatant discrepancies with the original myths.
1) Athena acts as a love sick teenager, which is OOC for the goddess of wisdom
2) The object of her unrequited affections is Poseidon, who was her rival in several myths such as the naming of Athens, Medusa etc.
3) Poseidon is banished by Zeus. In the myths, Hades is banished to the underworld.
I'd recommend reading Rick Riordan's works instead for a younger take on Greek myths.

Really good. I thought some of the gods interactions were weird... especially athena, and it deviated from the myths, but its story was interesting and refreshing.

This Webcomic just had this vibe that I really found myself drawn to. Really glad that it came back from a lengthy hiatus. The art style change caught me a bit off guard at first, but I'm really enjoying the new art (the old was was amazing as well). As for the plot, I like how it was based off of Greek Mythology in a way, but it didn't totally dictate the entire story. 10/10 would recommend.

The change in artstyle this season affected me more than I realized 'coz I'm struggling to pick it up again 😆
The 1st season, it was the translation but I try not to mind it so much. I'm just glad there's an english version.
Story-wise I like it 'coz heck yeah, it's greek mythology. Poseidon here is my fave and I really ship him with athena. Poseidon, not adrian.
Adrian is meh. He really doesn't have a lot of strong points. I see him as whiny, crybaby and weak. Even Sibyll has more guts than him.
Athena's plan for revenge is equally as meh. It is cringy and a bit boring. I just like it whenever Poseidon comes out. Although
His attitude towards athena around the last chapters of S1 is crappy. Why the heck would you ask her that?
Answer's probably out on S2 I'm just not there yet.

I wanted so much more of this webtoon. It's still in my subscribed. The relationships of the different gods is so intricate and intense especially poseidon and Athena. I wanted to see them fully make up and maybe a little more of their powers.
