Another well written part of the Series Auctioned to him. The characters keep getting stronger but the trouble also gets bigger.
The story line and plot is great. There are lots of surprises in the story and filled with drama. I have been caught by all five parts of this series but I feel now that it is time to make a build up and maybe write an end to it. Just my opinion.
The chemistry has not been better and the scenes are as always steamy hot.

When the two main male and female characters get near each other they just seem to combust. They have a very active sex life that is very sensual. This story has turned dark, in that unfortunately a rape has occurred. There is a police investigation ongoing with an arrest made. The main male and female characters continue their love affair amid all the turmoil. It is looking like their love for each other will be cemented. However, we are still left with many questions and situations unresolved. So, to the next installment. The reader is kept on the edge of their seats with all the things happening in this story.

I really enjoyed the first two books if this series. I was enjoying this, until Aiden turned on Ellie. He blamed her for all his problems and threw away as if she were garbage. when I was 16, I went through the same thing. I was naive enough to take him back, only to be treated the same way again. Because if my life experience, I cannot like this book. I received a free Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I will not read the next one.

4.5 Stars! This is the third book in the Black Edge series. How can they continue to survive when it seems everything is against them and our ot their control. They face personal trauma, lots of judgement and the possibility of financial ruin. Will they be up for the challenges? or will it break them? Can they start over? The book continues to captivate and keeps you reading.

This is the third book in Ellie and Aiden. The intensity, drama and pressure continue to build as their story unfolds. With shocking events and jaw dropping twists this series keeps you fully engaged and on the edge of your seat. An excellent book in a terrific series. This is my voluntary, honest review.

another excellent book in the series, Aiden and Ellie’s relationship continues to blossom, and the sexual tension sky rockets.
This book is slightly darker than the other two books, when their close friend is raped.
Can’t wait to see how the relationship will continue to develop in the next book.

I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happens next! Lots of ups and downs in this one. If you haven’t been reading this series in order I highly recommend you go back and start at the beginning.

This one has a lot of bad things happening to everyone. I really hope a lot of it gets taken care of. I'm sure that Ellie and Aiden end up together in the end. I just hope that Tom and Aiden's ex partner (I can't remember his name) get what they deserve. Otherwise I'm going to be angry.

This story really takes us on an uncertain path. We have moments of happiness, and then in the next chapter, things are flipped upside down and we wonder if we’ll ever find a happy solution.
Emotions are all over the place. The future of Owl is looking bleak and that means that Aiden’s future with the company is looking bleak. He has no idea how to get more money to stop the bleeding and that weighs heavily. The news all comments about how it means that the board will kick him out of the company as well and that makes Aiden miserable. The company that he created from scratch in college is going to be taken away from him. How he handles that and how Ellie handles that will show us what this couple is made of.
In this third book, we usually expect to see some type of resolution but there are several more installments to the series. What we get though is a train wreck of sorts. We find that people are not at all what they appeared to be and that those who want the best for our main characters are capable of taking that away in the blink of an eye.
They go to Tom’s engagement party and that ends in a HORRIBLE way. Caroline is there with her new guy Taylor – the one that she met on Aiden’s yacht – but he isn’t a great as he seemed. Caroline finds his flirting with another woman and that leaves her alone. Not for long though as Ellie discovers Caroline unconscious, being taken advantage by someone at the party. Not just someone, but Tom.
So the story is flipped once again here as we watch how this plays out. Caroline sinks into a numbness that’s expected given the experience that she had. Tom’s future in-laws take Tom’s side and that means that all the headway that Aiden made with Carrie’s father to get investment funds for Owl drops to the side.
Ellie and Aiden though seem to be in a good place finally – a united front even though things are going sideways. So great that in fact Aiden proposes. So we’re on a journey watching a couple find their happily ever after.
Until they don’t. Aiden breaks up with her and all on the heels of someone leaking Ellie’s story under her real name and everything that they all worked so hard to keep secret is now out in the open. Aiden tells Ellie that things were all amazing until he met her – and then things started to go awry. He was distracted, he was focused elsewhere and he feels that she’s been the cause of all the scuff ups. So where does that leave us? two heart broken girls, a friend in jail for attempted rape, and a man without his company. A sad place for our story to leave off and it means that I have to dive straight into the next book to see what can be salvaged.

Aiden's issues with his company are spiraling and he feels helpless, while Ellie's self-publishing of her romance novel makes her feel a sense of accomplishment and with Aiden's full support she's throwing herself into her writing.
Ellie and Aiden go away to Maine for a weekend party at her friend's place and everything goes wrong for the couple once again. They go from high to low within a few chapters... Meeting a potential investor for Owl makes Aiden is on a high... but that very same night Ellie walks in on something that puts her in shock.
The incident puts a strain on their relationship and makes them both rethink their relationship.... But it makes Aiden realize that he is a better person now with Ellie in his life and he wants to make it permenant.

WAY TOO MUCH DRAMA! - Don't get me wrong, I do love a good adventure and rollercoaster ride, but this just seemed like so much happened in such a short time and it was almost too much to take in. I was irritated with the story by the end and didn't want to finish it, but I did.

I’m not even sure if I can finish this book. There’s too much random stuff going on and not enough getting to the point. I gave the first two books a chance and thought maybe it’ll get better but it’s not pulling me in. I’m about 46% in and when I learned that there are 5 books to this story I just don’t think I can waste the money to continue on with this series. There’s too much going on with the sub characters and not enough going on with the main characters. We’re focusing on Ellie’s friend Tom and his personality change issues and and devastating act between both her friends Tom and Caroline. Meanwhile we got Aiden’s business issues. Not to mention the main characters fell in love much too easily with no conflict to overcome. From reading some of the other spoilers I know there is a conflict to come between Ellie and Aiden but I’m not sure if I can keep my attention on it to bother finding out.
If this was a trilogy I would have continued on with this series just to get it over with. But I won’t be purchasing the next two books only to feel I’ve been duped.

