I really enjoyed this second book in the Shifters of the Aegis series. I loved that our heroine was a wild wolf, and I laughed out loud at our “stuffy” dragon. What a perfect pair. I look forward to book 3

Even better than book 1...Free spirited wolf with straight-laced dragon, oh my!
I totally enjoyed having more bits of humor in this story. It made a break from excitement mixed with extreme emotion. I found myself gasping, then getting emotional, and then laughing. I like how this series is going. We met Lily in book 1, where she had a major role. Casey was at the first meeting, but then not for the rest of the book. Here we get to see 2 very opposite characters, meet, argue and start to appreciate each other better. The Dragon dream had a very wolfish twist to it, which I enjoyed immensely! It was also interesting to watch people from 2 very different cultures learn to see the good points of the other. I think this is my 2nd favorite story from both series, after the Bachelorette epilogue from Dragon Dreams box set. This story has a breakneck pace, an intense tone and an action and character oriented storyline with some steamy scenes and vibrant characters who make you root for them! Read the Dragon Dreams box set first and then these books in order to get the effect. Enjoy!

The fight against the evil “Fangs of Apophis” continues in the “Alpha Protector Dragon”. This time Casey Briggs from the “Flight of the Snows” joins forces with Finn Donnelly from the “First Flight of Dragons” to fight against the “Fangs of Apophis” Casey is also charged with protecting Lilly King the daughter of the wolf shifter alpha from the “Fangs”. She is also an alpha and doesn't want a bodyguard but as the attacks by the “Fangs” intensifies she agrees to work with Casey. They develop a close bond which soon turns into an undeniable sizzling attraction. Can a wolf-shifter and a dragon shifter be fated mates? Can love overcome the seemingly insurmountable obstacles? “Alpha Protector Dragon” is filled with heart-pounding suspense, sizzling sexual tension and heart-wrenching romance. This is an incredible fast-paced read which holds you captive until the final page. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Good book
Casey and Lily are a most unusual couple... A dragon and a wolf. Casey is fulfilling a blood debt to Lily's father and she wants no part of it. She's being targeted by the Fangs for her necklace and has no idea why. It's a fun read and the dialogue is hysterical. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a rom -com.

Brilliant and fun
What a great story to continue the adventure of Dragon v fangs. A new flight, new characters and new adventures. This time the dragons are prim and proper and very formal to the point of being ridiculous so seeing one try to cope with a free spirited alpha wolf is fun fun fun. Look forward to the next book

This was a fun afternoon read. I like how Lily ran Casey on a merry chase instead of immediately falling over for him, and she fought everything ( and I do mean everything!) tooth and nail. I like this spin off, it is a great afternoon getaway and is a much needed break from reality! Thank you for the opportunity to review this work.

Brilliant story
Great story carrying on from the first book of dragons v fangs a blood bent is called from alpha wolf to protect his daughter Casey a dragon takes on this blood debt. Casey and Lily grow close but she denies him the right of passage of claiming which is his tradition to claim a mate Lily. This is a great story of love and adventure

Nice Enough to Pass some time
I didn’t dislike this story and did finish it but I just felt like I wanted a bit more depth, a few of the ends tied up a bit more. Lily came across well as a strong stubborn character but I am just not so sure that

Can’t wait to read the next, “shifters of the aegis”.
I loved the series with “flight of dragons”, and this is 2nd book in shifters of the Aegis. It didn’t disappoint, in fact I wish the book was longer so that I know if female Alfa is part Adanais too.

Enchanted with These Characters
I loved reading menagerie of wonderful different bunch of Shifters and Humans! I was both entertained and impressed and sometimes saddened by the things that they had to endure and overcome! Thanks for the great read!

Good
I really liked this story. This maybe a standalone, but it brings in characters from the first book as well as extends the storyline. It has a bit of a cliffhanger as far as the spirit world is concerned.

Casey and Lily
This book was great it never had a full moment. The love between these two was wonderful to watch as they learned to get use to each other's differences and in the end I was thrilled that they won.

I liked the characters but I think it lacked some explaining, e.g. the necklace. Why it didn't transform with her? I feel my questions are left unanswered.

Fascinating
I love this shifter series! I blew it by not reading it in order but each story is an individual building on a bigger story. Just got to read it.

Alpha Protector Dragon
This book is definitely an opposites attract type of story. Some fun dialog, a mystery to solve, and plenty of action rounded out a pretty entertaining read.
