SO I picked up the first A Faded Star when it first came out. I have never hankered for more books like I have for this series. The twist revealed shortly into the first story was excellent and the characters and writing have been fantastic. Also the development of new technologies was totally believable. I have now finished the series and the adrenaline and wanting to read this great series never let up. I could have brained the Author for taking so long but the end result was definitely worth it.
I am a voracious reader of the genre and have been since a kid, and I have to say this is the most thrilling series to come out in recent times. Definitely do yourself a favour and get this series. There is intrigue, turmoil and some good old fashioned military sci-fi.
I look forward to where the new series will head to from here, so many options...this young man is going to be a giant of the genre!!!!
Amazing world building, interconnected politics, rivalry, and what it might mean to be thrust into the geo-politics of the greater universe. Makes Earthly politics look easy, but what do I know...
The book was really good. Solid parallel storylines with the exception that some where hastily closed off. Get it- moved those to new series. But the hasty wrap up made the ending seem rushed