What did I just read???
I don't even know where to start. I never leave bad reviews. If I don't like a book I just walk away. These books are beyond horrible. They drag on forever, extremely repetive and the timing of things do not line up. The MMC is just immature and split personality. The FMC is a horrible friend and completely selfish. I mean her best friend's life completely changes and she runs off with her boyfriend that just broke up with her? That makes perfect sense. The author goes into excruciating detail about kindle unlimited works and how little an author gets paid. Lastly, the straw the broke the camels back, heads up it is a spoiler, the FMC decides she wants to go the easy way to have the baby and decides to have a c-section. I have had 2 c-sections and there is nothing easy about having one. The recovery is much longer. They way she described how it's no big deal to have one made me sick to my stomach. Best advice I can give anyone? Find a different series. This one isn't worth it.

i read this book as part of an arc program. Aiden is still facing business problems and could be voted out of his company due to investors pulling out. Ellie is still writing and decides to self publish her novel. An opportunity to help Aiden falls in Ellie's lap and things could get a little complicated. Aiden had a business meeting that might save Owl. Aiden and Ellie were at Tom's future in-laws for a party and were staying at their county retreat. Ellie was still writing and self-publishing her romance novel. This part is about what happens after the party and how Ellie and Aiden cope with unexpected developments. I am really loving this series and love how Aiden is changing from a playboy only interested in work and partying to a loving guy who is starting to appreciate the world around him. Ellie is also becoming more confident with her writing and finding herself. I love this series and really enjoyed reading it. Good one

This is the third installment of this series and each book just gets better and better. It is the continuing story of Ellie and Aiden and the trials and tribulations in their unlikely relationship. Read the first two books first to get the full effect of this fabulously told story which remains hot and steamy while also telling the tale of what different directions a relationship can move and how circumstances can change in just the blink of an eye. There are twists and upheavals that have you questioning what you might have initially thought would be predictable, but as things change you remain riveted to the story to find out how things actually turn out. Characters that have you speaking out loud, both the leads have times that you just love to love them and love to hate them because of the choices that they make. Warning, cliff hangers in each book, but don't fret because to will TOTALLY want to pick up the next in the series.

This is the continued story of Ellie and Aiden (MR. Black), it is the third book in the Black Edge series with two more to come. I can’t believe each book gets better and better. I hate the heart ship that Aiden is going through with his business when you think he is going to get it all back thing change. Ellie and Tom have a very rocky relationship with him making passes and engaged to Carrie. Caroline has a lot of things going on after she got auctioned off. I could not put this book down I kept reading until I finished it and now I am on pins and needles waiting for book #4. These books are on my WOW shelf and I will reread them in the future. I received an ARC and have voluntarily left a review.

Wow another well written installment just building the excitement in while Aiden and Ellie hot love affair continues hot or not? The story is riveting and intense, action packed, compelling, fast paced, and emotional. Tom has lost his mind between kisding Ellie and the craziness with Caroline that Ellie tries to stop and report. All while Ellie is still writing and decides to self publish her novel. Aiden is facing problems, investers pulling out. With all the fear, judgment, personal trama and possible financial ruin duevthey still have the stregnth and courage is their love unconditional. Breaking up a couple weeks after asking to marry him, boy I am on that emotional rollercoaster on the edge of my seat again waiting on next installment.

A couple of times I had to put it down to remember that I'm reading the correct series
I have been enjoying the books and as I have brought this whole set I will continue to get through them, however I have been thrown a few time as I felt like I'm mixed up in the series I had read before, same written details as in what she does for a living! The private plane scenery is a bit to similar to say the least and then to read the quote from shawshank in this book as well I'm struggling!!! Just to many similar things in the past 5 books to these 3 yes if you haven't seen the other books first then this is a great read but don't read the whole lot together it's to much even to the "Ludlow" shop really????

Every thought that Ellie wrote in her book came true. Blake won... Aiden lost his company, they fired him. Ellie, Aiden and Caroline when to a get together in Maine. Tom is in jail waiting trail for raping Caroline. Someone leaked information to the press about the boat auction and Aiden decided to break up with Ellie. Aiden is still in love with Ellie but doesn't know what to do to get her back! Charlotte Byrd writes this book like Ellie would. It's a really incredibly hot book, lots of drama, sexual relationships happening in this story. Can't wait to read the next story in this series. This was a fast paced story and like I said I don't want to tell anyone what's going on with all of the people in this story. ENJOY !!

Aiden is still in love with Ellie but doesn't know what to do to get her back! Charlotte Byrd writes this book like Ellie would. It's a really incredibly hot book, lots of drama, sexual relationships happening in this story. Can't wait to read the next story in this series. This was a fast paced story and like I said I don't want to tell anyone what's going on with all of the people in this story. ENJOY !!

Charlotte Byrd again presents us with a great story.
Aiden and Ellie are a perfect couple, and in this book we can see how Aiden is finally maturing and really thinking about committing with Ellie. Meanwhile, Ellie does everything to help him with his business, and she ends up discovering things that aren't that good and threaten the happiness of the couple.
They also have to deal with the realities of life, the situations of ups and downs.
Is their love able to withstand all odds? Or will it be DAMAGED beyond repair?
I love these characters and how they have matured throughout history.
I highly recommend the reading.
