Colby Harlowe has many problems.
Way too blunt. Doesn’t know how to talk to people. Grates my nerves like somebody’s paying her to do it.
But, God—she’s beautiful, sweet, funny...brutally honest, a quality I both hate and admire. If it was just me, I’d go after her in one stuttering heartbeat. But it’s not just me.
My daughter is Priority One. I’m not looking for a girlfriend; I’m looking for London’s new mom. The day we met, I knew that search couldn’t possibly end with Colby. But the closer she gets to me, the closer she gets to my kid...or, maybe, the other way around.
She’s not at all what I’m looking for.
Which is exactly why I can’t stay away.

When this series first came out, I passed on it, even though I've read and enjoyed several books by this author before. I'm not even 100% sure why. I also thought it was a 3 parter with cliffhangers, which I normally hate, unless all parts are already out. So when. The box set came out, I thought, why not, they're all here. Well, first, they are separate, complete stories each. They are connected, but complete on their own. The first 2 stores are about each of 2 brothers, the 3rd story runs around the same time frame as book 2, but it's pretty far removed. Barely anything overlapping. But no less enjoyable. In fact, I think the 3rd story was my favorite. Book 2 was a little harder to follow, jumping around. But once you get used to the style, you'll be good to go

I absolutely love having a series in a box set like this. Only thing I don’t like about it, I can’t give it more than 5 stars and this box set deserves way more then 5 stars!! 🖤🖤
