College? How did this happen?

One minute I'm starting my senior year of high school and the next, I'm in college. Let me repeat myself. How did this happen?

I can't even begin to understand the crazy amounts of drama I've suffered through over the past twelve months, but I've never been so happy to say it's over. I’m more than ready for this next step in my life.

I came out of my senior year with Nate by my side and a future to start building. To say I have it all is a disgusting understatement. My life right now is perfect. Perfect friends, perfect family, perfect boyfriend. Nothing can screw this up. Not even those little weasels, Jesse and Jackson.

But… I should know better by now. Never say never, right?

You better hold on because you’re about to see a whole new type of girl you’ve never dealt with before. The claws are coming out.

WARNING: The Broken Hill High Series is a four-book New Adult Romance filled with LOL moments, teenage angst, and of course, all the swoon-worthy moments I know you’re all dying for. This series is recommended for mature readers due to cursing and sexual content. If this offends you, then steer clear of this bad boy romance!

For everyone else, dive in and have fun!

pizap-7 '𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐂' Is the fifth full length New Adult romance book within the (Broken Hill High) series by author Sheridan Anne. This is the continuation of Nate Ryder & Tora so needs to be read in order.

I'm on the 'Sheridan Anne' train at the moment, after finishing off with a series of hers which I loved Bradford Bastard I wanted to carry on in that bubble. After this series each boy we've been introduced to gets their very own book and I couldn't be more excited!! So I guess I'll be seeing the New Year in with a Sheridan Anne book!!

Things will be changing with this crew, some will go to out of state colleges, lose contact, whereas others will stay as close as they were as though things aren’t changing in their world.

They are finally growing up.

Just when you think life is going to settle down for these two and their group of friends a few curveballs come out of nowhere and like a domino effect they are all impacted. That threat goes right back to the very beginning of this series.

He’s been stewing away in the background like s snake waiting for the right time to strike.

And strike he does.

But yet again he underestimated the power of love and the lengths Nate would go to to keep Tora safe.

I’m flying through this series and have loved every minute of it. Now onto the very last in Nate’s very own pov.

Absolutely loved this one. Tora and Nate are still going strong and now all their other friends are getting together too.
The only thing that bugged me was Brooke. why on earth would she believe some ass twat she’s shagging over her BFF. Trust me, if I could have reached into kindle and slapped her.... I would have! Silly girl!!!
Looking forward to 5.5 xx

A bit meh

Enjoyed the previous books but this one the drama is a bit too much. It for a bit better at the end. But feel like it just needs a really good epilogue and then we are done.

Just Amazing

This is one of my favorite genres to read, and this author did terrific. It's gripping, action-packed, angsty, with so much drama. It's sexy, steamy, fun, and hilarious. I couldn't get enough, and I'm still wanting more! I love how it all ended, and I can't wait to read it all over again.

I really enjoyed this series.I loved it.
What I loved most was that it was kinda a page-turner, and the lovely SA released a new book every 2 weeks so I could keep up with the story and not forget what happened.

In this book we see everyone in college now, and still love Nate and Tora.
The guy Josh who assaulted Tora back in one of the other books shows up at the same college with everyone else.
The last 15% something big happens where they need to save Tora. It is a bit dark, but then again it's the best damsel in distress kind of scenario to use in these kinds of books.
And, I can't wait til book 5.1 which is a novella where I am guessing shows Tora and Nate getting married.

spoilers below so i remember lots of bad spelling fyi.lol. i type it for me to remember.

Soft and intense
Book 5, Spoiler Attention of Book 4
I loved this new, more mature life of the main characters in the series. There are fewer dramas than in previous books, but they are more intense, while keeping a romantic side to the rest of the story.
I really like the style of this author and her characters that are described both in their best and worst behaviour.
After high school, the faculty: In theory, less hormonal minds and more reflections, but unfortunately, the dramas are just as present. Tora is still with Nate. She is in college and he sets up his classic car restoration enterprise while continuing his studies. The problems come rather from her friend Brooke who after recovering from her separation from Maxen, is looking for a new companion and meets one of Jackson's team members, some of whom are unsavory. Tora can count on Nate's support and fortunately because around her old threats reappear and arguments with her best friend do not help.

