A desperate battle on a frozen alien planet against superior hostile forces. Seems like we’ve been here before.
Jack, Sam, and their small, one ship force have struggled to stay step ahead of their new enemy. When they stumble upon a transport ship stranded on a frozen alien planet, they must save thousands of people from ruthless Devex raiders intent on enslaving humanity for their own nefarious purposes. Can Jack Forge once again be a hero or will his attempts to save the ship doom them all?
Rescue is the second book in the Jack Forge, Lost Marine series. If you like fast-paced military science fiction, you will love watching Jack fight for the freedom of all.
James David Victor is the pen name used by science fiction and fantasy author David J. VanBergen Jr. for co-authored projects. It is his way of sharing more stories with you than he could write by himself.

Allow three hours for this family-friendly continuation of the space adventures of Jack Forge which pick up just after Lost Marine. I read an ARC from Booksprout and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
Jack Forge and Sam Torent work well together and compliment one another in the Fleet Marines. This book keeps your attention to see what will happen next. It is very intriguing . The fleet is looking for and home and escorting many civilian transport ships with thousands of civilians on board. Read this book to see how the story unfolds as the Fleet travels towards a new home. Happy reading! 😊
