Amazing page-turner
What a cracking read. I absolutely devoured it within a few hours. To me, this author should write more thrillers. I would class this as a steamy thriller. Yes, there are some hot sex scenes but there’s also an edgy thriller on the go here too.
The characters are fabulous, Draven is a no BS character which we’ve had the pleasure of meeting in one of this author’s other series. He definitely deserved his own billing.
Louise and Draven used to be partners in the police force but something personal had soured their relationship. But Louise turns up on his doorstep needing his help as her sister has been abducted.
Fast-paced thrilling ride that at times took my breath away. Absolute must read and hands down five stars from me. 😀❤️

Draven....
Be still my tattoo, beard, muscly, biker, bad boy loving, heart! I need this man to be real!
I absolutely am in love with this book, this guy, the world, EVERYTHING!
This author has a way of connecting her audience with her characters, it’s one of the many things I love about her. The way she makes you believe in the scenes she is writing.
Draven is a guy who gives no actual F’s. He’s not into the whole PDA thing. If he’s scorned, boy does that man hold a grudge.
Louise is that grudge. She did him a disservice back in the day and now that she’s come “crawling,” for help, he makes her earn it.
And boy, together they are explosive.
It’s a sight to behold, or read in this case.
I highly recommend reading this one. Not only is it a rollercoaster, but it’s believable and thrilling and one hell of a ride.
Oh, I’ve also staked my claim, for anyone that thinks they’re going to claim him. He’s taken, preoccupied and unavailable.

I love, love, love Tracie Delaney's hot as heck a-hole male characters. Draven did not disappoint, with his brash manners, filthy mouth, and abrasive attitude. And Louise is a super strong, hard as nails heroine, who can hold her own against him. Watching them spar as their relationship grew in spite of them, as they worked to solve the mystery together, made my bits tingle. And their sexy times, when they finally get down to business, are super hot. Read this one today!

Excellent characterization, great plot. For me, this is where this author is at her strongest - the romantic suspense arena. This book always going to be a tough ask given that the male lead was introduced in her other book series' and his character stole every scene, even then. He had to be, literally, larger than life. And he didn't disappoint. Loved it.

Ohhhhh I so loved this book,the story flowed along at a fast pace that kept me glued to this story line,i love a dark read and this was definitely the darkest book by this amazing author.
This couple was a match made in heaven as they both had strong characters and was not backing down to each other at all.We have already met Draven in a few of her other books so have a idea of what he is like,but Louise, I just loved her character from the off as she is a match for Draven in every way.The chemistry between this couple was explosive the more time they spent on the case.
Her younger sister is missing and Louise will stop at nothing to find out what has happened,but she doesn't know what she is unleashing and with her determined to find out the truth no matter what it takes, this goes deeper than she ever thought.
This was a fast paced story that will have you on your toes through out with how the plot unfolds,love this authors writing and this book was definitely one of her best yet with the darker element.Five huge Draven stars,

OMG this man. It is no secret that I love this guy. He is a total A**hole but he's the Ass Louise needs him to be. His methods skirt the line of what is lawful, but it gets results.
When Louise Rhodes was a rookie cop, Draven was her T.O. She wasn't keen on his methods, he didn't care and they ended their partnership on bad terms.
Eight years later Louise's sister has been snatched off the street and with time running out, she swallows her pride and begs Draven for help. Let battle commence.
This is a fast paced story that will keep you glued to the book from start to finish. The straight laced cop and the guy who hates people who hurt others and doesn't care what it takes to bring them down. If you aren't a little (or maybe like me, a lot) in love with this guy by the time you finish I would be surprised.
This is the last in the O'Reilly Brotherhood series and OMG what a way to go out, Tracie has out done herself with this one. Do yourself a huge favour and grab it,now.

This was a spellbinding story of corruption of City Crime Officials who are meant to be there to protect you !!
Draven and Louise Rhodes are old partners who had a fall out because she’s a stickler for rules and regulations & he couldn’t care a damn how the work is done as long as he gets results.
Fast forward 8 years & Louise has to approach him for his help which he gladly gives but under his terms.
It’s a very difficult situation as Louise’s sister Keira has been kidnapped by a sex & drug trafficking syndicate with links to high up ranking cops.

After reading the Brook brothers series I’m so glad Draven got his own story and wow what a story it is. He is the most arrogant alpha male ever, but meets his female match in Louise aka Lola. There story started when she was a rookie cop and he was her mentor. Things went badly from the get go and they went their separate ways. Eight years later and Lola, now a detective is back and asking for Dravens help. Her sister is missing, abducted by traffickers. Will Draven help Lola? Can they put their differences aside? You will have to read it to find out.

I have been in a rather spectacular reading rut for months! Safe to say Draven saved the day! I started and finished this book on one sitting and absolutely devoured it. Granted, he is a bit of an arse, as you may know from the Brooks Brothers series, but he is a lovable arse and has definitely met his match in Louise. She's fiesty, will willingly go toe to toe with him and call him out on his bull. They're the perfect team and a perfect match, although it takes both of them way to long to realise that.
Highly recommend, especially if you want to get back onto the reading wagon.

Draven is definitely not your usual romantic hero but you know what? - he's certainly the hero Louise needs when her sister is abducted. Louise struggles with her attraction to Draven. He is a rule breaker and she is a rule follower but as the investigation proceeds she understands him a bit more. I loved their feisty love-hate relationship and really enjoyed getting to know more about Draven. Enjoyable book.

Draven the Maverick
Used to doing things his way, Draven is forced off the police force because of his unorthodox methods. But that doesn't stop him from bringing evil minded folks to justice. And who needs his help, his fellow officer who got him reassigned. Draven was blunt, rude and an alpha hero and Lola was his match 100%. The story line was pretty angsty and sad at times. It did end though with a HEA as it should. This was the last book in the series and I have really enjoyed so far, I wish though for more closure on all the characters. I would have loved to seen a book about Zayden, and even in Draven book, more closure. Just some missed opportunities. Of all the characters, I think I like Ciaran the best.

Such a great well crafted story and easy to read too.
Draven isn't a sweet romantic guy hidden by leathers, motorcycles and tattoos. He is uncompromising, difficult and always true to himself. And in Louise he finds a life partner.
It reminds us that there is always someone for everyone. You just gotta find them.

I do not like to write negative reviews, but I must be honest, this book did not draw me in. This was an okay read for me. I finished it, but I was not compelled to read it. And I don't feel compelled to read other books by this author. The one thing that bugged me the most was Louise's desire to save her sister but not at the cost of her career. Saving someone you love should be worth any risk.

This book was a great suspense with a nice side of hilarious banter. I loved that Louise never took any of Draven's crap, which made him like her more. There were moments when I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest and others where I was cracking up laughing.

I really enjoyed Draven and Lola's story. I absolutely loved Draven's character and Lola is definitely his match. The story flows beautifully and I was sad it came to an end. Well done Tracie.

Brilliant read
I have been looking forward to Draven's story for a while, and wow this book certainly did not disappoint. Fantastic read that is an excellent standalone, however I highly recommend the whole series.