Thora had a lot of drama in High School: will it be different now that she's graduated and started college? A new start for Thora, without the drama would have been nice, but there are obviously some things that just followed her there. She has a lot to deal with, a more than full schedule of classes at college and her parents leaving the country for her father's work. Thankfully one thing hasn't changed and that is Nate. Sure he's just as busy as she is trying to get some college credits while starting up his own business. Great Read! I absolutely love the characters, and was especially happy to see that Jesse is still included in the busy lives of Thora and Nate.

Well what can I say, Sheridan Anne has outdone herself AGAIN! 🤩
I found it a whole new and different dynamic with Nate and Tora experiencing what life is like with a building business and college along with their friends. Getting to see how all the characters have changed and stayed the same I enjoyed a lot. I don't know about the rest of you but Sheridan Anne gave me a huge book scare! (Not mentioning due to spoiler, but if you want to know GO READ THIS GREAT BOOK)
Once I finished Broken Hill Havoc and saw that the next book, Broken Hill Honor, will be with Nate and Tora in the future all in Nate's POV! How exciting is that?!
If you have not checked out the Broken Hill High series I suggest that you do.

Felt like this had the potential to be so much more than it was. You simply get the feeling that the main characters relationship is extremely unhealthy and perhaps they would be better of with others. Which is not the feeling you want to have when ready a romance novel.

I listened to the audible version of this story and absolutely loved it. It's the perfect conclusion to all of the characters in this story. I couldn't love Nate and Tora more in this story along with Jesse, Kayla, Brooke, Puck, Courtney, Riley and the rest of the crew. I loved that there was an epilogue with a surprising and fantastic ending. This book left me with a smile on my face.

This is going to be more of a series overview and overall review of all five books. (Spoiler-free)

Straight up, if you liked the Fallen Crest High series, then you will love this series too. And if you liked this series (Broken Hill High) then you will love Fallen Crest High.

First of all, I loved the relationships in this book series. Nate and Jesse are the perfect bad boy brothers and they're personalities are just so satisfying because of how even they are. By that I mean, Jesse keeps things light-hearted and funny and Nate is more of the thinker and serious one. And together, their combo is fire. And of course, Nate and Tora are so cute together, not to mention the perfect enemies-to-lovers relationship. Also, I loved how Tora had that one best friend, Brook, that sticks with her through everything. And to make Tora and Nates love story even better, Jesse and Tora get along soooo well. Lastly, I love that they each have their own group of friends that are polar opposites but mix together so easily. So overall, Sheridan Anne did an AMAZING job creating well rounded characters.

The plot is really good and kept me hooked with all the ups and downs. Though, if you don't really like drama then this isn't the book for you because lemme tell ya, this series was FILLED with shit loads of drama. But of course, I LIVEEEEE for high school and college drama.

This series was seriously a huge journey (haha not literally - I read it in 5 days) and I think it was just perfect. Though if I'm being honest, the actual writing didn't exceed my expectations and there were noticeable errors and little things Anne could've made better; yet, because of how much I enjoyed the actual plot and story, I didn't mind enough to give it any lower than a 5 star rating.

2nd read: IM SO SAD IT’S OVER

This book was the perfect way to finish the series off. I love how the scene was already set and for me I prefer college books to high school books and I feel like I can connect more with certain experiences. I loved how things had slightly changed and shifted and new scenes were set but the same storyline and dramas did occur throughout.

Once we dove straight into to the drama I couldn’t stop reading. It was like I was sat in the edge of my seat as I had been waiting all this series to get some serious drama and I did. TW is advised as kidnapping occurs. I really really dislike Josh and to hear his name come up in this book had me screaming. As much as I hate him, he brought the necessary drama to make these follow up books more interesting. Josh risked his whole future for revenge which is stupid but was a perfect way to conclude the series. I loved how this book ended and it made me very happy to end the series of that note.

When I started this book I was only contributing to complete the series. My personal pet peeve is an uncompleted series so I just went along with it but if this drama could’ve happened earlier it probably would’ve given the series as a whole a much better rating from me.

I can’t give this book enough stars to convince you how much I love this series. I didn’t know how much I would love with series when I stared it but you will fall in love with all the characters.

The girls Tora, Brooke, Courtney, Brylee, Kayhla, and Elle. The boys, Nate, Jesse, Maxen, Jackson, Tyson and Puck. Even though this series is mainly about Tora and Nate you still get a glimps into all the secondary characters lives and their love.

This 5th book inthe series will make you go through a million emotions, happy, sad, angry, giddy and even heartbroken. The author takes you on a rollercoaster that you won’t want to get off of. I won’t ruin anything with spoilers but I’ll leave you with this. This has far been the best book in this series. There are a few surprises not all of them are good.

This is one of those books that you don’t want to get to the end, a book you will read way past your bed time, a book you won’t soon forget and a book that will stay on your kindle so you can re read it over and over again. You will fall in love with Broken Hill!

***SPOILERS***

I wasn't sure how college would work since the transition from high school to college is always a little odd in books but this one worked out just fine. I will say that the conflicts before the major climax of Josh coming in to ruin everything were okay. I enjoyed reading it but it was kind of your run-of-the-mill drama/very slice of life. However, I loved seeing Nate advancing in his career with his car business. The twist with Josh was expected and unexpected at the same time. I was shocked by what happened to Tora but the fact that this happens in real life made my heart jump. I loved having Nate's POV during that intense situation because otherwise I would have felt left in the dark or would have had to read about the recording which would have left me with more questions. I kind of wish I could have seen the recovery process for Tora, even though there wasn't really room since it happens towards the end of the book. The sexual assault that she had to endure is horrifying on top of what I read in the first book between Tora and Josh.

I am excited to read the novella since there is a time jump and it is told from Nate's POV!

>Book Review – Broken Hills Havoc
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 5th in the Broken Hills High series and ends in an HEA. Brooke and Tora are now in college and rooming together. Tora’s parents are once again MIA. Nate has started his new business. Nate and Tora’s relationship is going strong, even though they are both insanely busy. The drama this time around is between Tora and Brooke, over a creepy boyfriend. There is an old danger coming back for Tora, bringing out the alpha protectiveness of Nate.
>This book is appropriate for a young adult (16+) audience. I am giving this story 4 stars. I felt Tora’s reaction to her attack was too non-eventful. The depth of Nate’s guilt over her attack was mentioned, but not really developed. I would think Tora and Nate would both need to be in therapy or something. The scene with Nate’s car getting auctioned was so sweet, showing the insecurity of a normally totally secure Nate.

Broken hill havoc is book five in the broken hill high series. This book is the next instalment in Nate and Tora’s story. Now that high school is over, Nate and Tora have College to figure their way through. Still very much in love, other issues appear. Such as a face from the past suddenly being back and a new enemy.
I still love Tora and Nate as a couple. The chemistry between them is clear to see and I love them as a couple. They’re perfect for one another.
I liked that Tora is equally as protective of Nate as he is of her.
I have said it before and I will say it again; I love Jesse! I also love Jackson. I hope they both get their own stories!
I wasn’t a big fan of Brooke in this book. I understood why she was angry but she didn’t need to treat Tora that way. That being said, I liked that Tora was still there for her after everything.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Theeeyyy’rree Baaaaacccckkkkk! Broken Hill High was originally set to be a four part series and, after the neat little bow that tied everything up (aka Book Four aka Broken Hill Hearts), imagine my surprise to find Tora, Nate and the rest of the crew back at it. This time, we find them (or most of them) in college at Broken Hill University. Other than a big incident towards the end of the book, this installment is pretty light hearted. After falling in love with these characters in the previous four books, it was great to see them evolving, finding their way in the world and cementing their relationships in the way that doesn’t always happen after leaving high school. I’d happily keep checking in with this crew as they progress through life well into adulthood. Broken Hill Class Reunion anyone?
